Great house with fantastic location. The views are spectacular and feature both ocean views and sound views. When you do decide to get off the beach you can relax and enjoy a spectacular sunset over the sound from your deck. Every room has a television and access to a deck. The pool for the development is less than 100 yards from the house. The house sits on a cul de sac road so there is no through traffic and the beach access is across the street. The development also has tennis courts.
The house is equipped with a grill, full kitchen, fireplace, wireless internet and has everything you need for a memory filled beach vacation. Great beaches, few crowds, surfing, fishing, playing in the surf, dolphins swimming by are just a few of the reasons why vacationers love North Topsail Beach. Tired of the beach enjoy some great seafood at one of the local restaurants, take a trip up the intracoastal waterway, play a round of golf or visit the sea turtle hospital. Your memories from here will last a lifetime.
Please note that all summer weeks are on a Saturday to Saturday rental schedule, this includes the week prior to and the week of July 4.
Fireworks in Surf City are on July 3 and firewroks for Sneads Ferry are typically on July 4.

Why the Owner Chose North Topsail Beach
This was the site of our first family reunion after all of my siblings reached adulthood and starting have families of thier own. The first reunion led to two of my siblings building homes in N. Topsail beach. After that the rest is history. We continue to use N. Topsail Beach as the gathering place for all our family reunion.
A large number of us meet down there throughout the year and at least every other year we have a major family gathering with Aunts & Uncles included. Our numbers have swelled to as many as 36-40 family mebers. What started off as beach vacations to Cpae Cod evolved into a family continuing the legacy of wonderful beach vacations that my parents, aunts, uncles children, nieces and nephews have enjoyed. The memories are countless.
Our family is spread out along the east coast. It has given us a central meeting place to create memories. All of the cousins have a chance to connect and really get to know each other as well as become very close to their grandparents.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The greatest part of the island is the lack of commercial development. When we go to the beach it's about family and friends and sharing time with them. We are not running off to an arcade or movie. It is the simple activities we enjoy; playing in the surf, taking walks, enjoying cocktail hour on the beach with lots of snacks or simply playing jail break at night.
The pool has been great for my parents and the younger kids. My parents can no longer get into the ocean due to their age so the pool is wonderful alternative for them.

Owning Southern Wynds is a family affair. The property is owned with two other brothers and my parents. My parents had 8 children and growing up our summer vacations were usually a trip to Cape Code or the beach with anywhere from a few to as many as eight kids. It was always an adventure. Depsite the colder NE water and frequent rainy days, us children always had a great time on vacation. (I'm not sure my parents always shared our excitement, especially on those rainy days at the beach.) What we value most is the memories that we were able to create on our beach vacations.
