The condo was perfect! Every detail was covered, down to the kitchen brimming with all necessities to the available umbrellas and blankets! The view overlooking the lake was beautiful. It was so nice to be home, and have that perfect place to stay that made us feel right in place. Perfect for couples on a romantic shoreline getaway or a family on summer vacation! The corner condo locations offers privacy and takes away the worry of bothering neighbors on all sides. We can't wait to come back and stay there!

Ludington at Christmas

The 6 of us (2 adults, 4 kids) stayed for a week at the condo during Christmas. We found the condo very clean and quiet. We enjoyed the variety of board/card games as well as the movies. The kids especially loved sleeping in the loft and visiting the condo pool. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook our own meals. Even though we couldn't do a lot outside in December we did enjoy the local movie theater and bowling alley. We would definitely consider staying at this condo again for any future visits to Ludington.

Excellent Ludington Getaway

This was a perfect alternative to a cottage rental in Ludington, especially with small children and cool fall weather. The condo is stylish, well-equipped, great location to downtown Ludington. It's a great place for a family or couple getaway. The view of the channel and Lake Michigan sunsets was wonderful, the pool and exercise room were convenient and well-maintained. Little things like an iPod docking station and extra toiletries were all details that made it a very comfortable stay. The owner was very responsive and helpful, returning phone calls and emails very promptly. This condo is blocks away from great downtown attractions like the Todd and Brad Reed Photography studio, House of Flavors ice cream parlor and restaurant, Jamesport Brewing Company restaurant, and Lake Michigan. Of course, it's also only about 10 minutes away from Ludington's greatest treasure, Ludington State Park. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this vacation rental home.

Wonderful time at Harbor Terrace

I thoroughly enjoyed my vacation at this property located in the Harbor Terrace condominium. It is very well situated in both the building itself (top floor) but also in relation to the lakeshore/marinas and downtown Ludington. I parked my car on Saturday and didn't use it again until Thursday. I loved the fresh air, the views, and the exercise I got while staying there. The condo itself is well-appointed and well-maintained, spacious, and attractive. I loved the unit's deck and view from there and am sorry the weather wasn't cooperating to let me use it more. The only drawback is the lack of a second full bath (not just a half bath) which would have come in handy for overnight guests. Also, I left behind a few pairs of earrings, nothing valuable but jewelry I didn't want to lose. Julie, the co-owner of the unit was very helpful in making sure the items were found and returned to me within two weeks of my stay. Thank you, Julie and the housekeeper who found and actually returned the earrings to me. I expect I may stay there again if ever I return to Ludington for another vacation. It was relaxing and yet fun week.

We had a very nice time during our stay in your beautiful condo. For the first four days the weather was absolutely gorgeous. Warm and Sunny. But as the week went on the weather got much cooler and very windy. We enjoyed watching the waves crash on the lighthouse pier. Your condo had everything that we needed and was very nicely appointed and the view just couldn't be beat!

I highly recommend this vacation rental for anyone looking for a luxurious, yet relaxing place to stay. Julie (condo owner) was pleasant and easy to do business with. She responds quickly to email inquiries. I can't say enough about the unit itself. It was spacious and very comfortable for eight people. Even the hideabed in the living room couch was comfortable (rare for a hideabed!). The condo was immaculate, well stocked with quality items, and elegantly decorated. The view from the the terrace (also living and dining room windows) overlooks the harbor and Lake Michigan. We watched the most amazing sunsets every evening (and don't forget to watch the SS Badger come into the harbor for docking after it's trek across Lake Michigan). The grandchildren loved swimming in the indoor pool located on the second floor of the complex; also playing in the nearby waterfront playground and park. I enjoyed walking the dogs along the paved waterfront walkway that leads to Lake Michigan. This unit is ideally located in the heart of downtown Ludington, close to restaurants and shopping, also within a few blocks is the city waterfront beach and park (Stearns Park)...a wonderful place to spend the day! Not to be missed in the area is Ludington State Park (gorgeous park with miles of beaches, sand dunes, hiking trails and Big Sable Lighthouse); also the Silver Lake Dunes area (south of Ludington) and the quaint little town of Pentwater. We absolutely love the Ludington area...there is something special for everyone. Thank you Julie for a wonderful stay!

The weather was perfect all week! We went shopping in Ludington and Pentwater, walked to the lighthouse and climbed up, and attended "movie in the park". We really enjoyed your condo. The kids loved sleeping in the lofts. Enjoyed going out on the balcony and watching the badger and sunsets!

Thanks so much for the wonderful accommodations! We had a great stay and very much enjoyed the condo and the area up there. Our first family week long trip in several years. What a beautiful place and what an amazing city. A city where the locals embrace you and make you feel welcome.Nothing was spared as far as amenities go in this condo. Everything was done in class and style. Great place for couples, familys etc....Never had a bad meal and never ran out of things to do. All shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Beautiful Lake Michigan was sandy and warm-must chill out at Stearns Park/Beach. Macwoods Dune rides in silver lake is also a must.

We enjoyed "Art in the Park", grilling out, beach everyday. Fireworks from the balcony were fantastic! Kids could take off and walk anywhere in town. We didn't have to drive much! We had a great time. Your condo has many lovely amenities! Comfy beds, fluffy towels, etc. We will definitely be back!

The photos, although excellent, can't do this condo justice. It is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean and soooo comfortable. Julie has thought of everything. The amenities are everything you could want and more. Bed linens are of high quality and towels are nice and plush with a generous supply. The two teenage girls in our party loved the loft twin beds. Indeed all beds were very comfortable and we all slept quite well. We didn't have the opportunity to cook our meals in, but had we wanted to, it would have been a breeze with the well-equipped, well-stocked, well-laid out kitchen. The dining area was beautiful with its high panoramic views, and the perfect place to plan the day's activities while having my morning bowl of cereal. We enjoyed watching the Badger car ferry depart from the huge deck with its views over the marina and channel. These same lovely views can be had from the living room and through to the master bedroom, as well. The wi-fi was great and much appreciated! There are nice surprises, such as the comfy throws which the girls used while watching movies from the extensive DVD collection. The location of this condo is perfect. Restaurants, shops, a wonderful grocery store, and the beach are all just a few minutes walk. Julie was a delight to communicate with. She very promptly replied to my many emails. She has made the booking and payment process very easy and straightforward. We would absolutely recommend this condo to family and friends.

We have vacationed in Ludington many times over the years but this was our first stay in the condo and were delighted to be able to bring our dog this time. She had a blast at the dog-friendly beaches on the south end of town. The wi-fi and large DVD library were big hits with our teenagers. Nightly trips to House of Flavors, long bike rides, grilling most evenings, reading out on the patio, long days at Ludington's beautiful sugar sand beach, and walks to the end of the pier combined to make for a great week. This Condo had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. Amenities include pool, hot tub, big screen TV and spectacular views. The Condo is close to town/shopping including McDonald's Bakery, groceries, restaurants, the harbor, and the beach! For those that grew up around the Carferries, you can have amazing views of the daily arrival and departure of the Badger from the condo's wonderful deck that is cookout ready. We drove around the lake to get to Ludington, and took the ferry home. We had great weather with only one shower the whole week. Our favorite activities were swimming in the pool and at the beach, sunsets, silver lake dune rides, and ice cream at the House of Flavors. Condo was wonderful- excellent location! We came to Ludington for a basketball tournament with some other families. Our favorite thing to do was the 1 3/4 mile walk to the lighthouse above the state park. We also saw an awesome skate park demo. We watched the sunset and the ferry leave. The hot tub is great! Thanks so much- this was a treat and the boys loved the bunk bedroom!

My family and I had a wonderful time biking the State Park, walking around Ludington, and relaxing on the deck. Very close to the public park so it was perfect for our young children. Condo has all amenities so we were able to watch movies on the huge flat screen TV when the weather turned poor and cooked dinner each night. The deck was perfect for sunsets and the gas grill was a hit with my husband. An excellent vacation, will definitely return!

We came here on a "last day of school weekend getaway". My children are the sixth generation in our family to visit Ludington for the summers. My dad enjoyed the books on the history of Ludington. We loved watching the Badger round the harbor corner from the terrace. Thank you for a great weekend!

The end of a cold and snowy Michigan winter made the harbor view sparkle and shine as the ice went away. Staying here reminded my wife and I what a great town this is and what a great place we had to stay! Loved the sunsets every night and hated to leave!

The condo is gorgeous, very modern, with a balcony and gas grill; complete with a view of the harbor. There are great restaurants within walking distance and if you golf we highly recommend "Hemlock Golf Club" (only a few minutes away), which had the best greens we had played on this year. We had a great afternoon hiking to the light house from the state park.

We had an amazing time at your condo! Every detail was taken care of, from cozy blankets to wrap up in when watching TV to an assortment of glassware and plenty of games and DVDs for cool rainy days! Our family had a wonderful vacation here this summer. The condo was perfect. Between the pool, walking proximity to park and town and the condo itself we could not have been more pleased. My family and I rented this condo in July 2008. It was beautifully decorated with all the amenities of home. The location was perfect. Just a short walk away from the marinas and city park that our children had a blast playing on. Our balcony provided us with a view of the SS Badger coming and departing each morning and evening. My family and I rent this condo in July of '08. It was beautifully decorated with all the amenities of home. The location was perfect. Just a short walk away from the marinas and city park that our children had a blast playing on. Our balcony provided us with a view of the SS Badger coming and departing each morning and evening.
