Why the Owner Chose West Hollywood
I raised my daughter in this house and started a little business making baby shoes. The business grew and we moved to Santa Barbara. We loved it here and found the neighborhood charming and safe, I never want to sell this house. We poured much love into the remodel and will always keep this home for friends and relatives that need their LA Home!
The Unique Benefits at this House
Location! Location! Location! Located right by the best walking area of West Hollywood (between Santa Monica Blvd. and Melrose), this house is exactly where you should be in Los Angeles! That is, close to the Sunset strip, the shops, the restaurants and the nightlife and just a few minutes away from Beverly Hills and Hollywood! The house which was custom redone in 2008-- with its combination of old world architecture with modern updates; hickory hard wood floor; Venetian plaster walls; a custom designed kitchen; bathrooms; private backyard, with beautiful landscaping that includes 100 year old tree... Arthur.

I have worked as a party planner -- so no request will seem too detailed and I want you to call on me to help you seek the best of our fair city. I am an interior designer and love to make people happy with style and comfort.

Wonderful winter break!

My husband and I needed a carefree break from the Wyoming winter. This house was perfect for us. It was extremely clean and comfortable as described and we loved the architectural details from the past. The moldings on the exterior are still intact and are a beautiful entry to the house. The house was easy to find and convenient to so many things on our to do list. For us just sitting on the front porch was heaven, but we did so much more during our stay. The first night we took the short walk to the Village Idiot pub just a block and a half away. Fabulous beer, food, and laid back atmosphere. My husband highly recommends the crispy pork belly appetizer and I had a great vegan pot pie. Found our favorite microbrew at the corner liquor store on the way home. We love hitting the movies at the Grove and it's just a few blocks away. Another highlight was Canter's Deli on Fairfax. Even a weekend afternoon LA Philharmonic concert downtown was only 15 minutes away. We loved it! Our entire stay was just the break we needed. The comfort and hospitality at our LA Home was perfect. Thanks Treesa and team!

Due to some issues with our Daughters health and her need to be close to UCLA hospital and doctors, we have spent quite a bit of time in the past 3 years in Los Angeles. We have stayed in numerous hotels and rented our share of homes, including 2 from Theresa through 'HomeAway.com' and by far, Theresa's home on Vista Street is our absolute favorite! It's very roomy, the decor is just beautiful, it's loaded with everything you could possibly need (truly, all you need is your clothes and a toothbrush!) and the location is by far the best we've found in West Hollywood. So much shopping and dining within walking distance, we rarely had to drive our car to anywhere besides the hospital. And to say that Theresa is very accommodating and thoughtful is an understatement! She's a lovely person who will do anything possible to make your stay a pleasant one.
Owner response:Laura, I have been the one who received the gift with the visit of you and your wonderful family to my home. Thank you for trusting us to make that stressful time as pleasant as possible and we hope for each of you a very special and positive outcome. Your attitude was contagious and so very inspirational. Thank you!

Top Choice for an LA Stay!

This home was absolutely perfect for two couples on a five night vacation in Los Angeles. The property is centrally located, and was convenient to LAX and the beaches, and virtually in the heart of Hollywood. We particularly enjoyed the proximity to Melrose Avenue, and quickly became fans of walking to the Blue Jam restaurant for breakfast on three of five mornings. The house itself was immaculate, well appointed, and full of wonderful character. This is the very first place I'd hope to stay on any return visit to the LA area.

We originally rented the Carriage House in back of this lovely home, but were upgraded to the main house. Treesa was beyond gracious in her warm welcome, extra little touches (like a welcome basket, bedside water, and well stocked bathrooms), all in an incredibly West Hollywood property that is both elegant and cosy. This truly is a "home away from home" and our only hesitancy in writing this review is that word will get out how great it is and we won't have it all to ourselves whenever we want to visit. Kudos to Treesa and her hospitality!!

We absolutely loved our stay in this cozy home. Decor was just as described and the beds were very comfortable! Location is perfect and right in the middle of several sights we saw on our visit. Hope to come back very soon!!!
Owner response:Vista Casa is a romantic place. A cozy place to curl up on a chilly winter LA day. A sunny place to relax on a cool spring morning amid all the surroundings and sights close by. The semi-tropical climate of the LA basin is a pleasure on a warm day in the middle of summer. The atmosphere of one of the most famous villages in the world with all the elegance and comfort of home. Where too much is never enough!!!

Our young family stayed in this fantastic home recently. Perfect location, beautifully decorated and the kitchen was fantastic. Coordinating everything with Treesa was incredibly easy. We've stayed in many holiday homes and I have to stay that this is one of my favorites. I've already recommended it to many friends. We will definitely be staying here again.

My friend and I spent 2 weeks in that cosy, lovely home. We came all the way from Germany and we were looking for a nice quiet house, were we could relax but also do lots of sightseeing and shopping.Treesa's house was just the perfect choice!Close to all great shops on Melrose Ave., restaurants and the ocean. We loved the way how she has decorated the house - it all felt so warm and cosy that we really felt like being at home. We would always come back and rent her house again.
