Brand new in 2008 in the Chesapeake Lofts Condominium Project. It is a beautiful third floor, loft style condominium overlooking a luxurious, large private, gated association pool, sixteen, person spa tub, and BBQ area. This gorgeous two bedroom, loft style condominium sports beautiful loft style features such as original, exposed structural steel, original speed brick, wrought iron spiral staircase and railing encompassing the spacious loft. It also features a large six-person breakfast bar and four setting dining table. Other features include corian countertops, hardwood, ceramic tile, and shag carpet flooring. The bath is very large and includes an enclosed, ceramic tiled, jetted tub and shower combo. Electronic amenities include three flat screen TV’s, MP3/Ipod compatible CD player with remote, DVD player with remote, and high speed, broadband internet access and router. All of the furnishings, appliances, linens, service settings and etc., were new in May of 2008. The condominium is merely minutes from Cedar Point, Kalahari, Great Wolf Lodge, Castaway Bay, fine dining, evening and unlimited entertainment! It is a two-minute walk to the dinner cruise ship and the Jet Express ferry for a ride to the Lake Erie Islands! Lake Erie has world-class walleye, perch, and small mouth bass fishing. Guides are available upon request. Other units may be available upon request.

My family had a wonderful week stay at this beautiful condo. It is very clean and comfortable. We felt like like we were at home after our long days at Cedar Point. The fitness center and the swimming pool were wonderful amenities that my was able to take advantage of. We were also in walking distance of the ferry to Put In Bay. The owner, Ron was very pleasant to work with and very helpful recommending downtown restaurants. One of our favorite spots was The Better Half Diner for breakfast. We certainly will be booking again soon!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children.

Really nice place! As described in the listing. Photos accurate. Beautiful waterfront. Owner very friendly and easy to work with. Great place to stay while visiting the Sandusky area. A lot of things within walking distance. Found by family member that lives in Sandusky for our visit. Awesome bar/restaurant within walking distance. Security deposit returned in a timely manner. The listing provided does provide an accurate description of the property. The photos provide a different setup of the furniture than what the current layout is. Also, the couch and chair are worn and should probably be replaced in the near future. The property was clean and appears to be well maintained. Initially, when scheduling the rental of the property, the owner was extremely helpful and prompt in answering questions and concerns. Upon arrival at the unit, myself and my family learned that there wasn't toilet paper, hand soap, or a hair dryer provided for use. When I returned home on 11/5/12, I emailed the owner to let him know of these concerns as well as another problem that we experienced. The owner responded to my email on 11/14/12 and indicated that he does not provide such items and that he would refund an additional amount in the return of my security deposit. I will not return to this property. I would only recommend it to friends/family if they are aware that they must bring essentials with them or plan on purchasing them during an initial trip to the grocery store. Since I was in town to visit family, my family did not visit any of the nearby activities, attractions, or restaurants.Owner response: Hello, Thank you for your interest in our summer / vacation home. Please read your rental agreement completely. While this is the owner's vacation home please understand that no personal hygiene products, such as toilet tissue, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, hairdryers, or feminine hygiene products are guaranteed to be supplied by the rental manager. Kitchen products such as detergents, cleaning sprays, trash bags, and paper products are fully stocked at the beginning of the season and are traditionally present on the premises. These items are often intentionally left by the previous guests and owner as a courtesy; however, these items are not guaranteed to be supplied for your stay. There is an iron and small ironing board provided as a courtesy and guests agree that they are use at your own risk of injury and agree to indemnify and hold harmless the manager and owner from any resultant injury from use. In the interest of life and health safety, please do not attempt to repair any minor maintenance or use issues without the express written permission of the manager. We have immediate maintenance service providers, on call for any unexpected issues. All furniture was purchased brand new in 2008 and in very good to excellent condition. Complete inventory and maintenance is executed between each guest to ensure an exceptionally care free visit. This is our personal vacation / summer home and we hope very much that you enjoy it, the beautiful Sandusky Lakeshore, and all that Sandusky has to offer, as much as we do. This was our first time using VRBO and the experience was extremely positive. The condo appeared exactly as described in the listing. We stayed for 3 nights while visiting Cedar Point, which was literally a 5 minute drive! The facilities were clean and well maintained, the freshest smelling sheets I've ever slept on! Ron, the owner, was very attentive to our needs both before and during our stay, even greeted us with a lovely note and a small welcome gift. Our security deposit was returned very quickly. The only slight negative for us, 4 adults and 2 teenagers, was the great room (kitchen & living room) were a bit tight, and we had to juggle sharing the one bathroom. As I said it was only a slight negative which was manageable, since we didn't come to stay inside. I would highly recommend that you consider this property for your visit to Sandusky.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

This was our first time renting a condo and I found the loft condo to be an excellent choice for our family vacation this year. We had plenty of room and really enjoyed making use of the kitchen. It was close to Cedar Point and found their was plenty of things to do. I felt like I was sharing a home of a close friend and was treated like so. I will definately put this trip as one of our favorites and hope to return. I highly recommend this condo if you are looking for a place to stay. The owner was very helpful and easy to work with.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

We had a wonderful time in Sandusky and having this condo to come home to each day after busy days at Cedar Point/ Soak City and the multitude of other attractions in and around Sandusky was great! The condo is clean and comfortable and the owner was easy to work with. We stayed at this beautiful condo for a week in September '09. We had a fantastic time and can't say enough about the wonderful accomodations! The owner was superb to work with and was most helpful to assure we had all we needed and more....I would recommend this condo to anyone who is looking for a relaxing vacation or a fun-filled time at the various places to visit while in Sandusky. Our family stayed here to celebrate my wife's birthday, and we had a great time! The Loft was very nice; ultra clean, and very convenient to many attractions in the Sandusky/Port Clinton/Put-in-Bay area. The loft also is very spacious, especially if you are bringing children. The owner was great to work with, he returned all messages very quickly and made sure we had all the information we needed. If anyone is looking to travel to Put-in-Bay by the Jet Express and not planning on staying on the island, this is the place to be. The Loft is a one minute walk to the Jet Express port. Family of 7 stayed at the condo for 5 nights. The condo was clean and comfortable. The kids loved the loft! The bathroom is big, and the pool was wonderful. Plenty of activites in the area. One block from the Jet Express to the islands, and close to Cedar Pointe. Would recommend this rental, the owner was friendly, helpful, and honest.Did you find this review helpful?
