This home is located at nearly 10,000 feet on 5 acres. Fairplay is only 9 miles, 25 miles to Breckenridge and 20 miles to Buena Vista. A perfect getaway in winter and summer.
You will love this new, custom-built, log home with natural gas fireplace. It has over 1700 square feet of living area with a large deck off the main floor and a small deck off the master bedroom in the loft. A walkout basement provides a second living room with TV, eating area and Jacuzzi bathtub. The home has satellite TV, VCR and Stereo. Outside on the deck is a gas grill and seating area. The views are simply breathtaking and wildlife frequents the area.
One renter from Texas wrote "What a view!! What wonderful decorating and furnishings--you outdid even the best of the places we've ever been before. I can't thank you enough. We will return." Another renter wrote "Thank you for sharing your cabin with us. We have been very busy and it was a great getaway for us. As you can tell my wife loved it-I will contact you in the near future as we would like to come back."

The quiet, peaceful environment and the tasteful decorating (including bears!) make this spotlessly-clean cabin quaint, homey, and cozy. That’s cozy in the best sense of the word, because this cleverly designed log home would be equally comfortable for a romantic getaway for Mama and Papa, or a family excursion with 4 or 5 cubs.
With plenty of fishing, hiking and horseback riding nearby, there is no worry that the cubs will be bored. Just be sure to return home in time to paws and enjoy the un-bear-ably gorgeous sunsets. This cabin has all the amenities for a pleasant extended stay, and Mama Bear will find the jetted tub the perfect way to relax after a busy day.
For comfort and value, this place is a bear’s heaven! (Well, half of it, anyway!)
