Why the Owner Chose SeaSide Villas
We first came to Hilton Head Island in 1998, fell absolutely in love with it, and have come back every year since. Each year, more of our family members join us, so when this villa came on the market, and the four of us, poolin our resources could afford it, we felt like the luckiest people in the world. HHI is such a wonderful family place, with its lush tropical ecology; beautiful sugar-sand beaches, and bike paths that encircle the entire island. It is a wonderful place to be for just a couple, with so many great restaurants to try; fun happy hour venues; world class golf courses and tennis clubs. It is a wonderful place to be for a family...swim, play in the sand, ride bikes, play miniature golf, sing with Gregg Russell at Harbour Town at night.....It's a wonderful place to "snowbird" as it rarely ever goes below freezing in the winter, so with a light jacket, outdoor sports are always available, walks on the beach, and beautiful winter sunrises/sunsets. Sure beats the weather in Indiana and Chicago in January!

Beach, pool, biking, golfing, tennis, eating, drinking....what more can I say? Riding your bike on the beach is probably one of the most unique experiences on HHI.

Four of us own Seaside Villa #141 together. Two sisters, Barb Swanson and Kathy Butler, and our spouses, John Genito and Jerry Butler. Barb and John live just outside of Chicago, in Northwest Indiana, and travel to Hilton Head at least 6-7 times per year. Both of us are retired and serve on the board of directors for Seaside Villas.
Kathy and Jerry are realtors in Dublin (suburb of Columbus), Ohio, and only get to the island once per year now. They plan to spend much more time there when they retire.

The condo is really pretty and well equiped. The sun is coming in. It is clean and comfortable. We see the ocean and the beach is at two step. At that time of the year, it is really quiet and the weather is fantatic. The owners of the appartment are answering very kickly.

We had a wonderful time. It was nice, clean, and tastefully decorated. Kitchen fully loaded, but we ate out mostly from the list provided by the owners of their favorite spots - from Diners to Fine Dining, they were all great. Condo was the perfect size for a couple. We had excellent weather; got in the ocean every day and never saw a cloud. There's nothing like a cool ocean breeze . . . . Can't wait to go back!

This was our first year staying in this unit however I've stayed at Sea Side Villas for many years. I can say this unit has been the nicest of them all. The unit was extremely clean upon our arrival. Dealing with the owners was also a great pleasure as well as the rental agency. We have four in our family and I feel that is about the maximum I would have staying as the unit is fairly small. The bed was comfortable however the the roll out sofa was only so-so comfortable. Looking from the from door is a nice view of the pool. From the balcony you have a somewhat view of the ocean. This unit was also well supplied for all your kitchen needs. For a small family of four or less I high recommend this villa.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, people with disabilities, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children.

We stayed at Seaside 141 the last week of June 2011 and it was just what we needed. It was just as described and the pictures were accurate as well. It was sparkling clean and had everything we needed for our week at the beach. We could see the beach from our balcony and loved not having to walk far to hit the sand since that was the whole point of our trip. The grounds were well kept and we saw a security guy walking around in the evenings several times. This IS a small condo, but it was exactlly right for the 2 of us. The bed was comfortable as were the couch and recliner in the living area, however we spent very little time inside. The beach was so nice and the sun deck was a nice spot to sit in the evening. This was our second trip to HH. We stayed in Palmetto Dunes the first time, and we liked this location so much better. Closer to everything but still private and quiet. The first couple days we were there there was a large group enjoying the pool and they were rather noisy but the pool closed promptly at 9 PM so it was not a problem for us at all. I wondered if it would be a pain to do laundry down the hall, but it was just fine and the laundry area was clean and well maintained. We plan to visit Seaside 141 again and if our family joins us, we hope we can get another Seaside unit for them to stay in as well.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, age 55+.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at your condo. Thank you for renting it to us. The jasmine and honeysuckle were in bloom and that made riding the bicycles around even more amazing. The condo was clean and comfortable and we had everything we needed. We would definitely like to come back.

The Good: -- awesome location. It's a good enough walk to Coligny Plaza to give you some exercise but is far enough away to not have to deal with the traffic. -- the walk to the beach is short & easy. Down a flight of stairs, across the parking lot & boardwalk to the beach. It's maybe 3-4 minutes. -- the provided bikes are of good quality & located close to the unit. The bike path starts directly across the street from the condo entrance. -- the deck overlooks the parking lot but has a good view of the ocean. There is a ceiling fan that helps to stir the air while on the deck. -- the front entrance overlooks the pool which is probably nice if you have younger children & want to go to look for them every so often -- the unit is fully renovated with a well stocked kitchen. The decorating is updated & very nice. The Not-So-Good: -- this not a "quite" unit. The maintenance people start up with the blowers each morning at about 8:00 am. Because this unit is directly over the parking lot & pool area then you hear EVERYTHING that's going on outside. -- the under building parking that's shown in the ad is not a guaranteed space. There are only a few spots & none of the spots are reserved or designated. -- the air conditioning system is a wall unit & doesn't circulate well to the bedroom. It's at furthest spot from the bedroom. The bed room is roasting while the living room/kitchen combo is freezing.

Our first visit to HHI was very enjoyable and so was the accommodation. Everything needed for a nice beach vacation was available-beach proximity, bicycles, view of the ocean,etc..The beach chairs were the only small drawback as they are not suited for comfort, specially fo older adults. The rest was very nice and we will be returning back next year.
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, sightseeing, age 55+.

This is our first winter visit to HHI and have made ourselves at home in this Sea Side Villa. It's comfortable for the two of us. We're here for February. The pictures of this villa and description of the condo are accurate. It was clean upon arrival and I can't help but notice the daily growns up keep. We enjoy the balcony. Our view is across the parking lot, board walk and beyond the ocean. Two palmetto trees frame the balcony. The kitchen is efficient and equipped. There is a scaled down frig, stove and dish washer and a full size microwave. The washer and dryer are on the same floor down the hall. It's one dollar for the washer and .50 for a 60 minute dryer load. There is plenty of closet space for us. One thing that surprised me was as you walk into the condo you are directly in the bedroom. That gives me the incentive to make the bed everyday:) We take the steps but the elevator is close by and we did us it when we arrived with our luggage. The pool hasn't been used much but there are a few brave sunbathers out. We did have unseasonably warm mid 70's temp Sunday. We brought our bikes and there is a bike rack to park them. Coligny shopping is an easy walk. We do allot of walking and biking. There are several grocery stores within walking distance. Would I rent this condo again? Absolutely.
