  Don't bother with this rental. For the money this owner charges there should be no issues what-so-ever! Condo was dirty in general and very cluttered. Any possible usable space was cluttered with junk. Couldn't even put our own clothes in drawers because all were filled with the owners personal STUFF! Great access to the beach but that is it. Condo in general had a musty and moldy smell. Should have listened to previous reviews. Renter beware. Also what is stated for the amenities is not true. Definitely not what is promised. Just goes to show you anyone can 'PUFF' talk their property but it doesn't make it so. Yes it is a BEACH HOUSE but for the money it is a cluttered musty mess!!!! For a lot less money there are many others condos to choose from that are truly nice, on the beach and CLEAN. Renter do your homework before choosing this unit. Another note, the owner of these two condos leaves notes all around telling you not to change the a/c settings, not to use too much water because their water bill is too high, etc., etc. RULES, RULES, RULES are you kidding????

  Owner response: First of all, this isn't a condo; it's a two story individual family home right on the beach. Yes, the house has decorations but NO JUNK. I have beautiful nautical murals painted everywhere - please look at my virtual tour on my website and see for yourself. In each bedroom there is one dresser with NOTHING in any of the drawers except one drawer has extra clean sheets and pillowcases. The house is totally tiled with a few scattered throw rugs that are washed all the time. There is no "musty or moldy smell". My air filters are changed monthly. In an informational book I give each renter I clearly ask them to call me immediately if they incur any issues whatsoever. I never heard a word from them. Renters call me all the time over things; i.e., we ran out of propane - how do we get more? I can't get on WiFii - what do I do? A beach umbrella blew inside out - can I replace it for you? The hot tub breaker popped - where is the breaker box? Yes, I do ask renters not to turn the air down more than a few degrees at a time since air conditioners in Florida freeze up if you crank them way down all at once. They need to cool off. People from up North aren't aware of this fact and I explain this to them. Florida is extremely hot and humid and the A/C units need to turn down periodically to thaw. Yes, I ask renters to please hose down the bikes after they have rode them on the beach which these people did not do; as a matter of fact, they actually broke two of my new aluminum bikes and didn't even tell me. I had two new adult aluminum bikes, a year old adult bike and four children's bikes and the garage was a disaster when they left. However, I didn't even keep any of their security deposit. I wish I would have now. Both of my beach houses are immaculate when renters move in; I can't help what they do when I'm gone. I'm sorry they didn't like this beach house but once again, "it's a beach house" with all the toys and whistles you would want on your vacation. I use to provide surfboards. In one year I replaced 8 surfboards and they aren't cheap. Because of some renter's misuse, I am now asking renters to check them out from me. It's a shame how a few people can ruin a good thing for everyone else. Please feel free to contact me directly or via email with any concerns. I wouldn't have so many return renters if the house wasn't worth it.

  This house is not for the faint of heart. It is cluttered with all kinds of furniture and knick knacks. There is very little empty space anywhere. The walls are completely filled with everything from kitschy Florida "artwork" to a collection of guitars, to painted fish. It appears as if most of the items were collected from garage sales or cast offs from some unknown origin. The large pit sofa in the living area looks inviting but is, in reality, very uncomfortable. The kitchen is dated and messy. The refridgerator is missing a shelf and there is a bar accross the inside of the door that is deisgned to hold things in the door that failed miserably everytime we opened it. Everything in the door would tumble out onto the ground. Dishwasher works. Can opener does not. The backyard is cluttered with multiple discarded patio furniture, rusty chairs, dozens of kids toys which have been used by God knows who. It looks like a flea market. The garage is stuffed with old musty smelling games and toys. Some of the bikes worked, some have flat tires and rusty seats. The linens on the the bed in the "kids" room are old and pilled and the comforter was dirty. The bed was was filled with old, dust mite ridden, smelly, dusty stuffed animals. The rugs were worn and dirty. Washing machine is large and works. Dryer is in garage and also works. The whole place needs updating and a good cleaning and sterilization. Generally it is cluttered and dirty. A nice walk out to the beach is probably the biggest advantage. Kids had fun but I would not stay here again.

  Owner response: Wow, I am shocked. Yes, it is a BEACH HOUSE not the Taj Mahal. The house is immaculate; there is nothing dirty about it. This guy has to be a fanatic. Yes, I have painted fish on the walls - it's a BEACH HOUSE. Yes, I have guitars and banjos hanging on one wall - IT'S A BEACH HOUSE AND KIDS and ADULTS love playing with them on vacation. In the garage there are three brand new stainless steel bikes for adults and 4 bikes for children in perfectly good working condition. There is one old pink bike in the corner with a flat tire and the seat came off but it's a beautiful bike and I need to get it fixed. Yes, there are lots of toys for kids outside - IT'S A BEACH HOUSE WITH TOYS. I tell each and every renter that if something breaks (excluding surfboards) just to throw it away. I cannot control what kids do with toys outside while they are playing with them. Did he mention all the boogie boards, surfboards, large propane grill, WiFii, etc. that are in perfect condition??????? Did he mention the gorgeous master bedroom or the second bedroom with two beautiful king beds and TV's ????? No, he only mentioned one bed comforter that he perceived as dirty (which it is NOT) and a set of sheets that were clean but had a few cleaning bumps on them. Once again, it's a BEACH HOUSE with a large leather sectional that you can just fall right into when you come off of the beach. His family wanted this house since it has so many kid's toys, etc. vs. my other house that is the "adult" beach house with a rec room and a hot tub. You know, you just can't please everyone. The whole house DOES NOT NEED UPDATING. The patio doors are brand new, the downstair's bathroom was just replaced last year, the deck is being replaced by sections, the BEDS are the most comfortable beds you will ever sleep in. The house is cleaned by two ladies every week and I check it for cleanliness before the new renters arrive. Once again, I am just shocked by this response. I have signs that say "if something inside this beach house does not meet your expectations, call me immediately. He never called me once. It's people like this that makes my life so miserable !!!!! Some people you just can't please and I'm sure he's one of them. I'm just glad I didn't have to spend a week on vacation with him.

  Our family is so thankful to Sandi for renting her spacious beach house to all of us. We had such an awesome time. The house was perfect for the 8 of us and I can't say enough about the outside, the beach, the ocean and all the amenities. I was amazed how this beach house had everything we needed to make our vacation so wonderful. We really needed to get away and relax and we all did. Can't wait to return.

  This was one of the very best vacations my family has ever had. The home was so much fun and the views were awesome. We were very comfortable in this beach house and plan on returning annually with our extended family. My five year old cried when we had to leave and I almost did too.

  Oh my gosh! This place was awesome! There were so many things provided that I have NEVER had provided at other places we have rented. Usually you get dishes, towels, sheets and the like. But here you get video games (PS2, XBox and others), surf boards, board games, books, computer, beach chairs, boogie boards, toys (inside, outside and beach), hundreds of videos/movies, and thousands of interesting Knick Knacks filling every inch of this place. You get so many extras you would have to visit their website to see for yourself. Just search for Sunny Beach House Dot Net. It was great for every age. We had my 2 older kids (18 and 21) along with my 5 year old nephew and several family friends and we were blown away. Our house was a 30 second walk from the beach. You can see the beach from almost anywhere in the house. This place was so entertaining for the entire family. And Cocoa Beach/Cape Canaveral has so much to do. If you are looking for a fantastic stay on a gorgeous Florida Beach, you have got to call Sandi- She is one of a kind and will do anything to make your stay unforgettable. I can attest to her comments about the bad review- There are signs everywhere about what NOT to do about the windows and A/C. She makes it clear that this can damage her property. I can't imagine Sandi not standing on her head to make her renters happy. She sure did for us! I will be back every year for ever....

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

  My family and I have been looking for a beach house for years where we could come and visit annually and feel comfortable in. We have finally found it in Cocoa Beach/Cape Canaveral at these wonderful beach houses at www.sunnybeachhouse.net We were thrilled with the gorgeous beach, the beach amenities, the nartically-decorated beach house and especially with all the baby furniture. It is so great not having to drag baby furniture with us. This house not only has a complete set of inside furniture but also very special beach tents and things for the baby for the beach. It was so great playing with my older children on the beach and having the baby with us and not having to worry about the baby in the house. The sunrises are the most wonderful sunrises I have ever seen and the temperatures were perfect everyday. I can't believe all the things there are to do right there in the area and there are so many restaurants, that we onlyl had breakfasts at the beach house and either went out to eat or had food delivered right to our door from the many restaurants in the area. We saw the most wonderful launch this past week which will give us memories forever and the national surfing contest was awesome. My kids actually good private surfing lessons from Jimmy Walker and practiced their surfing skills all week with the surfboards in the house. I only played with the boogie boards but with all the beach toys, it kept me and the younger children busy all day. The backyard is lit up at night time so the kids could continue playing outside while the adults sat on the deck and enjoyed the many ships leaving and coming into the Port. It definitely was the best vacation we have ever had and I can't wait to come back.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

  My family stayed in #2 & #3 over x-mas break. The houses were very very dirty. The dishes that were provided were encrusted with food and very gross. Counters had remnants of past renters like crumbs, food, and broken glass. House #2 also has a bad ant problem. If you like ants crawling on you while you are in the bathroom this house is for you. Layers of dust were on all surfaces including all the clutter. I have never seen such clutter. These houses have waaayyy tooo mmuuuccch stuff. The area is beautiful, but for the price not worth it. I will not rent from these owners again. Disappointed in Michigan

  Owner response: First of all, I have signs in the kitchen that state if you are not happy with the condition of anything, to please notify me immediately. They once complained about dust being on top of the fans and I promptly sent over a cleaning person to clean the fans. The house was thoroughly cleaned by two professional cleaners prior to their admittance into either beach home. These renters are just upset because I kept their security deposit due to the fact that they ripped off all of my tiki material off of all beds in the children's bedroom and they also turned the air conditioners down below the allowable temperature and the Rental Agreement specifically states that if you request cooler temps, there will be an additional per day charge, which they agreed to. They even froze up one of the air conditioners causing me to place a service call on a Sunday . The cleaning people even complained it was so cold in there they had to open up the doors to work. Yes, as soon as you open up the doors and windows, which they did with the air conditioning on, you immediately get a coating of sand and salt on almost everything making things look like they are dusty. I also have signs everywhere asking renters Not To Open Up Windows but they did. They violated their signed Rental Agreement, they destroyed my property, and ignored my signs about not opening up windows and they are now complaining that I kept their meager security deposit. I should have billed them an additional amount for their destruction and abuse. Yes, we have a small issue with ants but we live in Florida and I only have the outside sprayed; I never spray the inside of the homes due to fact that I do not want poisons in my environment. Apex is working on the ant issue from the outside.

  My family and I LOVED our time at this beach house!!! It is a perfect place to stay with children. Sandi was great and gave us wonderful restaurant tips!!! We can't wait to stay there again.
