My husband and I stayed at 22 Rue Rambuteau for four nights during our three-week tour of Europe and we were so pleased with everything. Upon arrival, we met Danny (one of the rental property coordinators). He was very kind and thorough, equipping us with all that we needed to know for our stay. The apartment was clean (especially for European standards), very well taken care of and offers a unique view of Pompidou Centre. The location is superb... quiet in the mornings but with many wonderful eateries just around the corner and extremely convenient for the metro. I would highly recommend staying here!!!

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
As usual the apartment and service was great. This is the third time we have used RentParis and have been more than happy each time. 22 Rambuteau is a great apartment. It has a view onto Centre Pompidou and is conveniently located. There are excellent shops only steps from the front entrance and the Metro is half a block away.

Upon arrival in Paris, I immediately called the Paris agent and he gave me instruction on how to meet him. The hardest part was figuring out the dialing pre-fixes. About a half hour before arriving at the flat I called the agent again to confirm the time. As planned when I was dropped off at 22 rue Rambuteau I was greeted within minutes. I think it was Jean-Pierre? Anyway, he assisted me with my luggage, took me thru the courtyard to the building. He was very friendly and explained everything! When I walked into the apartment I thought, oh dear. This place is not big but it does look like the pictures. Truthfully I didn't expect it to be big. I will say that within a day I was very use to it and felt at home. By the end of the week I felt like a resident of Paris. In general I loved this apartment and would stay here again, here's why - -The location is excellent right in the Marais and within walking distance of many sights. -The neighborhood is excellent. Right outside your door you have a butcher, supermarket, wine store, cheese shop, produce stand, patisseries and boulangeres (plus cafes and bistros). Wake up in the morning and go get a fresh croissant or baguette! -The washer/dryer combination is great. Carry less clothes! Be sure to get instructions on how to use it, there are a lot of dials in French! The machine doesn't wash huge loads and the clothing can come out quite -wrinkled, but the apartment does have an iron. -The bathroom has a nice shower and good water pressure. -The apartment is on the 7th floor and the building has an elevator! -Even though the apartment is small there are tons of windows and it get a lot of light. The views over the roof tops of Paris are great. -The building is very quiet, I never heard anyone. The neighbors are friendly and always greet you with a "Bonjour" or Bonsoir". -The bed is comfortable but if you are use to having 2 people in a queen size bed, be warned! It was nice having a separate bedroom even though it is tiny. -I took the internet option and it worked great. Note - If you take the internet option you get free calls to the United States or wherever home is! -I was there in November and the heaters worked great! -There was a good combo microwave/convection oven. Great for heating things from the market or bread. -All the utensils and kitchen gadgets you will need are here! -The refrigerator was tiny but good enough to hold milk, cheese, meats and other French treats. -What

Nice apt. The elevator worked fine. We did not have problems, as did the previous visitor. The apt. was mostly clean. The floor was a bit sticky and one of the chairs had a large stain (may need some steam cleaning). Great location. The Rent Paris employee was very helpful. Had lots of fun.

The apartment was perfect for me - the elevator was out of service most of the time, which helped me walk off the patisseries, but could have been problematic for others. My only issue was being unable to reach the fellow who showed me the place - I was unable to call him and was told by a recording that I had no access to his number. If there had been a major problem, I would have been in trouble. Other than that, I would return any time.

There was nothing I would change about the apartment. It was fantastic! Very clean, high quality, no problems except that the telephone didn't work. Very minor issue, but we would stay there again and again and again. In fact, I wish we owned the place because it's in a perfect location - especially if you're gay. You're never more than 3 to 5 minutes from everything fun about Le Marais!

Owner response: Hello, Yes, to use the telephone you need a pre-paid phone card, except for local phone calls: all numbers starting with 01 02 03 04 and 05 are free. Cell phone numbers, starting by 06, are not included.
Wonderful apartment. It worked out perfectly as I was joining my daughter for a week at Thanksgiving and it was right in the neighborhood where her classes were held. Would definitly rent it again at any season other than summer when i would want air conditioning -- what can I say, I'm very American. Carlos

A great way to spend time in Paris for business and pleasure - well located, excellent local facilities and much more pleasant than staying in hotels. Will definitely use rentparis again.

I immediately felt right at home - except it was cleaner, in a nicer neighborhood with way better views. I traveled with a lot of camera and computer equipment and it felt good knowing my stuff was safe when I locked the door. The view from "my" place is truly special - world class.

This my second experience with the Rentparis service and I continue to recommend them highly. This particular apartment was delightful. Small, but with all of the necessities, and a great view (even the top of the Eiffel Tower at night). The location is one of the best features as it is a block from the Metro, and within less than a minute's walk to a bakery, butcher shop, grocery mart, and fruit stand. Also, being able to walk to restaurants near the Forum Les Halles area was certainly a treat. Best wishes to Jean-Pierre, Fabrice, and the owner of this apartment.

This was the first time I rented an apartment instead of a hotel, and I will never rent a hotel again if I can avoid it, the experience was so wonderful! When I stay in a hotel, the first thing I want to do in the morning is leave, but this apartment was most comfortable. The location is also great, being close to several supermarkets, boulangeries, pharmacies, etc. I hope to stay in this apartment every time I visit Paris!

What a wonderful place! And what a wonderful service. I am already recommending both the flat and Rentparis to all my friends. I cannot recommend them highly enough. I can't wait to go back. The flat is charming and such a delight, and the owner has gone out of her way to make it an easy and comfortable place to stay. It felt like home!

This apartment is a great place to stay in the Latin Quarter. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen well fitted out and the bathroom is warm and cozy in the winter. The location can't be beat.

Hi, We were very pleased with this appartment, great central location but still pretty quiet. We had also excellent service (we had a problem and it was resolved quickly), and Jean-Pierre, who received us at the appartment, was very nice and helpfull.
