The Dog House Guest House is located on historic Boyer Avenue 0.6 miles from Whitman College, 0.9 miles from downtown Walla Walla, and 0.3 miles from Pioneer Park.

The 1911 bungalow house has been totally remodeled balancing the charm of a craftsman bungalow with the openness, quality finishes and conveniences of modern homes. The house is located in a quiet residential neighborhood.

The Dog House Guest House is a single family home set up for relaxing and entertaining with a swing on the front porch, an open living space that joins the gourmet kitchen and a large deck off the kitchen in the spacious fenced back yard. There are two bedrooms with queen beds plus two twin size convertible chairs in the main living area. We rent the whole house to you but our rental fee is based on whether you use one or both bedrooms.

We live in Walla Walla and can help you plan your stay. We enjoy bicycling, fishing, motorcycling, golfing, dining at locally owned restaurants and visiting wineries. Please inquire below if you have questions or would like additional pictures of the house.

  • This is a terrific, lovely house! Beautifully decorated and thoughtfully appointed. As (an overinvolved) parent of a Whitman student who is now a senior, I've stayed in just about every hotel and many vacation rentals in Walla Walla. This is one of the best!

  • A most beautifully set up home away from home with possibly the best equipped kitchen we've ever seen! The garden was great - especially the fresh herbs and vegies! The location was perfect - a 20 minute stroll to the downtown past the university. A great place to stay!
