Pamper yourself, but too many activities to sit around. Two and a half miles to hundreds of trails on BLM and National Forest land. Four-wheeling, ATV, mountain biking, and hiking/snow shoeing. World class gold medal fly fishing nearby. Lake and stream fishing abounds! Snow shoes provided in the winter.
Great hunting nearby for deer and Elk. 6 lakes to choose from for Ice fishing.
Spend the day at your activity, and watch the sunset from the deck with a glass of wine. Humming birds love the nearby trees and bird feeders. Relax on the swing or in the hammock.
Three bedrooms, but the master bedroom has a king size bed with a good mattress. Two full baths. 2nd and 3rd bedrooms have queen size beds. You'll sleep well.
High definition TV, and 120 channel dish network. DVD provided so bring your movies.

Thanks so much for renting your cabin to us! Our first weekend was hectic and busy and the warm shower each evening after being outside all day in the cold was a blessing, the second weekend was total relaxation and we ate warm food, played DVD's and watched the beautiful snow outside. Your cabin was very clean and had absolutely everything we needed...thank you again.....it's truly a wonderful place!

Thanks Woody! We spent a lot of time fishing, watching movies, cooking and relaxing. If anyone ever asks, Colorado Trout Hunters was a fantastic guide service! We left some chicken (unopened) in the freezer and some other stuff in the pantry if anyone can use it. Shame to throw it away. Also, no one slept in the back bedrooms. Dishes are in the dishwasher, towels in the washer, garbage in the shed. Thanks so much Woody! We had a wonderful time!! You have a beautiful home and we enjoyed every minute!

Hi Mr Wood These sights sound good. I'm just now checking my email and found your email. Maybe we can use them for next time. We sure enjoyed staying at your house. It was extrememly nice. The view of the mountains from the front porch was nice. Our teenagers enjoyed their motorcycles touring around. We did not have any problems with being on the roads. We even took my dad's gator (some 4 wheel, 2 bench machine). We did not have any problems taking it on the road either. The weather was nice while we were there. It was cooler and rainy. It was different than Texas - 100 degrees and no rain. Our vacation was very nice in Colorado. We went trout fishing in Tarryall Lake. The fish were biting. We ate trout one night for supper. I was wondering about the wildlife around that area. It is so enjoyable to see deer and elk. Is there a place you know of that wildlife is accessible to see from the road? I was wondering if you could tell me how you figured our nightly rate on the cabin. My dad paid me for half of it and it did not add up to him. I had not even tried to figure it. It was just a spur of the moment vacation. We did not think we would get one this year and everything fell into place at the last minute. We were tickled your cabin was available. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed my stay. As a matter of fact, I enjoyed it so much, I bought my own vacation home nearby. The BLM land is special!
