Accommodations:  Garden Apartment, 1 Bedroom + Office, 1 Bath (Sleeps 2-4)

Our Garden apartment was built in 2001. It is part of our house built in 1910 (Edwardian) and is located in one of the most fun areas of San Francisco: The Inner Sunset. It is literally 1/2 block from the trolley car which will take you anywhere in the Bay Area. It is 1/2 block from University of California San Francisco and a block from Golden Gate park ( close to the De Young Museum, the Arboretum and the Japanese Tea Garden, Children's playground etc.
It features hardwood floors and Victorian molding to maintain congruency to the local architecture. The bedroom is located in the rear of the apartment overlooking the garden through French doors leading to a small deck with a table and chairs. It is a very quiet secluded area. We also have an extremely comfortable queen plus sofa bed located in the front of the house living room area.
The apartment has a separate entrance to an 1100 square foot
(101 sq meters )of uninterrupted space. It is light and airy.
The decor has a early century feel, but most of all it is a comfortable, clean space to come home to, after a day of working, sightseeing or shopping. It is a very safe area with a solid community. It is only a short walk to Golden Gate Park and all of its attractions.It is a 10 minute trolley car ride away from Ocean Beach.There is street parking and if necessary a parking place can be provided for an additional fee. It is located a minute away from University of California San Francisco Hospital. We also have a separate room and bathroom in the upstairs house which can be rented in addition to the apartment.

Very close to a 10 Min trolley car ride to the ocean or to downtown San Francisco. Home to our world class Symphony , Ballet, Museums , Restaurants. A 10 minute walk to Golden Gate Park, the Children's' playground and the Haight Ashbury.

  • We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment. It is very well furnished and equipped, with everything we needed for our stay. Our 8 year-old son was very comfortable in the fold out bed in the living room. It is in a lovely quiet area with plenty of nice restaurants, good public transport connections and is a very short walk from Golden Gate Park. I would recommend this to any couple or small family.
