When you are not relaxing at the beach, collecting shells, body surfing in the clear gulf waters, or swimming in the resort's beautiful pool, you can kick back in this roomy 1400 square foot, first floor condo decorated in delightful tropical colors. Both the master bedroom and the living room have views straight to the gulf coast and the patio is the perfect place to watch the sunset over the ocean.
Since the condo features a completely equipped kitchen, you may choose to make your own fresh seafood dinners or dine out in the dozens of restaurants, many within walking distance, that are in the area. Shopping abounds as do many other recreational activities for both young and old.
Both bedrooms are very large and roomy as are both bathrooms. The bunk beds in the hallway provide a good option for extra guests, and so does the fold out sofa in the living room. Our patio is larger than most patios in the complex and allows for great outdoor entertaining and an easy way to watch members of your family at the pool. We spend countless hours on the patio, reading, sunnning and listening to music inbetween our walks on the beach.

As a Florida native, it took me many years and many homes, before I decided to come back to Florida for at least part of the year. While I grew up on the "Gold Coast", I found the beaches of South Walton to be the beaches most similar to how I remember Florida beaches, quiet, with beautiful sand, clear water and the soothing sound of gentle waves.
Why the Owner Chose Amalfi Coast Resort
Nothing compares to the sugar sand beaches of the Florida panhandle. I have traveled all over the world, every continent except Africa, and I love these beaches best. While I certainly find beauty in Hawaii, Tahiti, the Caribbean and the Mediterranean, I have never have found a beach that feels as peaceful, lovely and intimate as this one.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
My husband is a great cook, and so the fresh seafood available here gives him a chance to practice skills he doesn't use much back in Arizona where we live most of the year. We like to walk for miles on the beach in the morning or late afternoon when it is less crowded and we often have much of the beach to ourselves.
