We stayed for two glorious weeks this summer. Neil and Julie did not overlook a single thing in this lovely cottage. We had coffee on the deck in the morning and wine and cheese out there at night. It is close to beaches, restaurants and cultural events. But mostly we relaxed! Its' seclusion is perfect for a couple needing to get away from the bustle of work and life and to a quiet vacation, stress free. You barely see the neighbors, ;) and pets are welcome. Looking at our calendar now to see when we can return.

The cottage is nothing short of picture perfect. The 4th of July holiday (2011) was my second stay at the and I can't wait to spend a third. The setting is ideal for a relaxing get a way, the location is close to many area attractions and the amenities suit every need. Thanks Neil and Julie!

We had a lovely time at your cozy cottage. It was what we were looking for; beautiful view, away from the hustle and bustle. Our little Yorkies just loved the yard; Jack wanted to go swimming and took a jump off the dock. Luckily he was on his leash so Rob reeled him back up. Thank you and hope to visit again.

Neil & Julie: Thank you so much for sharing your home! I haven't felt this relaxed in years! Watching the sun rise over the water was the perfect way to start the day! Sipping a glass of wine on the deck overlooking the water as the day came to a close was just lovely! Sitting on an adirondack chair with my Lab next to me while soaking in the sun and looking out onto the inlet was incredible as well! After one day of relaxation, I felt inspired to cook - something I love but seldom have time to do! I wish every vacation left me feeling this way! Thank you again! -Danna

We loved this house. It was amazing!!!!!!!! I hope everyone enjoys their stay as much as we did. We didn't want to leave. Swans and duck and the most amazing sunsets ever. We sat on the deck and relaxed. The owners make this house feel like it's your. Details they put into it was amazing. I will be back next year and hopefully every year after that.

Thank you for your hospitality and attention to detail. So many thoughtful touches. Loved the proximity to Westerly (Ocean House veranda) and Stonington (Skipper's Dock for sunset dinner). Had a great dinner at the Shelter Harbor Inn and - of course- lobster rolls by the water at Abbott's!

I stayed at this cottage the last week of June and had a wonderful time. The property was neat, clean, and tastefully decorated. There was everything you could possibly need in terms of accommodations including a washer, dryer, vacuum, wireless internet, full cable, and an abundance of clean towel including beach towels. The property is quiet, but close to everything. It is a 10 minute drive to Mystic Village or, if you go in the opposite directions, to Watch Hill and Misquamicut Beaches. It is also close to many antique shops including Milltown Primitives. Not only would I recommend this property, I am hoping to have an opportunity to stay again next summer.

We stayed at this property in July of 2009. It is perfectly lovely, comfortable, clean, filled with amenities. We especially enjoyed sitting on the deck with a beautiful view. The grounds are a delight. The house is just as pictured, and the owner a very nice man with whom to make arrangements. There is much to do in the Stonington/Mystic area. Great restaurants. We enjoyed our stay.

[From the guestbook] Loved the house being on the water. Despite the threat of Hurricane Bill, we had beautiful weather. Sunny skies and cool breezes at night made the location perfect. Enjoyed the large yard with our dog. She would not come out of the water while we fished from the floating dock. Would have liked a longer dock to get into deeper water for the 'big fish', but the relaxation did wonders for the normal grind of life with work. Just what we needed.

Hands down one of the nicest, most peaceful places to recouperate and rekindle with your loved one. Had lower back surgery on April 15ht and had a wondefrful quiet recovery time. The scenery should be on a postcard! Neil and Julie were very gracious and nice hosts! Had a wonderful time and can't wait to do it again!

This is one of the best rentals that we've ever experienced. Beautiful setting, every amenity you can you could ask for, fully stocked kitchen, great yard....I could go on and on. It's close enough to Mystic and Stonington Village by car, but far enough away to to be out of the rush. This has been a relaxing stay. I'd highly recommend this rental.
