Stay in a warm, cozy, award-winning, historic 3 bedroom, 1 bath Miner's Cabin -located just one block from historic Old Town Main Street! Restaurants, theaters, shopping and skiing are just beyond your front door. Take advantage of the Free Main Street shuttle to the "Town Lift" and the central city bus station is just steps away.
Deer Valley Resort, The Canyons, Sundance venues, Outlet malls, live theatre and the movies can be reached by taking the city bus from the charming terminal located just a couple of blocks away.
One bedroom has King bed, Second has Queen, and the third has bunk with a twin bed over a double. Quality linens are on every bed and make it VERY plush. There are flat screen TVs with DVD players in each bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with a breakfast table that sits 4. The covered back porch is the perfect place for a drink before dinner at one of the award-winning restaurants on Main Street.

Why the Owner Chose Private Homes
Shortly after 9/11 we decided to take time with our family and go on a sailing adventure with our two children, ages 2 and 5 years. Our original plan was to sail for two years and then return to our home. The two year plan has since been extended to the present and will continue until our thirteen year old enters high school in the fall of 2010. We have had the wonderful opportunity to sail through the Bahamas, Caribbean, and Mediterranean Seas. Our ambition is to go through the Panama Canal and across the Pacific next spring. When we return from sailing we look forward to making Park City our primary residence. In the meantime we’ve decided to rent our home and so far it has worked beautifully! We have been able to share our home with others, pay for some of the overhead and enjoy staying in our “tree house” when in Park City.

When we first visited Park City in 2007 we fell in love with the town’s historic charm and incredible skiing. From our front door it is just one block to the trolley which takes you to the town lift. Which, "at the base of a 3100 ft vertical drop, you'll find an extraordinary place to land" makes for an appropriate town slogan! Furthermore, there are the year round cultural events, such as Artstravaganza in August and the renowned Sundance Film Festival in February. These events bring a wide selection of international travelers to Park City, which creates a cosmopolitan vibe not often found in small towns. In addition to the cultural events there are activities for each season like horseback riding, mountain biking, golf, ice skating, cross-country skiing, and there are hot springs and great hikes year round. Park City just has so much to offer; I often find myself wondering what am I not going to do today?
