Fantastic condo and location

My husband and I just spent 3 days at Lisa's condo and absolutley loved it! The condo was clean, comfortable and decorated very cute. Location was great, view was beautiful. We watched dolphins every morning from the balcony, cooked breakfast there before going to the beach and had everything we needed. We ate at several restaurants but recommend fried shrimp at the Shrimp Basket and The Gulf Island Grill within walking distance (about 2 doors down across the street) was great. Would recommend the condo and we will go back when we have a chance.

My girls and I love staying at this condo, it is FABULOUS!! It is always neat and clean and has everything we need to enjoy a relaxing week at the beach! The location is perfect, close to lots of things to do, many we can walk to. The whole complex is friendly and family oriented and the rates are great!

Recommended for:Tourists without a car, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing, families with teenagers.

We loved this condo! It has everything you could need for a home away from home!! Lisa has thought of every detail! From the fine linens to the decor. It is cool, refreshing and comfy. The patio features shutters that can be closed for privacy. Access to the beach is a breeze. The veiw is awesome. We will certainly be back. There is a lot of room for a family and you can walk to most places..The master bedroom is more like a private suite,seperate from the second bedroom. There is access to the patio from the master bedroom .Large window in the master gives you a beautiful veiw to the beach and ocean. What a better wake -up call can you get!! It clean and bright. A must stay in Gulf Shores. Pictures do not do this condo justice. More beautiful than you can see in the photos.

Relaxing Vacation

This unit is just as advertised and as reviewed. We arrived on Saturday and check-in was a breeze. Getting all of our stuff up to the second floor was easy with the provided carts. The unit was clean and cool and very comfortable. My husband and I settled into the master bedroom and had plenty of room for all of our stuff. I loved the walk-in closet. The two teenage boys made themselves at home in the second bedroom. Like all the hooks for wet towels and swim suits. We used the wireless internet constantly - even on the beach with my ipad. After walking the beach for about a mile in both directions, we decided that Castaways offers the best location on the beach. The beach is less crowded than the highrises, beach service is very accomodating and the condo is pretty quiet. The only noise we experienced was from the condo above us, but it was not too bad. The boys enjoyed the pool, and the kitchen was well equipped and allowed me to cook whatever we wanted. The washer and dryer were used all week. Castaways is also very close to great restaurants and easy access to Orange Beach and Foley. Lisa was wonderful to work with, and we plan on returning as soon as we can - hopefully bringing more family with us. You won't go wrong renting this condo.

This was a family vacation and the unit was great. Beautiful view of the ocean, nice pool, easy access to the beach, freindly people at the office, and the whole area inside and out was clean This was our first visit to Gulf Shores and due to the oil spill stituation we were reluctent to come, but Lisa convienced us otherwise and we were glad she did. Lisa was great through our whole process and very accomodating. If we get the chance to return I know where we will be staying. Enjoyed eating at The Original Oyster House, LuLu's, and by suggestion of a local Geleto Joe's great deli food (located in Foley just north of Tanger Outlet Mall). The National Air Museum in Pensicola is a must and not far away.

I cannot say enough about this rental unit. Decorated beautifully and the owner, Lisa, was a pleasure to work with. It is on the 2nd floor so the view is perfect! Everything we needed was right at our fingertips. We will definitely be back again. hopefully before the end of the summer! Thanks, Lisa!

This is a spacious condo in a great location. The master bedroom features plantation shutters, crown molding and a ceiling fan, making it a restful retreat. The second bedroom offers extra bedding in the form of trundle beds. The unit has a HUGE walk-in closet with beach floats and sand buckets provided. The owner is a true professional; a pleasure to do business with. We had a wonderful week in this condo; hope we can go back again!
