Spring Break 2012

Every vacationer hopes for the best in your choice of condos, locations and the overall experience itself. Well ours was perfect!!! The owners of this condo were so accomodating and awesome to work with. One of our favorite features was that every room is a master bedroom. It doesn't get any better than that. We stayed with three moms and a house full of high school girls on Spring Break. We gave them the "master suite" and the had their own little home within a home. It was really nice to have friends come over and have so much room to cookout, dine together and just make amazing memories. Everything that we could have possibly needed was provided. This condo is absolutely beautiful and it is so obvious the pride the owners have in wanting it to be a perfect visit. It was for us and we will definitely be back. Thank you for making our Spring break 2012 a week to remember.

We had very little time to make any plans before finding out we were headed that way. I was frantically scrambling through various sites and found this property - in less than one week from our departure I had received confirmation from Scott and Steph, gotten everything arranged, received the info email, and we were on our way. What an incredibly pleasant surprise when we got there! It was SO much more than what we expected - photos do NOT do this place justice! Spotless, beautiful furnishings, great inside amenties, very comfortable beds, and on and on and on! Top notch owners, property, and helpful hints made our stay feel more like home than a quick vacation. Recommend with enthusiasm to anyone who has a large group - bathrooms in every room - plenty of space to spread out, easy access to the beach, a GARAGE?! (Easily fit two large vehicles) I'm gushing but the owners earned it! You must stay here whenever you visit - definitely a home away from home! Thanks!

Having spent 2 vacations @ Spike's, I can attest to the fact that this is probably the very best 4 b.room rental on Pensacola Beach! The unit is beautifully maintained, the amenities numerous & the location & view spectacular! The owners are accessible & so pleasant to wok with. We live in Pensacola & know the beach well, so I do believe we recognize a good thing when we see it! Spike's rocks!

I can't say enough good things about this property. The house was just as described, if not better. The pictures don't do it justice. We had 10 people in our group and had plenty of room for everyone. We had 5 kids with us, aged 5-14 and they all had a spot. Something I didn't truly appreciate until we were there was the need for lots of bathrooms. At the end of the day, when everyone is sandy, hot and tired, it was so nice to have 4 full bathrooms to run everyone through. But the best part about Spike's Beach Place is the location - right on the beach. Just cross the wooden bridge over the dunes and there you are. We would recommend this place to friends in a heartbeat and would definitely stay here again!

A Great Vacation Townhome

This year, we spent our annual Pensacola Beach vacation at Spike’s Beach Place. This was our first time staying at Scott and Steph’s Beach Place, and we were very impressed. Having a private bath for each bathroom, plus a half-bath for use throughout the day is the highest priority of our vacation group, and the condo met that requirement perfectly. One of our other priorities is cleanliness, so we were happy to find the townhome spotless. It was an unexpected pleasure to find that the kitchen is well equipped and includes various-sized, quality cookware. The large dining room table easily accommodated our group for nightly dinners. Having an elevator to transport heavy items or to assist an older person is a definite plus. Scott and Steph are by far the best owners I’ve worked with. They are prompt with assistance and eager to help in any way. Staying at Spike’s Beach Place certainly assured that we enjoyed a wonderful week at the beach.

June 2011 Family Vacation at the Beach!!!!

Your listing described everything perfectly. With the exception of "can't we stay longer?" the entire experience was what we wanted and more. The home fit our family of 7 adults and 4 children (under 12). At no time were we uncomfortable. It is immaculately clean and creatively nautically decorated. From the spacious garage (plus extra parking spaces across the lot) to welcoming kitchen and living areas to three comfortable bedrooms complete with private baths to our own laundry facility to the positively spectacular fourth bedroom with amazing bathroom with soaking tub to (WAIT FOR IT) the most breathtaking view of the ocean, it's a wonderful place for vacationing. We believed you arranged for a private beach just for our family. Personally, I sat in the water as soon as we arrived and did that every day --- soaking in the sun, water, sand, ocean's music and fragrance. Forget thousands of dollars on therapy; come to Pensacola Beach to this magnificent home. I want to return. Our entire family enjoyed a lovely week. BTW -- many eateries were within walking distance.

If you're looking for a fantastic place for your family or friends to vacation together, then this is the home for you! It is SOOOOOO convenient to have a private bathroom for each bedroom and then to have an extra one off the kitchen as well! This is hands down THE BEST ONE to rent if you have a larger group to accomodate. There is plenty of seating space in the home and on the deck. We were amazed at the amount of bedrooms you have and then to have even EXTRA sleeping areas in the loft or on the sofa bed in the living room. The home is gorgeous and we all loved your nautical theme. Your kitchen is well-stocked and when we chose to have group dinners at home, it sure made it easy to do this. The beach is beautiful and UNCROWDED and the home's location on the beach allows you to enjoy the beach not only when you go swimming, but also when you're sitting around visiting on the home's main deck. So many stories of our younger days to recall....so many fond memories to share with one another.....all were possible because your home is conducive to a multiple family gathering. Thanks so much for sharing your beach home with us!! It was our 2-year-old grandson's first visit to the beach and what a fun time we had seeing it through his eyes as well. We even bought some pretty seashells downtown and then buried them in various places on the beach so that he could find his own treasures. What a fun time he had! (We may have had more fun watching his expressions!!) If you're wondering whether to rent this place, do it!!!! You'll love it! WE SURE DID!!!! Thanks again!!! I didn't even mention the VERY CONVENIENT ELEVATOR and the LARGE GARAGE and the extra parking areas outside, and the SMALLER DECKS OFF THE VARIOUS BEDROOMS, and the PICNIC TABLE downstairs on the beach where we prepared the corn-on-the-cob for dinner and all the many fine restaurants......

I recently had a need for an immediate short term get away and I came across this posting and I can not say enough about my experience with the owners and the quality of the rental property. We were only able to stay a few days but I can easily say I was royally spoiled. The pictures shown on VRBO don't come close in reflecting the actual beauty this condo presents when you walk in the door. If you're looking for a fantastic get-a-way in the Pensacola Beach area - don't and I repeat don't pass this property up - you will not find any better. Our Heaven on Earth

We look forward to returning from the moment we leave our month's stay at Spike's place. We miss the beautiful kitchen which is so well- supplied. It is a cook's dream. We appreciate driving into the garage and unloading our things into the elevator which will deliver items to the kitchen and living area and then, on up to the bedroom area. We enjoy offering our friends who visit their own bed and bath and balcony. The deck has stairs to the beach with no obstructions to view of the dolphins playing in the waves. We just love this place. Looking forward to our third January at Spike's place! The listing and the pictures are accurate. The property is clean and well-maintained. This is a wonderful property to rent if you have physical limitations. We always visit the air museum located on the navy base as well as Pensacola's museums of local history. We stop at JoePatti.s fish market most every day.

This is the perfect place to stay on Pensacola Beach. This condo has it all - beautifully decorated, plenty of room, well - equipped kitchen, very clean, and only steps to the Gulf. I highly recommend this property - you cannot do better. And the owners are excellent to deal with.

Our family spent a long Memorial Day weekend at SPIKES BEACH PLACE. It totally exceeded our expectations. We had 4 generations of our family there.... we had lots of room and tons of fun. This was by far the best vacation house I have ever stayed in. Everything you could possibly need was furnished in this house. Everything was also top of the line. It was very hard to pack up and leave. Loved the elevator! Didn't have to carry llugage up stairs, just put it in the elevator and sent it up. Great! Hope to some day go back again. Scott and Steph were so helpful. Really made it a pleasure.

This is the most beautiful home on Pensacola Beach! I can not even describe the beach and do it justice---white sand , beautiful clear green water and beautiful shells. The owners have put so much thought into what you need on a vacation at the beach down to the minor detail. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was beautiful, and we couldn't have asked for any more. What made our week so great was that our daughter became engaged and this house will always hold a special place in our hearts. Steph and Scott checked on us and were right there to answer any questions we had. We were even able to arrange an extra night the very last minute. We highly recommend this property and can guarantee you will not be disappointed in any way!!! Can't wait to come back!!!

Came down from Ohio to thing condo and it was worth every minute of the drive. There was a large group of us (8) and we fit comfortably. The area was wonderful and the neighbors were a great addition to the awesome area. The house was beautifully decorated and everything you could need was there for you. I cannot wait to go back and spend more time there. If I am traveling south, I am going to stay here. A must stay, worth every dime.

We have rented many condos over the years and this one is outstanding in every way. Your place was the perfect setting for our extended family to gather for Thanksgiving! Mom and Pop had the bedroom on the fist floor and the use of an elevator! The kitchen was so beautiful, my husband now understands my desire to remodel our own. Especially nice was having three king sized comfy beds. No one had to fight for the master bedroom. The beach was beautiful and the views from the deck were awesome. Perfect weather was icing on the cake! Hope we can come back again for another vist. Spikes Beach Place has it all - location, spaciousness, amenities, fully equipped kitchen - the works. We have stayed in other beach homes across the Florida Panhandle, but this was the best! Where to begin!? What a beautiful beachhouse, so comfortable and well equipped. My family and I are working on dates to return next year. We have rented houses/condos for years on beautiful Pensacola Beach but Spike's is the best ever. We have shared the Spike's Beach House info several times since returning home and even with folks while at the Beach who asked about the White Sands! Scott and Stephanie really made us feel at home. Pensacola Beach is like our 'summer home' and Spike's is where we want to be. Can't wait for 2010!

Congratulations to Scott and Steph for the wonderful beach property you have created to share on vrbo. What a great find for my group of beach buddies. I have travelled to the gulf for more than ten years and your home is by far the nicest rental I have stayed in. Your photos don't do the home justice. From your detailed instruction package, your very accomodating and personable assistance with long distance arrangements, to the wonderfully equipped and beautifully decorated home, the stay was ranked 10+. Your attention to detail to ensure that the unit is equipped with everything one might need is most appreciated. The proximity to the beach is great! Such a pleasure not having to make long treks down several flights of stairs to enjoy the white sands of the gulf. We had a group of 11 in total and we had plenty of privacy for all. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the linens were lovely and well stocked. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend your home to anyone looking for a premier beach rental "right on the beach" in the heart of a very interesting area. Lot's to do, shopping, and great restaurant's. What more could you ask for? Great job!!

Scott & Steph, thank you so much for a wonderful stay in your "home". We were here for a friends reunion and the setup is perfect! You have everything we needed and are wonderful people to work with. Our favorite restaurant of the trip is walking distance and the beach is steps away so we never had to get in a car if we didn't want to. The house is perfect for all; families, friends, relatives. You each have complete privacy while enjoying the common areas together. THe house is stocked with everything you need and they took the time to stock it with nice stuff; comfy beds, good linens, etc. I can't say enough good things. The beach is a huge sandbox, beautiful, clean and perfect. Most of all, you were caring and available to us at all times to address questions or concerns. RENTERS: do not hesitate to grab up this place, you'll have no regrets.

What a wonderful place for a vacation!!!! Our family had a great time and enjoyed everything that this vacation home had to offer. We did alot of cooking and relaxing...we had all we needed. Our family had a wonderful vacation at Spike's Beach Place. I see that pictures have been added to the website--they look great. The kitchen is very well-equipped; we used it a lot. Everything was as promised. We would definitely stay here again and we would definitely recommend it to friends. I would add a hair dryer to at least one bathroom and an umbrella on the deck would be nice--and maybe some beach towels. We drove there so we could easily pack them.
