  We really enjoyed our week in Telluride. The condo was the perfect size for 2 people and convenient to town and lift 7. Unit was very clean and well maintained. Skiing was great, and had plenty of room for our gear and belongings. Loved the short walk to main street, There, Siam, the Gondola, and Boot Doctors. Heated pool and hot tub were great, especially after a long day on the slopes! Ana was very friendly and great at communicating with us - she always promptly answered any questions that we had. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone coming to ski or explore the town!

  Viking Lodge is as advertised - a short walk to the lifts, convenient to town and the gondola. Ana's place is quiet, clean and functional. Nobody will confuse Viking with 5 star accomodations but for the money it's hard to imagine a better deal in a town like Telluride. We had a great stay and will consider Ana's place on our next visit!

  We had a great time at the condo in Telluride. It was perfectly located two blocks from the gondola with a nice flowing river in the back. The place wasn't huge but it served us well. It has a lot of charm, parking near by, and is a really short walk to several restaurants and stores. Siam is a fantastic Thai place less than 200 yards away. Kitty-corner from that is a cute coffee and breakfast place. Just a great place to stay.

  This condo is exactly as described. It was clean and perfect. The proximity to the galloping goose stop made everything so easy. After spending some time at Mountain Village, we were really glad we chose to stay in town. The condo is ridiculously close to Siam and there bar which are both awesome places. The kitchen pans and utensils are very basic. If you really plan on cooking a meal there bring a few items and bring your spices too. I would recommend this place for the price to anyone.

  I stayed at the condo during the Telluride Yoga Festival and just had the best time. The location is so convenient to everything including the tram and the restaurants. I loved hearing the river at night while I was sleeping and really enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub after my yoga training. The condo had everything I could need and was very quiet. I am planning on returning next year!

  The Viking lodge is a great place to stay. We really enjoyed having breakfast and dinner on the balcony. The view is very nice and listening to the river is very relaxing. Being on the third floor provides a very nice view. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. The owner was extremely accommodating and the price was the most reasonable of all the Viking lodge units available for rent. The condo is not luxurious like some of the other Viking units but is comfortable and is exactly as described on the VRBO website. To our surprise, the small convection oven worked well. The refrigerator is very small for American standards but was sufficient for our needs.. The bunk bed is long enough to accommodate a 6 ft tall person! The television is a very nice large flat screen. The unit is very quiet and we never heard our neighbors. For the price and size, this is probably the best rental you can get in Telluride in the summer. I would definitely recommend this unit to some of my friends and plan to return next summer. This is very centrally located and a car is not necessary unless you want to visit the surrounding areas. Thank you Ana (the owner) for being so prompt and thorough to answer all our questions.

  Hi Ana, Thank you very much for allowing us to stay in your awesome apartment for a month (Jan 6th 2011-Feb 5th 2011) We had such a great time in Telluride and look forward to coming back. The apartment was in a great location and was ski in ski when the snow was good. We used the spa and pool nearly every night. Thanks again for all your help, you have been very quick to respond (since May 2010) and very helpful. Matt Dingwall.

  I stayed at this property for a month during the "off season" in September-October and it was perfect. Telluride is such a charming place regardless of when you are there - and this condo is the perfect spot to stay at. It's walking distance from everything in Telluride and just a couple of blocks to the base of the gondola or lift 7. I will definitely try to stay here again on my next Telluride trip.

  My brother and I stayed here for about six weeks, and this condo provided everything we could possibly need in a long-term vacation rental. There are gorgeous views from the balcony and the condo definitely has a 'homey' feel to it. The condo comfortably sleeps four people, so we were able to have a guests without feeling cramped. My brother used the pull out and I got the bed, so even though it's one bedroom, we were able to feel like we had two separate rooms for the most part. Everything in town is within walking distance, including a great Thai place, Siam, which is right across the street, and an awesome running trail just outside the complex. Having access to a hot tub and pool was another huge plus to staying here, and there are laundry facilities in the complex, pretty close to the actual condo. I highly recommend it, whether you're going for just a couple days or a few weeks!

  Hi Ana: We had a great time in Telluride over the past 4 days. Your place at the Viking Lodge was just what we needed. Based on this year's trip, we hope to head back again next March - I'll be in touch once I know if this is real or just the inevitable reaction to a great trip. All in all, you have a great place.   I enjoyed this location better than Mountain Village. It was nice to walk to town where there is restaurants, bars, shops, etc. Quick walk to lifts and bus stop. View is great of the slopes and river. I was happy with the quality of kitchen supplies and towels.Nice hot tub and pool. Had all the necessities and a good value for Telluride.

  Stayed here for a week in March 2010. Excellent spot as advertised. Perfect location and set up for 3 of us who were primarily focused on skiing. Easy walk to the lifts, top floor unit was comfortable and well equiped. I'll look to stay here again on my next trip to Telluride.

  Ana, By the way, the condo is great! The pictures online don't quite do it justice...it's better than I expected! The place seems tidy and clean, and it's serving us very well! Oh, and we went to La Cocina for breakfast. The breakfast burritos were good, and the staff really catered to our child. It was a good experience all around. Thanks for the recommendation! Thanks!   Hope that you are well, I just wanted to write and thank you for the rental of your condo at Viking Lodge. It made the perfect base for a weeks skiing in Telluride. The location was excellent for being able to walk to everything. I can't explain to you how nice it was to have a soak in the hot tub after skiing all day - I met a lovely couple from Marthas Vinyard while chatting in the warm water and we want to come back again for the same week next year... Telluride is a special place, I can understand why you would want to live there. Thanks once again, Regards Damian

  Two of us rented the property in February of 2010, and I must say, it was absolutely perfect for us. The views were incredible and most importantly, the location was amazing. Everything is right outside the door, and it was so convenient to be able to ski back every day for lunch. The condo itself was clean and immaculate, and the pool and jacuzi were amazing too. It looks like we'll be headed back again in 2011! Thanks, Ana!

  Dear Ana, Telluride and your condo were great! Nothing but good energy everywhere. Also, good tube and the ski prints were cool. We didn't get a chance to do much more than ski, but the skiing was superb with over four feet of fresh snow. Thank you though, for your recommendations, and hopefully I'll again get a chance to see this mountain cathedral. I loved Telluride, it's a spiritual place. We also met some colorful characters, adventurers all! Had a couple great meals at the Chophouse. Did Siam, but it was just so-so that night. The menu was great, though, and I'd definitely go back. Watched playoff football at the Dollar Bar on Sunday night, watching some locals set off M80s in the street. Good fun, nobody making trouble, and a nice counterpoint to the otherwise upscale feel of much of the area. Thank you. Best regards, Rod
