My husband and I stayed here over our Fall Break 10/23/2011. The pictures are very accurate and the property beautiful. The owners have provided you with everything you need and more. Canoes, fishing equipment, washer and dryer, screened in porch, and a warm wood burning stove. It is a little on the outskirts of town and only a couple of nearby restaurants. Welcome to the unplugged world...it really didn't bother us...but if your looking for cell phone and internet access service...none is available at the house. Loved the peace and quite and our dog especially loved roaming around freely. We came back with beautiful fall pictures and Bald River Falls was simply gorgeous. The Grissom's

This place is GREAT! It is very private and quiet. The kids loved all the outdoor stuff to do even though it was chilly during our stay. We just bundled up and lit a fire in the firepit to warm up by! We still took lil conoe and paddle boat rides with our hoods up. Everything was very clean in the cottage and there were lots of extras in case you forget anything. I'll pack less next time, for sure. Thank you Rob and Julie! We can't wait to go back!

Cabin was very comfortable with everything one would need including a washer & dryer. Our stay was very relaxing. We are from the area & just needed a place to get away for a few days & this fit the bill. The only complaint we would have is the HUGE hill down to the dock...going down not so bad but coming back up was a real trial. We tried to make only a few trips a day up & down. Everything else was wonderful. Thank you Ron for a great vacation spot.

The discription in this listing is absolutely accurate. The photos don't even do the property justice thou. It was a beautiful little cottage that we just loved. When we arrived it was very clean and well maintained. If you are concerned about the one bathroom, don't be. It really isn't a factor at all. We had so much fun fishing and canoeing. The screened in porch was so relaxing, we spent so much time there listening to nature. When drove to many nearby towns, Gatlinburg, Chattanooga, Sweetwater, are just a few that have so many attractions. This is the PERFECT getaway cottage to stay at. The owners are very helpful and respond quickly. This was the best experience we have had in a long time. Thank you so much for allowing us to spend time here. But a week was NOT enough. We will be back. I recommend this cottage for everyone of all ages.......Thanks again.....The Jarvis's

Cabins was exactly as described. It was clean and ready when we arrived. We found many activities to do. Bald River Falls and Cherohala Skyway in Tellico Plains was 1 hour away. Fort Loudon in Venora Tn was nice as was the Ministers tree house in Crossville Tn. Many good motorcycle roads in the area as well. We swam and fished from the dock. My wife caught a three pound catfish one day. We have two college age children and they and their friends had a great time as well. Was one of the most relaxing vacations we have ever taken. Would definitely recommend property to others and owner was easy to work with.

What a great place! The cabin was absolutely perfect. We were a little worried about just one bathroom but it wasn't an issue at all - even with all 10 of us. The kitchen worked well, food was all prepared and then we just formed a line. Ages ranged from 13 to 66 but everyone found something fun to do. We spent most of the day outside canoeing, riding the tube behind our boat, floating on rafts next to the dock (very relaxing), and even riding over to a nearby marina one evening to listen to a live band. We were watching movies during a thunderstorm and then went right back outside after it was over, The hill was a little steep, but it was just part of the adventure. The cabin could not have been better - it fit our family so well.

10 of us stayed at the cabin from 4/10 thru 4/16. We found the place to be very nice and surrounded by natural beauty. We had everything we needed in the house and absolutely loved it. We have been doing this trip for 18 years and we thought it was as nice as place as we had ever stayed. The fishing was great also as we took home eight one gallon freezer bags of fish filets. We are planning on returning next year. I can't say enough about this place.

This is a rustic and cozy cabin set on a hill overlooking the water. The cottage is at the end of the road which gives it a very peaceful, private and quiet location surrounded by trees and wildlife. The hill leading down to the water is rather steep and may be difficult for some people to access the dock area down below. However there is a wonderful screened porch with Adirondack chairs to sit in so you can watch over the beautiful and relaxing lagoon. Thank you Rob for offering your home like this! The Hazzards

Very nice place to stay. The price was right and the cabin had PLENTY of space. We had three couples and there was room for more. The hill leading to the water was a little steep but not at all dangerous. Plenty of woods surrounded the property and the stove inside was warm and cozy. There are several places to eat and the food was good. I brought provisions with us and made it nice not to have to go out. There were plenty of dishes and pans available. On the whole, a very nice place to stay. Very private.
