Description: Casita del Sol and Casita de la Luna (each one bedroom and one bath) are the epitome of the charming, authentic (original adobe) casitas which everyone looks for when visiting Santa Fe. They are located within a half mile walk of the center of old Santa Fe’s picturesque plaza.
In the summer enjoy our private walled garden with comfortable outdoor seating. In the winter, cozy up by your own kiva fireplace (wood provided). Both casitas are very private and quiet and both feature authentic hand-painted Mexican tile and coved ceilings with original vigas. Upon your arrival, you will find all the ingredients for a continental breakfast!
Amenities: Deep porches with comfortable benches. Private walled garden with comfortable seating. Furnished with hand-carved Southwestern style furniture. Each with a kiva fireplace and complimentary firewood. Cable TV, VCR, DVD, stereo CD player, DSL. Both feature fully equipped kitchen with stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, full size refrigerator, as well as all utensils, dishes, etc.
The bedrooms feature fine linens for a wonderful night’s sleep. There is a sleeper sofa in each living room. The sunny atmosphere is the result of skylights throughout both casitas and both are tastefully decorated with attractive artwork and hand-woven rugs. There is off-street parking available. Laundry facilities, iron and ironing board.
The casitas are maintained with care and pride and we have lots of return guests!
Casita de la Luna is approximately 830 square feet and features:
· Wood floors in living room and bedroom; tile in bathroom
· Large spa tub in bathroom
· Inviting king size bed in the bedroom with iron headboard and footboard
· Full sleeper sofa in the living room
Casita del Sol is approximately 600 square feet and features:
· Brick floors throughout with radiant heat in the floor (very cozy!)
· Beautiful hand carved headboard with a queen size bed in the bedroom
· Full sleeper sofa in the living room
· Small private outdoor seating area with table and chairs
Area:
Casita del Sol and Casita de la Luna are located in the historic Guadalupe district. It is a short walk to the Santuario de Guadalupe, the Georgia O’Keefe Museum, the Museum of Fine Arts, Palace of the Governors, etc. Restaurants within easy walking distance include the Cowgirl Hall of Fame, the well known Coyote Café, the renowned Pink Adobe, as well as many others. There are many shops and galleries filled with lots of interesting and attractive merchandise.
Ideally suited for a family with multiple members to rent both casitas simultaneously.

Minimum Stay - 1 week
Cancellation Policy:
High Season Rentals - (June, July, August, September and holiday periods) Minus a 15% charge, deposits for high season rentals will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 60 days prior to arrival date. If notice of desire to cancel is made 60 days or less for high season rentals, the deposit will be refunded only if the casita can be re-rented.
Other Rental Times - Minus a 15% charge, deposits for other rental times are refundable if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to arrival date. With notification of desire to cancel 30 days or less before arrival, the deposit will be refunded only if the casita can be re-rented.
