Be sure to check out its Tuesday evening Farmer's Market in the Park, just next to our historical railway depot where AMTRAK stops. Just two miles up the road from Alpine Chalet is WHITEFISH MOUNTAIN RESORT - top 20 destination ski resorts. Summer at the Resort includes a new 6-Zipline Tour, Alpine Slide, interpretive Walk-in-the-Treetops tour, and mountain biking trails throughout the entire mountain. Hook your bike to the chairlift, enjoy the views on the Gondola or chair ride, and cruise back down on your bike, for the novice to expert riders.

We so much enjoyed our recent stay at this fabulous home. The home is so comfortable with every little detail thought of. The home is spacious, easy to find and well furnished. It is by far one of the nicest places we have stayed in Whitefish. The location is great close enough to town but not on top of anyone. The extra facilites that came with the house, pool hot tub etc were outstanding and really great after a day of ski ing. I think any time of year this would a great place to stay, we have been to Whitefish in the Summer too and can be certain that this is the place we'll stay next time! From the courteous way our booking was handled, to great details on the local area, we appreciated this Owner so much! We'll be back ~ Lindsay and Stephen, England
