This completely renovated 900 square feet two story home is on the ocean block. Being only six houses from the beach means not having to cross the boulevard to get to the guarded beach. On-property parking for up to four vehicles. Central air, wall-to-wall carpeting, ceramic tile kitchen and bathrooms floors, and all new high-end modern appliances makes for a turn-key comfortable vacation setting. For evenings and rainy days there are two color televisions, HBO cable service, DVD, VCR, a stereo and wireless broadband Internet service. Six seasonal beach badges are also included. And to lighten the packing load, freshly laundered linens are also provided.

My fiance and I have rented this house a few times and every time has been just as wonderful. The house is new and the kitchen is newly renovated with a beautiful island. The kitchen has everything you need to make a big dinner or breakfast or anything, it's very well stocked. Every room is clean and very comfortable. The bedding is very clean and very nice quality. I can't ever fully explain what a wonderful house this is. It's absolutely perfect for a family with 2 young ones but we always go just us and the balcony off the master bedroom is amazing. The street is a small street that I've driven right past so many times, so it's a quiet area, no loud obnoxious teenagers. It's not a party town really. ShipBottom is the town that you first come into after getting off the Causeway (Rt. 72) and onto the Island so you don't have to travel too far from either the North or South side of the island because you're right in the middle. The house is about 4 or 5 houses away from the beach with no streets to cross, it's literally a minute walk away. At night you can hear the waves breaking, ahhh I love it. My fiance and I call it "our house" because we love it so lol. I say it isn't a party town, however that doesn't mean it's boring, there are many things to do just in town and many stores (including a ravioli restaurant) right around the corner within walking distance. The owner of this house, is a wonderful person and very helpful, understanding and flexible. One time when we were down we had to get in touch with him and he left us about 3 or 4 numbers so we could definitely get in touch with him and when I had to call his wife's cell phone she was very polite and had him call me very quickly. I am always more than satisified with this house and I am in love with it. It you want a great vacation rental, this is it. There is not one thing I can say bad about this house. We usually go down in the off-season because we like the quiet and to feel like a local instead of a vacationer lol but the house is always warm (he leaves the heat on for us!!) and it's equipped with the latest technology (internet access, HBO, digital cable and washing machine, dryer, large microwave, etc... ) Even your pets are considered! I could go on and on but it's cutting me off so if you're still not sure and this fits your needs, go for this one, I always come back here because no where I've ever been has been as wonderful.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

what a great experience, literally only a few steps to the beach, everything was wonderful and to be able to enjoy our vacation with our pets made it much more memorable. and craig was one of the nicest owners to deal with ALWAYS attentive to all your needs. all around a wonderful experience. thank you:)Recommended for: Pet owners, age 55+.

What a perfect vacation rental. This house is a 1-2 minute walk to the beach, not one street to cross, close to everything you need and want to do on vacation. A very private and spacious back yard with a grill, outside shower and you can hear the ocean at night. Owners are friendly and nearby for help if needed. The house itself is very well kept, clean and updated to provide all the amenities. Our dog enjoyed his stay as well and we were thrilled he could share our vacation! Highly recommend!!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

The house was in a perfect location, clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was provided, and the owner was very accomodating and pleasant to deal with. This was a perfect spring break retreat for our family of four. Clean and updated, reasonably priced, just steps to the beach, and best of all, our dog got to join us! The owner was very attentive and we had everything we needed. Within walking distance were restaurants, grocery store, miniature golf, etc. Fun and relaxing!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
