The home has 100 ft. of Lake Michigan frontage at the mouth of the Grand Traverse Bay. It overlooks the Leelanau Peninsula and the Fox Islands. At night you can see the light house at Leelanau State Park flickering in the distance. The home is located in the quaint village of Norwood, just 8 miles south of Charlevoix and 45 minutes north of Traverse City.
Under 20 steps and you are on the beach! Our beach has sand/rocks and is private. The water is crystal blue and nature is at its best. The home is located on a secluded, dead end road which offers some of the finest views for casual walks and wildlife viewing. There is a county park a half mile north which connects to Fisherman's Island State Park. There is a wooded lot north of the house which adds to your privacy.
The home has two bedrooms and one bathroom. One room features a queen size bed facing the water and the second has two twin beds. The upstairs sleeping loft has 5 single beds as well as a pull out sofa. New carpet and interior paint throughout.
