Your Blues will be gone immediately as you enter our laid back colorful beach abode. Spend the day playing in the surf on the famous white sand beaches of the Gulf of Mexico, or rent a beach chair and an umbrella and let your mind drift. The beautiful gulf front swimming pool has a lovely waterfall and is partially covered for maximum enjoyment. Or kick back and relax on the balcony or in the living room with incredible views of the dolphins, shrimp boats and pelicans.

The beautifully decorated master suite has a private seating area with the same great views, direct access to the balcony, a walk-in closet, and a private bath. The second bedroom has two twin beds, one of which has a trundle which makes into a king bed; it also has private access to the second bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances and all the utensils you might need to create your own culinary delights. There is also a full-sized washer and dryer in the unit. As evening approaches, prop your feet up on the balcony with your favorite beverage and watch the sunset.

This low density building is located only 1/4 mile east of the main beach intersection, so when hunger strikes, grab your sandals and stroll over to any one of many nearby restaurants for a seafood feast. Along the way, browse through the great souvenir shops. For those who enjoy good music and good cheer, amble on down the beach to the infamous Pink Pony Pub.

So golf all day, shop to your heart's content in the nearby outlet mall, sunbathe and let the kids play, or just enjoy the breathtaking views and gulf breezes. No matter what your preference, Castaways is the place to be. We invite you to come and join the fun - you will adjust to "island time" and never want to leave.

  • This is a spacious condo in a great location. The master bedroom features plantation shutters, crown molding and a ceiling fan, making it a restful retreat. The second bedroom offers extra bedding in the form of trundle beds. The unit has a HUGE walk-in closet with beach floats and sand buckets provided. The owner is a true professional; a pleasure to do business with. We had a wonderful week in this condo; hope we can go back again!

  • I can't say enough good things about this condo...beautifully furnished, everything we needed was provided, and being on the second floor is so convenient! The location can't be beat. Right on the beach in the CENTER of Gulf Shores, easy access to shopping, restaurants, and The Hangout!!   • this is one of the best condo stays we have had!!!! it is everything we expected and MORE. the condo is tastefully decored with a nautical theme and beautiful sea colors.the kitchen is well supplied and there are beach chairs provided. the Castaways complex is small enough to allow for plenty of space on the beach and the pool is both sunny and shaded. we can't wait to schedule for next summer. the owner,lisa is a delight to work with as were the managers. and the location is close to everything you can possible need for a fun filled vacation.

  • Lisa was wonderful to work with and answered all of my questions -- she even called to check on us during our stay. Condo so was close to everything we were even able to walk to shopping & ice cream. Loved the smaller condo complex because there was LOTS of room on the beach/pool for us and our children. We also were able to meet other families at the beach/pool and make new friends. Thank you for a wonderful vacation, we will be back!!

  • We stayed in Castaways 2B in July. The owner, Lisa was very helpful with any questions we had throughout the entire process. The condo was very comfortable and a lot of thought was put into stocking the kitchen with just about anything you would need. The views were spectacular from the balcony. We were lucky enough to see a dolphin the second day we were there. You would think the beach would be crowded in July but it wasn't any of the days we were there. I especially liked being on the second floor. If the elevator was busy, you could just pop right up the stairs. We will definitely go back!
