We're only 5 minutes from historic Beaufort with its many shops, galleries and restaurants, 35 minutes from Hunting Island's 5,000 acre State Park with its long white beaches, public swimming beach, hiking and bird watching, and also minutes from the many islands that offer endless beautiful scenery, great galleries, antiquing, restaurants and gorgeous weather.
We would love to share our home with you; a renovated traditional, charming, roomy Port Royal home in the heart of Port Royal. All rooms are cheerfully decorated for comfort and relaxation to help make you feel at home. Come stay with us and enjoy the quiet and charm of Port Royal that we fell in love with. Friendly neighbors and town folk, church bells that ring at noon, birds that sing to bring in the new day, and peace and quiet greets you every day.
Take a short walk or safely bicycle to everything you need to relax and un-wind in a small friendly neighborhood atmosphere. Enjoy the local restaurants, our favorite coffee shop, walking trails, the water front that offers boat launch ramps, docks, amazing fishing, community Sands Beach, and a boardwalk with a look-out tower where you can watch the dolphins play in the water and the many varieties of birds fly over head. Enjoy the local activities or just relax on the large screened-in porch which overlooks the front garden. Your children can safely play in the large 1/2 acre rear yard.

- No Pets Allowed : Absolutely no pets permitted on the property. An additional cleaning fee of $200 will be imposed if this rule is not followed. This fee will be taken from your security deposit.
- Kid Friendly : Village of Port Royal is a small semi-closed community with very little traffic. We have a large rear yard for playing. Because our home is located on a dead end street there is very little traffic.
- Minimum Age Limit for Renters : 25 years old
- Smoking Not Allowed : Smoking is only permitted in the lawn and on the porch. An additional cleaning fee of $200 will be imposed if smoking occurs in the house. This fee will be taken from your security deposit.

Port Royal and the surrounding areas are truly a taste of the South. The pace and friendly people are a respite from our crazy Northeast life style. One day there and the tension melts away.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Port Royal village, where the house is located, is isolated from the roadways and commercial areas. Once you turn into the village off Route 802, there's a distinct atmosphere of calm, quiet and life at a much slower pace. There is no through traffic into the town; and, our home sits on a dead end street so there are very few cars that pass by the house any time of the day or night. Even so, if you want modern life's amenities, they're only a few minutes drive away.
The drive to the Parris Island entrance is less than 2 minutes from the house; you avoid all the traffic coming from the west, and avoid the heavy traffic coming from the Beaufort area.

We traveled down from Ohio for our sons USMC Boot camp graduation on Dec 2, 2011. We were so pleased to have this rental home! It was very clean and roomy and a great place for family and friends to gather to congratulate our new Marine! The BEST part was it was literally 2 minutes to PI entrance - avoided all traffic! The owners were very nice to work with and very accommodating! The huge screened porch would be wonderful in the warmer months - we didn't get to enjoy it as it was unseasonably cold while we were there! GREAT RENTAL! Would recommend to anyone going for PI graduation!

We just got back from staying at this rental house. Everything was just as described. Everything is very clean! The owners are great to work with, answering all questions quickly. I would recommend this house , especially if you're coming for a Marine graduation. It is super close to Parris Island. LOVED the huge screened front porch.

This a the best property if you are traveling to South Carolina for a Marine Corp graduation at Parris Island. It is super close to the base and allows you too get there quickly without much traffice. The house had everything we needed. It was very clean, comfortable and quiet. Be sure to visit the Dockside Restaurant just a few blocks away for excellent seafood. I would definitely recommend this property to a friend.

We enjoyed all the comforts of home while here for our newest Marine's graduation. We were really close to the MCRD! With really easy access, no traffic, and to and from in minutes. Also, very easy access to Beaufort and the surrounding area. The house was exactly as described, very comfortable and with lots of room. Local food was great and we found the boardwalk in Port Royal very relaxing. Enjoyed the historic bayfront and downtown Beaufort. My wife and I loved the old homes and architecture. Walking the bayfront and relaxing in one of the restaurants there was a real highlight of our visit. Also, next door neighbor was very friendly and helpful, with info about the area.

We want everyone to enjoy their stay at our home in an allergy free environment. As the proud owner of this home I want to reiterate that NO pets are permitted on the property whatsoever, and no smoking is permitted in the house. As our VRBO listing states, there will be an additional $300 cleaning fee to cover the additional expense of cleaning and sanitizing the house, porch and surrounding amenities. We thought it would be helpful and advantageous to post this warning to prevent future guests from incurring the additional cleaning fee. We want everyone to enjoy their stay.

This home in Port Royal is perfect for anyone attending a graduation on Parris Island. The house is in a quiet neighborhood. The access to Parris Island could not get any easier. We found the house super clean, everything in working order and very comfortable. The owners are very responsive to your questions. There were 7 of us with our new marine and we were very comfortable. I highly recommend this property!

We stayed from 5/11/11-5/16. The place was wonderful. Extremely convinent to Parris Island. If you are traveling for a graduation you couldn't find a better location. Great location though even if you are just visiting the area for vacation. It is close to Hunting Island State Park, which is amazing, and not a bad drive to Hilton Head (we hit both in our short time there). The home itself is well maintained and well equiped, you need only bring your personal items and the food you will use. Even the neighbors were friendly!

This was our second visit! Weather was hot, but the stay was awesome again. We know our way around a little better and your home is even more convenient than I remember. The neighbors were great -- Jack and Sam were fun--treated us like family. The maintenance guy was quick when we had the air problem and neighbors were awesome. Your were accommodating and quick to help! House was clean and inviting as always. Love this area. We may want to turn it into a lifestyle instead of a vacation. I don't want to leave!
