Lake Metonga and its crystal clear waters that offer year round activities. Swimming, boating/skiing & tubing, and fishing are no problem on this 2,157 acre (approx. 3 miles by 1.5 miles) lake. The boat landing is less than 1 mile away.
Fall offers great views of the amazing and colorful fall foliage. If you're looking for winter activities we are located right on the snowmobile trail and ice fishing is abundant.

As a resident of northern Wisconsin, I fully understand peoples connection to the outdoors and water. I enjoy sitting by the campfire watching the sunset over the lake, taking a long slow boat ride on a warm summer night, and listening to the sound of the loons as I fall asleep. Imagine a lifestyle where your favorite outdoor pursuits are always within reach. The Northwoods region of Wisconsin is today one of the most cherished vacation destinations in the Midwest. Nice View, But That's About It

We went up for our anniversary and were very excited to have a relaxing weekend on the lake. It was anything but. First, be sure of what cabin you're getting. We were going by the pictures of the the one with the fireplace and loft. Instead we got the small one with the sunken bed, broken couch, and noisy vents. When we pulled in it was difficult to get to our parking spot because of the bar traffic, and yes, the cabin is directly next to a bar. The first thing we noticed was that the door had a window with no curtain that looked straight into the living room. Luckily there were enough towels to hang from the door and cover that up. Then we went to sit down and relax on the couch/hide a bed and it sank so far that I needed help to get off of it. After finally deciding to just call it a night, my wife and I went to lay in the bed and immediately rolled into the middle. Meanwhile, the vent had something in it that sounded like a rodent scratching. If it hadn't stopped when we turned off the heat I would have been a little more worried. The next morning we were woke up (much earlier that we had intended on be awake) by gunshots from the hunters on the lake. I don't blame the owners for that part. Overall we were unsatisfied and felt that we wasted money that could have been used on something a little more relaxing.

Our family had such a wonderful time staying at your cabin. It was so relaxing watching the sunsets each night. We enjoyed a beautiful day boating and fishing on Lake Metonga. Shelly and Kevin, you both were so hospitable, flexible and great hosts (even though you are Packers fans:)) Thank you for a great weekend!
