Por Fin Tres Palmas is an awesome property. You can't get any closer to the beach (without the need of an anchor!). The sound of the ocean by the pool, the terrace, and even in the rooms, is just amazing. Great house layout is perfect for up to three couples (each room has a private bathroom). Beachfront, pool, terrace, sunset, and a grill! What else can you ask for?Owner response: Thank you, thank you, thank you! It was great having you. Thanks for taking care of the sink etc. We appreciate your care and hope to have you back soon. Anna and Steve.

The only thing wrong with this place was the toaster ... it doesn't toast both sides of the bread... but if you are going to Puerto Rico for the toast then you might want to re-evaluate your vacation plans. Seriously though we thoroughly enjoyed this home by the ocean. It was fantastic to be able to wake up to the sound of crashing waves, walk out onto the back porch, past the in ground pool, out the back gate onto the beach and straight into the ocean for a morning snorkel. Things to know; 1.The beach is beautiful but bring some booties for walking in the water as there is plenty of coral and other non foot friendly life. 2. I already mentioned the toaster. 3. Puerto Rico has lizards and other wildlife that seemed to have no problem wandering up onto the porch or through the lawn so have your camera handy. 4. Mangos are every where so don't park under a mango tree. 5. The entrance to Por Fin Tes Palmas looks a bit wild but there really is a wonderful vacation home at the end of the road. 6. The drive from the airport in San Juan took us about 2.5 hours but the directions are sound and we did it mostly in darkness. 7. It is really nice to have a pool out back even though you are right on the beach. This pool is not for swimming laps but wonderful to soak in. 8. If you try to find this house on Google Earth know that Google has not updated their image of this area in years. 9. There are at least 3 local restaurants within easy walking distance and a public beach more suitable for simple wading. 10. Puerto Rico like all tropical locations does have its share of sun and mosquitoes so bring plenty of sunscreen and bug spray as both can be very expensive when purchased locally. Anna and her son Ryan made everything quite wonderful for our stay and Ryan was there when we needed him to open a door we accidently locked. Will we look to rent this home the next time we vacation in Puerto Rico ? the answer to that question is a resounding yes. Rent this home with confidence and enjoy your stay.Owner response: Ahhh...thank you!!! I will be sure to get a new toaster. LOL

This review is long overdue. We stayed at Casa Por Fin Tres Palmas back in April 2012 and had a lovely time! We were three couples and a baby. The house is beautiful and you can't get any closer to the beach. The views from the porch are absolutely breathtaking. We practically had a private beach during our visit- we would walk for what seemed like forever and rarely see another person. The beach is fairly rocky but it is beautiful and the snorkeling right in front of the house is just incredible. We saw lots of tropical fish and huge sea turtles. We loved using the grill for lunches and dinners and eating outside on the deck. The shipwreck bar & grill down the street was also great. The pool was fantastic- very refreshing after a day on the beach. We kept the french doors in the living room open to the deck and beach during the day (bedroom doors closed) so we did have some wildlife come inside (bugs, lizards, birds). But hey that's beach living! Ana was great to work with and was available whenever we had questions. I would highly recommend this home for a beach vacation!Owner response: Thank you! I guess it is time to come back since you are thinking of Rincon??? We would love to have you! Anna

We've just returned from our amazing, affordable vacation in Rincon for which we stayed at Casa Por Fin Tres Palmas. This little house was perfect for our family of 2 couples, 1 toddler, mother and daughter. Having 3 bathrooms was a huge bonus, as was the gorgeous setting. Anna, the owner, is a wonderfully responsive host, and she worked with us well above and beyond anything I would've expected given our ridiculous travel schedule! Why it gets 5 stars from me: 1. Anna & Sebastian (caretaker)'s amazing hospitality and responsiveness were tremendous. 2. LOCATION. It's on the beach in a quiet part of town. It's pretty rare to see anyone else on the beach, so it's nearly private. Then, there's Shipwreck around the corner, which has pretty fantastic fresh food - and you can get there by walking on the beach. 3. We thought about recording the sounds around us and selling them - it's that wonderful. From the coquis to the rolling, crashing waves, it was gorgeous. A few minor concerns: 1. I wish there were a/c in the living room. It got so hot that we wanted to keep the doors open (front and back) for crosswinds, but when we did, we introduced so many bugs, birds (yes! they came inside!) lizards and other animals into the property that it became a nuisance, which meant that we had to keep the doors closed. We were reluctant to do this because we then had to open the bedroom doors to let in the a/c we would've rather not run, which allowed more bugs into our bedrooms, etc. Little gnats lived in one of our bathrooms' sink drains, and that was pretty irritating. (But not too irritating to cause a real problem for our vacation. It just turns out that the house is in a remote setting on the beach, and that's what you deal with in such a place. We lived!) 2. One of the bedrooms has a mattress that really needs replacing; it has a deep depression in the middle, as if it's been folded in half too many times. 3. The fitted sheets aren't quite deep enough for the beds, which meant that we had to constantly struggle to keep the sheets in place while sleeping. 4. The photographs here show a set of glass french doors in the living room, but the owners have had to replace them with solid doors, which is too bad because it obstructs the gorgeous view of the outside. 5. One of the LR ceiling fans was broken, and even though a floor fan was provided, it didn't make up for the loss of circulation. Overall, beautiful!!Did you find this review helpful? We had a fantastic time at Por Fin Tres Palmas. The house was very comfortable and spacious for our group of six (3 couples). The kitchen was also well equipped which was nice since we like to cook. There was a mango tree in the front of the house that would drop fresh, sweet, delicious mangos every hour or so....it was great! Having your own privatepool was also a huge plus. The best part about the house, however, was the location. Tres Palmas is a marine preserve and there is a beautiful coral reef right there. The snorkeling was awesome! We went at least once a day. There was a wide variety of tropical fish and coral and the visibility was great. We even saw sea turtles on numerous occasions. There is also a sandy beach good for swimming just a short walk away. We are already planning our return!Owner response: OMG thank you!!! Anna

We stayed at Casa por Fin Tres Palmas while attending a friend's destination wedding in Rincon. As we pulled up to the villa, we knew it was going to be a great time. The house is right on the beach and the backyard is where the good stuff happens: grilling, drinks at the sunset bar, sleeping in the hammock and of course the pool. The pool is incredibly key, it was the center of the fun and was in use nearly 24 hours a day. The amenities at the villa were great having everything we needed including A/C, washer/dryer, dishwasher, iron, internet, cable tv and a fridge large enough for several cases of beer. The location is awesome too in that it is right next to a dive school, some awesome restaurants and bars (we went to Shipwreck twice) and is a short walk to some good swimming beaches. Also is a very short drive into town to stock up on supplies. We were 7 in our group and the villa comfortably held all of us (with 1 on the pullout couch). All the wedding guests who came over to hang out told us that we had the best villa they had seen on the trip. I did a ton of research when we were looking for a place to stay and there are 3 things that stood out at Tres Palmas that made it a no-brainer for the price: 1. Bathrooms: the villa has three bedrooms each with a full bath. This is actually quite difficult to find in Rincon as most places we saw were 2 bathrooms for houses of 6-8 people which would have been gross. 2. Beachfront with Pool: this is actually super important because it isn't very safe to go ocean swimming at night with the undertow, stones and lack of lighting. But a pool party always keeps the night going with the sound of surf in the background. Very few places I saw were beachfront with a sizeable pool. 3. Location: the villa's location was perfect. Close enough to the town but away from the traffic. Very quick drive to the lighthouse and all the surf spots and restaurants on the way. And above all: walking distance to a handful of great bars and restaurants so you can have a good time out and not worry about driving back to the villa. Anna, the proprietor, was very easy to work with and highly responsive and everything at the villa came as promised. Also, her colleague Ryan was available in Rincon to help us out with anything that came up (like when we couldn't figure out the grill). If you have at least 6 people and are looking for a great place to stay in Rincon, no need to look any further than here.Owner response: Wow! Thank you. This will give other guests a real good feel for the house and the area. Than you all! We loved having you. Anna and Ryan too.

Six adults and two toddlers had a wonderful vacation in this well-appointed house. The owner made sure we had what we needed for the tots; each bedroom had an accompanying bathroom, the pool was a perfect counterpoint to the beach which was only 50 yards away. Spectacular sunsets graced our patio dinner each night. The snorkeling was terrific. Will return for sure!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

My husband and I, along with two great friends, were blessed to find this rental property online. We spent an entire week enjoying the sun and exploring the beach. Thanks to Anna's directions (we drove from San Juan) getting to the house was easy. Por Fin Tres Palmas was everything we hoped for (and yes, even more)! The house was beautiful, very clean and ready for our visit. We used the grill every day, the pool was perfect when the surf was high and we LOVED the "bar" on the wall overlooking the ocean. Honestly, we spent more time watching the ocean than any other activity. We were lucky enough to see turtles, dolphins, whales and plenty of surfers! The lighthouse in Rincon was very close and definately worth the visit. Shipwreck Bar & Grill was right around the corner with good food and friendly service. This was our first visit to Puerto Rico but definately not our last. Thank you Anna and Steve for the great experience...we will see you again!!!!Owner response: Ah! thank you Angela. See you again real soon. PS keep buying those lottery tickets!

This house was just fantastic for our group of 6 (2 grandparents, 2 parents, 2 kids). Everything was as advertised and more. The pool was gorgeous with a waterfall and the kids and grandma spent all day there. The beach was as private as could be, sandy, and beautiful. We snorkeled right off the beach and saw lots of fish, even a sea turtle! Best of all was the sense of privacy with the beautiful landscaping. Thanks so much and we hope to be back next year.Recommended for: People with disabilities, families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car.

...,and the reason is selfish, really. I do not want this little gem in Rincon be discovered. We had a phenomenal time during our stay. Everything from the cleanliness of the whole house and grounds, perfectly working air conditioners, comfortable beds, spacious rooms, great Wi-Fi connection, the perfect pool and of course, snorkeling a few feet away from the house. It is private but still in good proximity to restaurants and diving facilities. The only regret we had was we didn't stay long enough. The kids were really sad when left. We all thought that was our perfect vacation. We will definitely be back and for a longer stay. We have also recommended Casa Por Fin to our friends and relatives.... well, pretty much to anyone who would listen :) I will try to post some pictures as soon as I can. Thank you so much Anna and Steve.
