The owners- Bruce and Alina- were extremely pleasant and easy to deal with. The condo itself was picturesque, certainly one of the most beautiful and well kept in Kamaole Sands. We stayed for 8 days, greatly enjoying the additinal privacy afforded us by the more secluded location of building 8. A quick walk through the scenic grounds at Kamole Sands takes you to the private swimming facilities where we met many other couples from all over Canada and the United States. Everyone was very friendly and we paticularly enjoyed the mai-tai party which takes place every wednesday at the swimming facilities. A short 2 min walk takes you to the ocean, with warm calm beaches just in front of the condo complex. Already provided in the condo for us were many items useful for beach excursions, including coolers, additional towels, frisbee and other items you woud likely want with you on the beach but not want to pack along in your luggage. The condo interior was modern and luxurious, with easily cleaned tile floors and all granite counter tops. Appliances were all new and clean, everything worked just as it should. Within a couple of days of staying we could easily imagine ourselves never leaving, findng the condo comfortable and homey. All in all the best vacation in Hawaii we have had yet, thanks largely to Bruce and Alina. We have recommended this condo to all our friends and family expressing interest in a Hawaiian vacation. We (me, my wife, 4 year old son and 2 year old daughter) stayed in this condo from Sep 26 to Oct 6, 2011. The condo was great. It was clean, well furnished and had everything we needed for our vacation. We definitely recommend this condo and will choose it again in the future.

A & D were at our condo for 13 nights. Here is a review sent to us via e-mail: Hello! Your condo was beautiful. Home away from home. We enjoyed the condo and the grounds so much! The pool was so beautiful and we made friends with some of the grounds keepers! Mai Tai night was so much fun. It gave us a chance to meet people from everywhere! The location of you condo was quiet and the deck was tropical and lush. We ate breakfast on the lanai every morning and were breathtaken with all the plants, topical birds and gekos. It was nice to walk across the street to the beach which was beautiful! The water was warm and shallow. Thank you again for the use of your condo!

Hi wanted to write you sooner but haven't gotten the chance. We just wanted to let you know that my husband and I had such a fabulous time at your place. It was the vacation we dreamed of and a big part of that was because we were so comfortable in your unit. I can't tell you how nice it was to have all beach amenities right there for us to use each day, it made it so convenient! Everything was so peaceful and comfortable. We absolutely loved Maui and our location and can not wait to go back....ASAP!! Thanks again for all your helpful tips and for making things so easy with the vacation rental process. Our stay in this condo was Jan 15-27 2010. We were very pleased with the location which was close to the ocean and lots of ammenities. The condo was very clean and well supplied with kitchen utensils as well as towels. The bed was very comfortable and the deck was private surrounded by lush greenery. We definitely recommend this condo rental and will return to this condo again in the future.

Paul and Donna Z. was at our condo July 15th - July 23/09. They had the following comments regarding their stay: Thank you for the email. Unfortunately we had to come home from Maui, but the trip was more than wonderful thanks to both of you and your wonderful condo. We had the best time ever on the South shore of the island. Your home away from home was super. Very nicely decorated and the breezes thru it were very refreshing. In fact, we never used the A/C unless Donna was drying her hair. We had dinner on the lanai a couple of nights and it was a wonderful place to read a book at the end of the night. We did spend some time at Kapalua. Somemore relaxing and allot of golf at the resort. In all, our 14th trip to Maui was the best ever, again thanks to you. We are planning on returning next summer and would like to rent from you again. We are not sure of the dates as of now, but probably about the same time frame. We will get in touch in the fall when we book our flights. Have a wonderful finish to the summer and we will be in touch soon.

I would like to leave this feedback on your website for all future prospective guests to see: As you probably expect we had a absolutely wonderful Wedding and Vacation in Maui. Your unit at Kamaole Sands was gorgeous and had everything we needed. Coming to Maui (and your unit) for the very first time we didn't know exactly what to expect. We did a ton of research and chose your unit and Kamaole Sands from many available alternatives. We were glad we stayed at Kamaole Sands after seeing what some other complexes had available. We had many family members staying at Kamaole Sands as well and we found out that some other rental ads show only the good angles and amenities of the unit in their pictures. This was definitely not the case with your ad. Unit 8-203 at Kamaole Sands is completely upgraded as they describe with modern renovations throughout. You can definitely tell that the owners take pride in their unit. Some of our family paid a lot more for a lesser quality unit just so they could be in a building closer to the pool or ocean, but I would definitely not pay more for that after experiencing the layout of the complex. Building 8 is very close to the pool and grounds and provides a little more quiet on the balcony in the evening. Due to its location this unit does not get very hot throughout the day but if a person prefers it really cool there is great air conditioning in the main living room and bedroom. The queen sofa bed was a nice idea even though we didn't need to use it. Most other units have a cheap, uncomfortable, old wicker pull out bed. Some of our family members had some uncomfortable nights in other units. Everything we could have ever needed in Maui was in this unit. The owners have thought of everything. I hope that all the liquor we had to leave behind was left in the pantry by the cleaning staff for other guests to enjoy! Thanks again for having such a wonderful unit, it made our vacation in Maui relaxing and enjoyable!

The condo was beautiful, the people were warm, the location was amazing! In one week I think I visited just about every square inch of that island, and while I should have been exhausted, it was still a restful vacation because I was able to come back to that incredible condo. Traveling alone to a place like Maui isn’t the norm (and was a bit of a gamble) but I made so many new friends down at that hot tub I would gladly do it again (I’m going deep sea fishing in Alaska this summer because I met the right people!). Thank you both SO much. This was a life changing trip for me. Like so many people I met out there, Maui is now under my skin, and I will HAVE to go back. If there’s anyone who will take you up on your repeat visitor discount, it is DEFINITELY me. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

T and J stayed at our condo from Feb 6/09 to Feb 19/09 and had the following comment: Our stay in Maui was wonderful and your condo definitely felt like home during our time there. The location was perfect for walking to many destinations. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained and the pool area was perfect for lazy reading days. We never had to use the air while we were there, but just kept the front screen door and the slider to the lanai open for a perfect temperature. Everything in the condo was in very nice condition and we both found that there were plenty of cooking utensils and towels. We did notice that there were only tea cups for coffee so we bought a couple of coffee mugs and left them as a contribution for future guests to use. Our pleasure. I've already checked out your calendar for 2/2010, but noticed that regrettably that month is already taken. We come during that time because our daughter and her family live in Kihei and our son and his family who live in Alaska come at the same time. Perhaps in the future we will be able to stay with you again.Thank you again for making your Maui home available for others to enjoy.

The following guest comment was e-mailed to us and we thought to share this with everyone. "We had a great time in Maui and the condo was very good. It had lots of utensils for cooking which was great. I would say everything that we found was as advertised when we got there, which was good. One thing you could add in the information package that you sent was that there are sun umbrellas and a couple chairs and sand toys with buckets and shovels for our use. I know you had mentioned that there where things we could use, but we brought our own, because it wasn't very specific as to what the stuff was. Hope that makes sense. We didn't get maid service and the only thing that I thought you could have a few extras of was a couple of dish cloths and dish towels. With only one of each it was a challenge to get them washed and dried every few days. Other than these minor things we thought the grounds where well kept and enjoyed everything." Me and my wife were there (late Sept 08) for a week for our wedding in Maui. The owner was very prompt on replying my e-mails. Very very nice to work with. The condo itself and the whole property was very maintain. Check-in check-out was a breeze. The goodies (beach chairs, cooler, etc) were big plus! We use them everyday. We loved the BBQ area. One small thing is the ants in kitchen and bathroom sinks. Our guests one floor above did not have ant problem. But all in all, it was great and I will nevery stay in a hotel again if I go to Maui. Thank you for making our wedding speical.

The best way to maintain an ant-free environment is ensure all "sweet" foods are stored and disposed of properly. In this case, action has been taken to correct the situation. We had a PERFECT stay at your condo in Maui. The unit is very clean and well taken care of - it very evident that you take great pride in your condo. It is very nicely decorated and has everything a family would need (and more) as a home away from home. The added features of the Air Conditioning in both the bedroom and living room, as well as the i-Pod dock, the beach goodies, and all of the kitchen extras were very appreciated. We highly recommend this condo to anyone. Kamaole Sands is by far the best resort property in Kihei. The management company takes great care in the upkeep of the grounds. It is incredibly picturesque and has fantastic amenities (pool, bbq area, etc.). Thank you so much. We had an incredible vacation and would DEFINITELY stay at your condo again!
