Incredible three bedroom, two and a half bath oceanfront, top floor condo in one of the most desirable complexes in Carolina Beach - Carolina Surf. Come enjoy the spectacular views off the fourth floor balcony or the private rooftop sunning deck, being able to see 20 miles plus in all directions. No stairs to climb to get to the top floor, with a secured elevator easily accessible from the covered, reserved, off street parking area. The unit was completely renovated in 2008 and decorated by the owner who is a professional interior designer offering a fresh, clean, and upscale interior for your enjoyment and pleasure.
The master bedroom is right off the balcony with a king sized bed, ceiling fan, separate vanity area, and bathroom with jacuzzi tub and separate shower. The master also has a TV, sliding glass doors to the balcony, and ample storage including a nice sized dresser and closet. The second bedroom has a queen bed, ceiling fan, 19" LCD TV and is located just off the hall bathroom with tub shower. The third bedroom is great for kids having a bunk bed set (brand new mattress as well) with trundle below and wall mounted 19" LCD TV. This bedroom also has its own half bath for convenience.
The spacious kitchen has all maple cabinetry, granite countertops, tile flooring, and all stainless appliances. There is a four stool bar between the kitchen and dining area for quick meals and easy cleanup. The dining area has a nice sized table and seating for six. There is a recently purchased stackable washer/dryer in the utility closet right off the kitchen.
The living area is spacious and gives you a perfect view of the ocean with a large window and sliding glass doors. Enjoy the 37" LCD TV with DVD player, Bose stereo w/ CD, and wireless internet access. The sofa has a queen pullout for extra sleeping arrangements. The nicely sized covered balcony offers perfect panoramic views as you enjoy outdoor meals on the balcony height table and chairs. The spiral staircase from the balcony leads up to a private rooftop deck - great for sunbathing and incredible views.
The pool is full sized (20' by 40') with a separate kiddie pool also for the little ones. There is also a additional sunning deck with chaise lounge chairs provided. The sunning deck is adjacent to an outside shower at the entrance to the private beach access. The beachfront area in front of the building is as nice as any in Carolina Beach being wide (even at high tide) and has a lifeguard stand within 30 yards.
The condo is perfectly located on a quiet one way street, a block from the boardwalk area for convenience to dining and shopping. It is also located just across the street from the Carolina Beach Lake Park, which has a beautiful lake with a paved jogging trail around it for great walking, jogging, bike riding, roller blading, etc.
All reservations are made through a local rental manager for your convenience and service and are subject to a $40 reservation fee and applicable taxes. This is a No Smoking, No Pets property. Linens are available for an extra fee. Optional coverages include travel insurance and an accidental damage deposit waiver. Check in for weekly stays during the Prime season is Saturday.
The town of Carolina beach is conveniently located within a 20 minute drive of the City of Wilmington, which has significant shopping, dining, nightlife, points of interest, and historical significance. It is also within a five minute drive of the Fort Fisher Historical Site, the NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher, and the Fort Fisher-Southport ferry. Carolina Beach was also the recipient of the "Blue Wave" award recently given to the country's cleanest beaches and ocean waters.

Why the Owner Chose Carolina Beach
We purchased this condo in Carolina Beach because we both have been going to CB all of our lives. The beachfront is as nice as any in NC, but CB offers the best value as compared to other beach communities in NC. The proximity to Wilmington is very nice, which offers more shopping, dining, entertainment, etc. than most beach areas. It is also easy to get to with I 40 almost all the way and the Wilmington International airport.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
We enjoy the proximity to the lake for biking and to the boardwalk area. The unit has an open floor plan which is great, and the balcony and rooftop deck are the best on the beach. We also enjoy the king bed since we do not have one at home!

This was our second stay at this Carolina Beach condo, and this time we spent the holiday break there, and it felt like home since we had been there before! We had everything we needed for a completely stress-free vacation on the beach. Our family of 7 especially enjoyed our mornings on the ocean front balcony, where it almost felt like summer. Christmas day we all even got up early to watch the sunrise from this vantage point, which was a beautiful start to our day! Evenings were a bit chillier, but the sound of the ocean and the bright stars made bundling up worthwhile. A few perks that I want to mention are the grocery carts and luggage carts that are in the entryway as you enter the Carolina Surf building. This seems like a trivial thing, but when you're carrying in your luggage and/or groceries, this is a really significant convenience. We were able to make what would have been multiple trips up the elevator in only one, and we really found this helpful. The trash shute is also a very nice convenience. All you need to do is walk down the hallway and deposit your bags - no searching for the dumpster! Just another small thing that makes this condo special. Finally, Mel (the owner) is always easy to reach and helpful, and our only regret was that we had to leave this haven at the beach and return home to Maryland. We plan to go back again soon, though!

We spent the first week in May at this exceptional condo. It is in a great location with beaches as far as you can see in both directions. There are great resturants within walking distance or at most a short drive. The condo itself is very nicely decorated and the owners did an excellent job of communicating with us. The roof top sun deck was wonderful! After almost 20 years of doing this we have learned that picking a condo from 2000 miles away is something of a coin toss. This condo is a definitely a winner. One of us could have used a hair dryer - other than that it was perfect. (And I suspect if we had asked ahead of time the owners would have made sure a hair dryer was available!)

If a picture is worth a thousand words, then seeing this condo in person was worth a million. It was everything and more than we expected from the photos on your website. We enjoyed the privacy of our individual bedrooms and bathrooms as much as the cozy, inviting opportunities for togetherness at the dining table, the living room, the kitchen bar, the balcony, and even the rooftop. Unloading our vehicles was quick and easy because of the designated parking under the building close to the elevator. The luggage carts positioned there were a welcome sight. The “album” of selected menus from nearby restaurants was helpful, too. We enjoyed delivery from Bowman’s one night and highly recommend it. It was an easy walk to the pavilion where we "oldsters" indulged in Britt’s donuts and ice cream and felt like kids again. Most of all, we appreciated your kindness and professionalism throughout the reservation process. It was such a pleasure that we can’t imagine wanting to stay anywhere else, should we come back to Carolina Beach again. Thank you so very much for having us!

What an incredible time my friends and family had for a few beautiful days during Spring Break. The location was perfect. It's close to everything! We walked to breakfast, rented bikes, explored the boardwalk area, drove down to the NC Aquarium and spent time on the beach. Our first night in the condo we experienced the most beautiful nearly full moonrise and the next night we had a gorgeous view of the full moon over the Atlantic. The condo is well stocked with utensils/pots/pans/etc. for those who like to cook in. We mixed it up with meals and ate outside on the balcony as often as we could. The decor is very beachy and I loved the turtle art that greets you upon entry. The adults really enjoyed hanging out on the rooftop deck as often as possible. A very big plus for the top floor units. Since it was chilly outside and the pool had not warmed up, the kids enjoyed playing in the warm jacuzzi tub in the master bath. I would recommend this unit to anyone looking for an ocean front experience.

This was our first experience at Carolina Beach and we loved it!!!! When we first decided to give Carolina Beach a try we had no idea where we would stay or what to expect. Searching on VRBO we found this condo and it looked like it would be wonderful for our family. Well, it was as wonderful as we expected (clean, well maintained, and exactly as the pictures indicated)! The beach was only steps away, and we were only a couple of minutes (walking) from the amusement park, shops and restaurants. What we liked best was sitting on the balcony each morning watching the sun rise over the ocean...what a beautiful location! We look forward to coming back next year!

May is at times called 'Pot Luck' Season - the weather on the beach can be great, or disappointing. Our two weeks in May could hardly have been better. The weather was pleasant and mostly sunny (the water was too cold for me, but just fine for my husband) - and the beach sandy and lovely. And the condo was exceptionally nice - striking the right balance between nicely decorated and comfortable (just right for the beach, as too formal could make a person feel they couldn't relax). And everything was clean and fresh, another essential for true relaxation. We hope to return!
