The Blue Heron is located across the street from Grand Traverse West Bay and Sunset Park Beach as well as the ten mile T.A.R.T. trail. Watch the air show and fireworks during Cherry Fest (2008 dates: July 5-12) from the condominium community. A great city park is 1/2 block south of your front door. A short drive away you can enjoy beautiful golf courses, casinos, and wineries. Relax in the Blue Heron's 2 bedrooms as you enjoy the views of West Bay. Each bedroom has a queen bed and its own bathroom. A queen sofa sleeper with a half bath is on the lower level of this two-story retreat. Fall color tours are fantastic as well as the numerous hiking trails within the area. Hikes overlooking Lake Michigan are truly spectacular and Sleeping Bear Dunes are not to be missed. Too tired to go out, enjoy TVs in the living area and the upstairs bedroom with DVD players. A washer and dryer are also provided for your convenience along with Wi-Fi internet. Enjoy bay views, sipping your latest discovery from the local wineries from either balcony. You will never want to leave the ambience of the Blue Heron or Traverse City.
