This was our first visit to Pensacola and we were so lucky to have found this beautiful home! The pictures/video don't do it justice. We felt immediately at home and loved everything about it! After a rather nasty little storm the first night, we just sat on the front deck watching the ocean and enjoying the views (which, by the way were everywhere!) My husband fished from the back, and Gregg recommended excellent places to eat. We walked to the beach, rode the bicycles, and rode the observation wheel. The Blue Angels and Naval Air Museum were great, and as history buffs, we enjoyed Fort Pickens. We left happy, rested and ready to come back next year! Thank you so much for opening your home to us. It is truly a jewel!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Spent 7 days with the family at the Beach House. The house is beautiful. The pictures of the home and the views do not do the real thing justice! Walked to Peg Legs. Spent every day on the beach. Of the 30 years I have been visiting Pensacola..this was the best trip ever. We'll be back!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This is one of the nicer properties on the beach to rent, and the only one i know of with a canal / boat dock in the back yard....PLUS beautiful views of the beach out front, and the sound off the back deck...we stayed there in mid-august and this house is everything the pictures say it is and more. Perfect for families with small children - easy walk accross Ft Pickens Rd to the beach - 100 yards - and the beach is never crowded. The kids will also love fishing off the back dock as its easy to catch a fish or two. If you have a few extra dollars, do yourself a favor and rent a ski boat for $300 a day from accross the bay from the boys at harborviewmarine.com...they'll let you keep it overnight and you can drive it right across Pensacola Bay and anchor it at your private dock behind this house - very cool!!!! Tips? most of the seafood places on the beach are not very good, but the Grand Marlin is the exception (a little pricey tho). McQuires Irish Pub is worth a drive into Pensacola. Stay away from Alvins Island - the biggest tourist trap in Florida. The Pensacola Naval Aviation Museum is a must see on an overcast day, and its still free!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This place and the owners were awesome. My 5 and 3 year old loved this place and cried when we left. We were a walk from the beach, its so close that we just carried everything including coolers. The bay side was great for evening time..we cooked, fished and spent a lot of time on the HUGE deck without having to leave the house! Its also very close to all the resturants and the boardwalk. I would definitly recommend to anyone.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Just returned from another week in Pensacola and stayed at this property for a second time. Everything was as wonderful as we remembered from last year. Weather was a bit disappointing, but everything else was perfect. Our children couldn't wait to get back and they spent their days fishing from the back deck and playing on the beach. We had the rare opportunity to see a sea turtle on this trip and is was a special moment for the whole family. I can't say enough good things about the house itself and the incredible location. We are booking it again for a Summer 2013 trip.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

We had the most relaxing and fun vacation at this property! I have children ranging in ages from 24 to 10 and there was something to do for everyone. From the ocean across the street to a trolley ride down to the boardwalk, it was all just amazing. The house was extremely comfortable and well maintained. Plenty of space for family togetherness but also space to get away and have privacy. If you're looking for the perfect beach get away...this is it!Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

This is our second year to stay at this property. My family is large and we like alot of space to spread out and play. 11 of us stayed in this home 5 kids (3, 7, 8, 10, 14) and 6 adults ( no ages needed) The house has everything you will need with the exception of additional beach towels (did I mention there were 11 of us) We cooked at least 2 meals a day and had all the utinsiles we needed. We pulled the twin beds together and made them into a king size bed and we used both sleeper sofas. The view from the family room/kitchen is unbelievable! We loved watching the ocean as we ate our meals. We had easy access to each floor from 2 sets of stairs. This house leaves you wanting nothing...you will be totally pleased! My family loves to fish. We shore fished each morning and then came home for breakfast and fished the sabine down stairs. We caught a flounder, lots of crokers, crabs, lady fish, whity, and trout. Midmorning we would walk across to the beach and play there until late in the afternoon. After a showers, late lunch and maybe a short rest we would head into town to shop or for dinner. Gluf Breeze is the perfect place to relax and have a wonderful family centered vacation. We made many wonderful memories. Thank you to Greg he is a great property manager and very helpful. He does a wonderful job.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

I wanted to ensure that I reviewed this amazing property. My family of 7 stayed here in early Oct 2011 and I am already thinking about our next trip. The house was delightful from day one. The 360 degree views of both the beach and bay wowed us when we walked into the house and stayed amazing the entire time. The top floor is full of light through the open floor plan of the living areas. The house is very well stocked with TV's, cookware, beach toys and accessories, bikes, grill...etc. Everything we needed was available with this house. Great TV and music system. We spent many nights on the decks in the front and rear of the top floor, talking and taking in the great view! There are three great bedrooms and we used them all. The Master has a balcony and a super large Bathroom. All have nice closet space. We especially liked that the the Beach is just across the street and the bay is right behind the house. Wow!! We went to the beach two or three times a day carrying all our beach gear! Saw dolphins twice from the balcony! Fort Pickens was very interesting and we rode the bikes all the way there. My family especially liked walking the beach. You abolutely cannot go wrong with this property. Greg is a wonderful man to work with and he will take good care of you. He was responsive and always helpful!!Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children.
