How do you travel a million miles in a little over an hour? An easy drive north from the DFW metroplex and you will find yourself in another world. Hustle and bustle are nowhere in sight. Sirens and traffic jams are far behind you. All you can hear is the serenity of nature and the occasional hum of a passing boat.

At The Lakehouse on Texoma, you can go swimming, boating, fishing, golfing or do absolutely nothing at all. The choice is yours. You will find our house comfortable and accommodating whether you are having an adult getaway or a family vacation. Behaved pets are also welcome.

Your "home away from home" consists of 3 bedrooms and 3 baths, full kitchen, wood-burning stove and family room overlooking the back deck. The Lakehouse is about 100 yards from the lake and backs up to heavily treed Corp of Engineer land giving you just enough seclusion while being close to the lake.

    • We love this place! The house is cozy yet spacious. It makes the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city and it's only an hour (at most) away. I love running on the myriad trails and we both love spending the evening sipping wine on the GIANT patio. Although we haven't had much luck fishing (admittedly we're not the best fishermen - I hear bait helps), the lake is always a blast! We'll definitely be back; thanks Heather!

    • What a great house!?! We had the best weekend with our two boys. The house is incredibly comfortable and accommodating. We especially loved sitting on the back deck enjoying a fire in the chiminea. We will definitely be back!
