The Unique Benefits at this Condo
We chose this location because it is the best of all worlds. We are a short walk down beautiful tree-lined streets filled with wonderful Victorian houses to some of our favorite downtown restaurants. The shopping is fantastic as well. But then we are across the street from Sunset Beach Park along West Bay where the sunsets are phenomenal. Go in the opposite direction and F&M Park awaits you with grills, a gazebo where there is always entertainment, and beautiful flowers. The TART Trail begins right out our door where you can bicycle along the bay or all throughout town.
Owner's Map of Traverse City
My brother and I bought this condo because we have fallen in love with the Traverse City area. We are from Texas and our summers are insufferable. Our favorite memory of TC is watching the Fourth of July fireworks along West Bay in sweat pants and jackets! That is not something you can ever do in Texas. Our condo is decorated in a nautical style reminiscent of our homes in Texas. We have taken great care to outfit our condo in a style that showcases our concern for the discriminating traveler. Please enjoy our home as much as we do. Frederick Carroll and Carolyn Strand

Love the Blue Heron, the nautical theme and all the decor. We worked a 550 jigsaw puzzle, watched movies and used maps found here- thx! Really felt the southern hospitality with all the extras!

My wife and i have now stayed at the Blue Heron twice, and really enjoyed it both times. It was clean, comfortable, and well furnished. I was particularly pleased with how well the kitchen was furnished since we opted to cook most of our meals there. The one thing that was missing in that regard was wooden spoons. Most people wouldn't care, but they are what I use when I cook. I mentioned this to the owner when she called to check on us the first day, and to my amazement, she had some sent over! I can'[t tell you how pleased I was. This was the first time we have visited Traverse City in the winter and that was a new experience. Despite temperatures close to zero, we were warm and snug in the Blue Heron. Although most people will want to visit Traverse City in the summer, It's a great place to go for a good time in the winter, also. We were able to walk to almost all of the downtown stores and restaurants easily although the weather was brisk to say the least! We had very good meals at two restaurants there, the Bay Leaf, and Chez Peres. I would recommend them to anyone. Chez Peres was open for both breakfast and dinner. I am already looking forward to my next visit.

I highly recommend the Blue Heron. It is beautifully decorated with lots of nice thoughtful touches. I love the location. The easy walk down historic Washington street to the downtown area is immensely enjoyable. The beds are quite comfortable and the condo is very well maintained. Next time I'm in Traverse City, the Blue Heron will be my first choice.

This condo is absolutely fabulous!!! It is very clean with wonderful personal touches throughout. The decor is just lovely, and we felt right at home. We honestly hated to leave! It is close to everything, but it quiet and peaceful as well. The owner is very easy to work with and very kind. We will definitely stay here again!!!

What a beautiful condominium! Everything from the location, to the decor, to the amenities, was perfect! The owners do such a nice job of making the rental feel like home. Special touches like, coffee, shampoo, and lotions really make if feel like a resort. Everything was immaculate and the sheets and towels were pristine! I would highly recommend this rental to anyone who is interested! Just keep it clean! The owners should go into business renting out properties! I would love to rent from them again in the future.

A group of us stayed at this property in September and really enjoyed our stay. These are newly built condos and the owner has done a great job at decorating and making it feel like a home. This is a great location with the beach right across the street and a short distance from Downtown. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling to Traverse City! We hope to stay there again in the future.

A very nice 2 bedroom unit townhouse. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom, plus a half bath in the main living space. Assigned parking. Very nicely appointed and equipped. Nice neighborhood with park on one side and beach on the other. Just a short walk into town, but also very well located to get to anywhere. Owner has provided lots of info about the area to help you. Would highly recommend! Marc & Ruth Jewell, Dayton, Ohio 937-434-3699
