Main House Only – 1100 sq. ft. From the moment that you step onto the newly refinished hardwood and tile floors which flow throughout the home, you will realize that the fully equipped kitchen, master (queen) and second bedroom (queen) with loft (twin) and pull out couch (queen) is made for entertaining up to 6 people. The main kitchen is open to the vaulted ceiling living room. The corner woodstove fireplace brings warmth in the winter and a great ambiance year round. The large private yard includes a sturdy tree house, fire pit and plenty of yard for entertaining (2 picnic tables, gas grill, deck chairs). A fully enclosed hot and cold outdoor shower is a perfect way to end a day at the beach. Red wagon helps transport kids and beach goodies to the beach.
Rates for Main House:
2010 Olympics (February 6 - March 6): $1700 weekly only, Saturday to Saturday.
Summer (May 1-September 30) $800 per week: $200 nightly for first three nights minimum stay, additional nights are $50 nightly.
Off season: $700 per week: $150 nightly for first two nights minimum stay, additional night are $80 nightly.
Rates based on 4 person occupancy. Additional guest $25 per person per night. Maximum occupancy 5 persons. Every Main House reservation pays an additional $500 refundable security deposit ($300 for reservations which are two nights) and $100 non-refundable cleaning deposit for all reservations. Check-in is at 3:00 p.m. check-out is at 10 a.m. (except for weekend-only rentals where check out is by 5:00 p.m. on Sunday).
Unique Double Residence Option – 1900 sq. ft. For those families who want to share their vacation with extended family and friends or just want to spread out, you have the option to rent the entire house which features an inlaw suite (a second little kitchen, dishwasher, large stacked laundry, multiple living areas and master suite). Lovely solid wood pocket doors expands the original house to a second living room (with piano), the kitchen and a sunroom with second dining table. The downstairs powder room and sofa bed turn this living room into a private bedroom at night and a family room by day. A private master suite (queen) on the second floor opens up with french doors to a large private deck which overlooks Vancouver’s Grouse Mountain in winter. A huge fir tree and windows on all four sides with high ceilings makes you feel like you’re in a tree house paradise! The master spa bath includes a two person tub with separate shower. Romance is guaranteed!
