Our vacation home offers a great opportunity for a family and/or friends to share an extended vacation. The house is nearly new...we finished constructing the custom one-story, 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom home in September 2007. It is about 2027 square feet. The open living room, dining and kitchen areas provide plenty of room for socializing. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel, gourmet-quality appliances. The granite cooking island doubles as a wine bar. The living room includes a gas fireplace for cool nights. Comfort is the theme.
The large master suite offers a private whirlpool bath and shower. Rounding out the main floor is are two quest bedrooms, one with a queen bed, and a private bath, the other with a bunk bed, and pull out single twin. Another bathroom off this bedroom is a great asset.
The home is in the prestigious, gated, Foxwood Community which features private tennis courts, a basketball court, walking paths, a park, and a kid's playground.
The renowned, eighteen-hole Baily Creek golf course is just across the street from the Foxwood community. Just down the street is Lake Alamanor's Peninsula Village which offers, quaint shops, restaurants, and equipment rentals for everything from jet skis to water skiing.
Whether boating or fishing, Lake Almanor is hard to beat. The lake and surrounding streams are prized for trout, land-locked Chinook salmon and large and small-mouthed bass fishing.
Winter snow season is roughly November through April and miles of snowmobile and cross-country ski trails await the adventurer. Snowmobiles and equipment can be rented and the snowmobile head trail is across the street from our community.
Reno/Tahoe attractions, casinos, entertainment and downhill ski resorts are about 1 1/2 hour drive.
