This deluxe Key West-style, ground-level home is on a deep water canal only a short boat ride from open backcountry water that offers excellent fishing, spectacular bird watching, and peaceful sea kayaking.
Yet, it is close to shopping, restaurants, world-class beaches, and Key West is only 30 minutes away. This property has plenty of space in the house and yard to spread out.
As you enter the double wood front doors, you enter a spacious Family Room area with comfortable wicker furniture and TV/DVD entertainment center. You then step up two steps to the Dining Room with the Kitchen to the left and and down a step again in the Living Room. You will also find a full bath on the ground floor, just off the Dining Area.
This house, decorated with designer furniture, boasts a newer kitchen, fully equipped with stainless steel appliances: refrigerator with ice maker, glass top stove, dishwasher, disposal, microwave, toaster oven, blender, and coffee maker. Plus tons of dishes, pots and pans, serving pieces and cooking utensils.
The second floor of the house can be reached via a spiral staircase. Off the second floor landing to the left is the very large private Master suite, decorated with designer linens. The on-suite Master Bath has a large glass block shower with double shower heads.
Also on the second floor are Bedrooms 2 and 3 with a Queen Bed each. A remodeled bath with tub/shower is just across the hall. Off the second floor, you will find a large deck with furniture giving you a great view onto the deep water canal below. You will also find a full size washer/dryer on this level.
On the ground level we have a patio area with outdoor furniture and a gas grill.
The double lot yard has a circular drive with plenty of parking. There is plenty of room to park boat trailers next to the house behind a tall fence. The large, canal-front concrete dock has a convenient insert to park boats. A fish cleaning station with fresh water is located on the dock. Additional storage is available for boat/fishing gear in the garage.
Linens, towels, dinnerware, glassware, cooking utensils, and some condiments included. Startup quantities of paper supplies, soap, laundry detergent, and garbage bags are supplied. We offer Direct TV and DVD players on both TVs in the Living Room and Family Room. We do not supply beach towels.
For your convenience (within two miles): Winn-Dixie grocery store, bait and tackle shop, dive shop, hardware store, liquor store, CVS Drug Store, convenience store, post office, great pizza delivery, great Chinese delivery, clothing stores, gas stations and marinas, boat rentals, beaches and uninhabited islands, only living coral reef in North America.
