“Cascade” is a 5 bedroom, 4 ½ bath home with sparkling heated pool and waterfall spa that sleeps 12-16 in a quiet gated community. This property is truly family-friendly.

This "Desert Luxury Vacations" home is 3,650 sq. ft. located in the La Quinta and Palm Springs area. This property has met the high standards of amenities and cleanliness that all houses from Desert Luxury Vacations offer.

It has 5 total bedrooms…3 are suites with King beds and private attached bathrooms; one bedroom has 2 XL twins which can be make into a King, and the other bedroom has two Twin bunk-beds that sleeps 4 total. All bedrooms have TV’s and DVD’s, telephone, I-Pod docking station/Clock Radio and ceiling fans. Also available: two deluxe Queen raised-height Aero-beds and an available Nursery set-up with crib, high-chair and baby monitor.

Cascade features reclining leather couch in the Family Room, 50” wide screen High-definition Plasma TV, DVD, VHS, & gas fireplace. The home sound system allows you to play your favorite music from CD’s or your I-Pod in different rooms of the home and even out by the pool. Watch classic & current hit movies from the in-home movie library.

There is sit down seating inside the home for 18 people total: 6 in the formal dining room; 6 in the breakfast nook; 3 at the kitchen bar counter, and 3 at the game table in the music room. Outdoors, there is seating for 8.

The fully-equipped gourmet kitchen features slab granite counters, a cooking grotto with 5-burner gas cook top and pot-filler, refrigerator, dishwasher, garbage disposal, double-oven, microwave, and butlers pantry. Lots of dishes to clean? Not to worry…there are TWO top of the line Fisher & Paykel dishwashers. They are nice and quiet, so as not to disturb the after-dinner movie. The morning room/nook adjoins the kitchen with a table that seats 6. There is bar stool seating at the counter for three more people.

Relax on the large back patio area around the private and heated pool, with a tanning shelf/wading area for the smaller children, a raised spa with stack stone waterfall spillway, and in-home controller that allows you to control all pool and spa functions from inside the house, and gives you a digital read-out of the pool temperature, the spa temperature and the outside air temperature. An optional child-safety pool fence can be set-up before your arrival to keep young children safe in the backyard when you don’t want to play lifeguard. This pool also features the Jandy Aqua-Pure system for perfect pool water naturally. This is the healthier alternative to chlorine!

When they are not swimming, the kids will enjoy a large grass yard and a great 6’x 8’ sand play area complete with sand toys and a water faucet. They can play for hours building roads, tunnels and sandcastles.

Everyone in your group will spend some quality time in the spacious Cascade Music Room which includes a full-size piano and electronic drum set. Not musically inclined? Sure you are. Try Guitar Hero III on the Nintendo Wii Gaming System! Sing along with your friends on the Karaoke machine. Don’t forget to hit the ‘Record’ button in case you lay down a track that could be your big break! Interactive group DVD games such as ‘Scene It’ are available and can be played on the big screen in the music room or great room.

The Master Suite has a private bath area with dual sinks & vanity, an oversize custom tiled door-less shower & a soaking tub with tile surround and steps. The extra-large walk-in closet can be set up as an adjoining nursery with crib and baby monitor. A door leads from the Master Suite to the adjoining bedroom #2 which has 2 XL-Twin beds & double French doors leading out to a private patio.

Bedroom #3 features two bunk-beds which sleeps 4 children. Bedroom #4 is a suite with a King bed. Both have HDTV.

The attached Casita (bedroom #5) is entered from the front courtyard and features a large separate bedroom with a King bed for maximum privacy, a ceiling fan with adjustable speeds & dimmer lighting. There is an HD TV with DVD & VCR. The large front windows look out to the enclosed courtyard and the Santa Rosa Mountains.

The patio area has a professional grade high pressure misting system that will cool you down at the flick of a switch! Connect your iPod to the home audio system, turn on the patio speakers & mister system. Relax with a good book under the blue sky on a lounge chair by the pool…until you take the steaks off the outdoor BBQ grill. As an extra bonus, all 2008 bookings at Cascade will receive one complimentary 60-minute in-home professional massage. . . one more reason to make “Cascade” your favorite desert getaway!

This truly one of a kind home is beautifully upgraded and finished with custom paint, granite & tile work. It sits on a large 1/3 acre interior lot with maximum privacy for outdoor entertaining, dining, lounging and swimming. The dramatic night lighting comes on automatically.

  • We just came back from a week stay at your lovely home. What a great place. We had three families all with little ones. The house was the perfect size, the pool was incredible, and the backyard, complete with sandbox, was better than we could have imagined. We loved all of the extra touches such as the ice cream maker and device that turned hot dogs into an octopus. The kids loved it. We can't wait to return and would recommend this place to everyone!

    What a pleasure to stay in such a fantastic house! We had a wonderful week. It was so fun to keep discovering "hidden treasures" like the sandbox, the game/music room, the pool, the SPACE! Where can 11 people stay together but still have their own private retreats? We had a great time discovering gadgets in the kitchen: the octopus hot dog maker, the ice cream maker and griddle.
