All About Fun is a cozy, fully furnished beach cottage with three bedrooms and two full baths. It is a pastel cottage located in The Rookery. This quaint community offers hiking trails, two pools (one with zero entry and a Tiki bar), outdoor jacuzzi, tennis courts and an area with grills and picnic tables.
A screened porch offers a quiet retreat to enjoy all the sights and sounds of nature.
All About Fun is located just off Ft. Morgan Rd. (Hwy. 180) at mile marker 6. Our cottage is on the second turn to the left, just before the bridge. There is parking on either side of the house. There are several locations designated for boat and trailer parking, one is just across the bridge from our house!
To get to the beach, cross Ft. Morgan Rd. and take a left on Cortez. The beach is straight ahead!
There are TVs in the living room and master bedroom which are connected to Direct TV. There is a DVD/VCR player, a fully equipped kitchen, full sized washer and dryer, iron and ironing board. Linens are provided.
The Rookery is adjacent to the Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge offering opportunities to observe wildlife in their natural setting. After a short drive you can visit historical Fort Morgan, take the Ft. Morgan ferry to Dauphin Island and visit the Sea Lab and Fort Gaines.
You can have fun in Gulf Shores on a hot day playing in the water at Waterville, play putt-putt golf, shop and ride the ferris wheel at the Wharf, go to the track and ride go carts, go to the movies, visit the zoo, shop at the outlets in Foley, and eat at many varied restaurants.
There are several great places to eat within a few minutes of the cottage. There are a couple of small grocery stores in the area. You can use the free boat launch only two miles away or play golf on some beautiful, well-known courses.
Come join the fun and activity, sun on the beach or by the pool, or just relax on the porch and read a good book! You might even take a nap!
