The condo was clean, cozy and had a nice view of the beach. The condo complex was also well maintained and quiet. The bikes were a nice amenity and we rode them every day. Very convenient location to restaurants, shops, Sea Pines and grocery stores. The newly remodeled Harris Teeter store was wonderful.

My husband was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer and underwent surgery, we came to Hilton Head Island to get away and continue his recovery. We couldn't have picked a more perfect place for the view, the close proximity to shopping/restaurants and most of all close access to the beach!!! What a relaxing retreat!!! David was a breeze to work with and made the rental process very easy!!!!

If you plan on staying On Hilton Head Island any time and you are a party of 2 adults and/or 2 adults and 2 children you should consider this wonderful experience. We've done it for 4 years in a row and would recommend it to anyone in a small party of 2 adults with 1 or 2 children. It's a small unit with a wonderful beach access and view from the apartment. Loved it repeatedly and no better landlords than this couple. DO IT! You won't be sorry. You WILL BE be elated! Pat and Bud Douglas

Great location - Clean unit

My husband and I stayed here in November during the week. The unit was very clean and looked just like the photos on this website. The location is perfect on the beach and walking/biking to all the restaurants. The complimentary bikes are wonderful and I was excited the women's bike had a basket (very handy). We booked our trip last minute and David was great to work with and flexible for us. The price is a great deal for the location, the complimentary bikes, & beach chairs. About the building: The building does have a bad smell, but our actual unit did not and is the first unit so you don't have to endure the smell very long. The building was very quiet when we were there, but we were there at an off time and I think only a couple units were occupied.

Owner response:i'm not sure about the source of the smell. The building just had a major interior renovation in which the carpet, ceiling and fixtures where replaced and then painted. The source may have come from the monthly pest control service or someone cooking. Prior guest haven't mentioned this as a problem.

VERY clean and updated condo with beach views from the deck. PERFECT for a weekend getaway or week-long stay. Perfectly located on South Forest Beach which is just a quick bike ride (bikes included) or walk to Coligny Plaza. HIGHLY recommend this condo and the other two the owner has listed as they have taken great pride and care of these properties. We WILL return, hopefully soon!!!!

As a flight attendent, I travel extensively. This was the most relaxing vacation I've ever had, and this condo was a huge part of the experience. Beautiful oceanview, right from the living room; extremely well-stocked (kichen, beach chairs, bicycles); comfortable bed; deck from condos to beach; updated, very clean and quiet. That's not to mention the fabulous oceanfront location, and nearby shopping and dining. David and Bernadette made everything easy, from start to finish. I can't thank them enough for their attention to detail. My husband and I can't wait to go back!

This condo was exactly as described, clean, nicely decorated and perfect for my husband and I. We had seven sunny days with not even a sprinkle - almost unheard of! It was a truly relaxing week and we would definitely rent this condo again and recommend it to singles, couples or couples with small children. The view was great and, being seniors, we loved being on the first floor with only one flight of steps to the ground level and a short walk to the beach. We only used the elevator to unload and load our luggage. The owners made the rental process so easy and the condo had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We spent a long weekend in the Luce condo in early November 2010. It is beautifully decorated and has an amazing view. Very conveniently located to the beach, restaurants and shopping. It is affordably priced and, as shared in other posts, David makes the whole process very smooth and comfortable. It was our third trip to Hilton Head and absolutely our best rental experience.

We enjoyed Labor Day weekend with our two grandchildren (4 and 7 years old) at Seaside Villas. This condo was very tastefully decorated and had just been updated this year. The VRBO pictures matched the condo exactly. We liked the tile floors...no carpet. The kids liked eating breakfast and lunch on the balcony and we ate dinners out. The condo is well-equipped and located near many restaurants and shops. It isn't far from Harbour Town, where we enjoyed eating at an outside restaurant, looking at the gorgeous yachts, and climbing the giant oak trees. (There is a great playground for children that we visited last year.The children (us too) enjoyed listening to Greg Russell under the big oak tree. We mainly went to the beach and pool this year but plan to rent bicycles next time. We'd definitely stay here again and would recommend to friends and relatives.

Seaside I Condo

This is our third year in this same condo in Seaside I Villas. We absolutely love it!! The owners made the rental process so simple. This Seaside location is so convenient, located just a short distance from the beach. It's easy to walk back and forth throughout the day. The owners made the rental process absolutely seamless. Thanks also for providing bikes and beach chairs. It was nice not to have the extra expense of renting bikes, and it was great not to haul beach chairs all the way from Ohio! We look forward to coming back next year. Thanks so much!

HHI is an incredible place to vacation and the condo is central to everything. The condo was great. What is presented on-line is truly what you get; very clean, well stocked, steps from the beach, nice view of the ocean. Bikes and the beach gear were a real bonus. My daughter and I just spent a week at this condo and I can't say enough good things about it. The condo was very clean, had a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, great location and view, beautifully decorated and came with bikes and beach chairs. We are already planning next years vacation to the same place. Not only was it a great place to vacation, but the entire rental process was a pleasure. Overall it was an A+ experience.

This is our 6th or 7th year staying at Sea Side Villas in Hilton Head. We stayed in 231 in the past. We have had a wonderful experience each and every year. The condo 127 was recently updated and they did an exceptional job. Great place for a family vacation! So many things for kids to do! Can't beat the neatness of the condos and the price!!!!!!!!! I have been visiting HHI for over 25 yrs so when my husband & I married of course we continued to do so (10 yrs now). This was absolutely the best vacation we have ever had here. My 2 children loved it and so did we!! The place was very nice and well decorated. The bikes were great and we had a great view of the ocean. We will definately stay here again in the future. The owners were great to deal with and very polite! I recommend this to anyone ~~ Trust me you will have a great time. Thanks for allowing us to stay!! :)

SAVE YOURSELF SOME TIME GO AHEAD AND BOOK THIS CONDO NOW!! MY FAMILY AND I JUST RETURNED FROM A WONDERFUL WEEK AT THIS VILLA. THE VIEW OF THE OCEAN FROM THIS BALCONY IS BREATH-TAKING. THE RENTAL PROCESS WAS EASY AND YOU COULD NOT ASK FOR BETTER PEOPLE TO DEAL WITH. THE VILLA IS BEAUTIFULLY DECORATED IN A CONTEMPORARY STYLE AND HAS ALL THE ACCOMIDATIONS THAT YOU COULD NEED. THE WALK TO THE BEACH WAS ONLY STEPS AWAY.

This is by FAR the best deal in Hilton Head. Especially for a couple! The place was squeaky clean and the view from the balcony was fantastic. My fiance and I rode bikes on the beach and used the beach chairs every single day. They were a great perk! The beach was clean and excellent for swimming. Typical day: Wake up in pure darkness in the back room of the villa, eat breakfast on the balcony watching the ocean, lay out and go swimming in the pool for a couple hours, get out and walk around at the Coligny Plaza, come back and eat lunch, walk down to the beach and lay out/swim in the ocean, come back and eat dinner, and finally ride bikes along the hard sand of the beach until we get tired. My fiance and I ended up calling David and extending our stay from 7 days to 10 days because we didn't want to leave!!! Oh and by the way, I am certain that there is no better person on the PLANET to rent from than David Luce. He was incredibly understanding and was extremely helpful through the entire process. Best week of our lives!!!

We had a great vacation with our two little boys staying in this condo! It was so nice to be right on the beach and not have to travel to get there. The bikes were a wonderful perk; we rented a bike trailer to attach to one so we could haul our little guys around and that worked out perfectly. The condo was very clean when we arrived, and we were able to meet Mr. Luce in person- he was a great source of information for us, kind and professional. Our favorite restaurant of the week was One Hot Mama's- a barbecue place, and there was also a great sandwich place on Coligny Plaza- but I can't remember what it was called!

We stayed in the Condo the last week of April 2009. It is a great place to stay......great location so close to the water and the Condo is well equipped. Having beach chairs, an umbrella and two bikes really made the stay even more enjoyable. We certainly recommend this condo very highly. The owners are very cooperative and nice to deal with.

I agree with all the other superlatives plus..... New stainless steel appliances and granite countertops were added in December, 2009. These include stove, refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher. Also, tile floors. This will spur David to get the new pictures on the site. My wife and I love to cook and have stayed in many places at Seaside Villas. Never had appliances this nice. Including the bikes is a nice touch also. We'll be back.

Your condo is in a great place for viewing the ocean, sitting in the afternoon sun, walking to resturants, and best of all bicycling on the beach and the wonderful paths the island provides. Never seen such a great area for biking. We are impressed with the diligent care given to the complex to keep it looking nice.
