We loved our stay at ZouZou and Alain's studio/condo at Mont Vernon. The view from our room of Orient Bay, and St Barth's was fabulous. We can't wait to return! The bed was very confortable, and the room we in had was just re-furnished. The pool was very nice one of the biggest on the Island, and cleaned daily. Only a short walk to Palm Beach Bar, which has great food, and beach chairs are free if you eat there. You will need to rent a car to get around, go to the US Market, about one mile from the hotel complex, or go to Grand Case about a 5 min. drive. We had no problems finding a parking spots. In 7 times to St. Martin this one was the best!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, age 55+.

We just got back from our 1 week at Mt. Vernon (Aruba Building) Feb. 12th. It was a very nice unit...beautiful furnishings. Zuzu is very easy to work with and a phone call away if needed. We slept soundly every night on the comfortable bed. It had everything we needed. The maid showed up Tuesday and Thursday for general cleaning....very nice outdoor wicker furniture on the balcony for our evening nightcap!! Thanks, Zuzu, we sure hope to get back. I just came back from St Martin Sept 2, 2010 from a two week stay. This was my second stay here. Mont Veron is on the quiet end of Orient Bay, which my husband and I enjoy. You can easily walk to restaurants on the beach. The view from the unit in the Aruba building is excellent. There is a large pool for swimming and beach chairs with cushions are available at the pool. Maid service is provided every two days, which I Iiked: floors are mopped and fresh beach towels, baths towels and change of sheets. Kitchen has essentials needed for cooking meals. Refrigerator is a good size for doing your weekly shopping. Zuzu is attentive to your needs. She brought us candles and a flash light prior to Hurricane Earl.

My partner and I have just returned from our two week vacation to St. Martin. Our Mt. Vernon apartment was even better than we anticipated. We have stayed at various vacation rentals around the world and found this to be one of the very best. It was well equipped, the maid service was very good and our host ZuZu made our stay seamless. There are great supermarkets on the island where wine and food can be purchased reasonably. The view from the balcony made meals at the apartment a great pleasure. Excellent value for money!! We both said we would stay there again if we have the pleasure of returning to St. Martin. Thanks ZuZu and family!

We spent two weeks here in January 2009. We are always a bit apprehensive when we rent sight unseen, but we found all to be just as advertised and we enjoyed our stay here very much. The studio was very neat, the maid service was excellent. The view from the balcony is fabulous. If you can handle walking up and down a couple of flights of stairs to get to the excellent pool and magnificent beach, this is a great place to stay in Saint Martin. Zuzu was very helpful in helping us get our luggage which had been lost by the airline, and her children and their restaurants are also very nice.

My wife and I stayed here Feb 18 - Feb 25, 2009. The condo is a great value compared to the high-priced hotels on the island. It has a breathtaking view of Orient Bay...my wife and I would sit out on the balcony and enjoy a bottle of wine just about every night during our stay. Kitchen is functional enough to make simple meals (such as breakfast) if you are on a budget. I would definitely recommend staying here if you have a sense of adventure and plan on exploring the island (rental car). ZouZou was a great help...we look forward to returning to St. Martin.

Stayed in this condo over Christmas holidays. Had stayed at Montvernon in past when a hotel and really love the spot. Great location right on Orient Bay. Quiet, private with very nice pool and ocean/restaurants access. First experience with Zouzou (owner/renter) who was very helpful and saw to any minor problem and assisted with lots of local info. Definitely would stay here again.
