Superbly located in the centre of the Marais, a functional studio in a beautiful quiet street in a secluded inner courtyard. Great place and great service - I got the key and was shown into the appartment as soon as I arrived in downtown Paris.

All in all, the apt was a great deal. When you're visiting a city as expensive as Paris, you don't want to waste money on lodging since you'll only be using it as a place to store bags, sleep & shower. So 7-9 Aubriot fits the bill for 2 people. Note that it is TINY. My friend said bathroom was smaller than ones in Tokyo. While the place is fairly clean, the bath needs help; fan is very weak, so paint is peeling and black mold is visible on ceiling & wall. Shower is absurdly small and drains very slowly. Request: please put a small wall mirror in bedroom so one person can style hair and/or apply makeup while other party is in bath, which currently has only mirror in the place. Also, please add hooks on back of doors so damp towels can hang to dry. We had to use hangers in closet since there are no hooks or towel bars. Otherwise, place is fine, and Fabrice was absolutely lovely to deal with.

Owner response: The apartment and the building has been renovated.
This apartment is small, but comfortable for two people, or for three people who get along well. The neighbourhood is wonderful, and this serves as a great base for exploring Paris, and doing a bit of cooking. The bathroom is tiny, and could use a few hooks. The Rent Paris staff were very pleasant and helpful, and we will book through them again. We would recommend this apartment to our friends.

this was our third stay in this apartment and our sixth stay with rent-paris. each time, without exception, the stays have been great. jean-pierre is an excellent host. this particular apartment is loaded with charm, well located and comfortable...for two. a third person is accommodated in the living room and works well but it is ideally a great little apartment for 2. we will definately be back...either on rue Aubriot or in another of their comfortable apartments.

In an excellent position for a tourist, could walk anywhere. The space was just comfortable for 3 but I would recommend for 2 persons really. Mentioned above, the shower drain seems not to drain well, get rid of the plunger and investigate. I had a confusing experience after booking the apartment, I thought the email communication that I received was from the travel site, as this was not initially clarified I was confused when another name (owner) communicated to me, and then another person met us. I suggest that when communicating with a client you clarify things and not assume we know as being a tourist is an ongoing learning experience. These comments are not to criticise but to make your future business more successful.

Owner response: RentParis is an American and French-speaking team of owners and managers (NOT AN AGENCY) who firmly believe that private studios or apartments are superior alternatives to sterile and often exorbitantly expensive Grand Hotel rooms. Staying in Paris in your own residence means enjoying the pleasure of superb accommodations with unique personal charm in the heart of historical neighborhoods.
We had a wonderful stay at 7 Rue Aubriot. From the warm welcome (even though we were a bit late!) to the free wireless service, our experience with RentParis was excellent. The apartment was simply charming and slept three guests comfortably. We felt safe and welcome in Paris. Merci beaucoup.

Cute and quiet apartment in a wonderful neighborhood, great location just 2 blocks from Rue de Rivoli and easy walk to Hotel de Ville metro stop. Vase of fresh flowers provided by Jean Pierre was a welcoming French touch. We were 3 adults and couch was comfortable to sleep on. Loved it. Sandra

My husband and I spent 2 wonderful weeks in Paris, and the apartment at 9 rue Aubriot was perfect. Jean Pierre met us with the keys, and he was very friendly and welcoming. The location was fabulous (within walking distance to many things), and it was very clean and neat. Very crucial - the bed was VERY comfortable (my husband is 6 ft 2), and the apartment was nice and quiet at night. Yet it was right in the heart of lots of fun action! There is a large closet for clothes (very nice to have), but drawer space was a little limited. We used an open suitcase on the floor as a large "drawer". The kitchen was perfect to make breakfast - fresh croissants from around the corner, and coffee. Washer and dryer worked very well. A few suggestions - there is no place to hang towels - a hook on the bathroom door and on the wall next to the toilet would make things a little easier to organize. Also a soap dish in the shower would be helpful. Shower also did not drain well all the time. All in all - great apartment, and when we come back, we'll stay here again. Merci beaucoup........Anita et Jim

Very comfortable apartment. We enjoy the heating, but also worried about the curtains so close to the heaters! The representatives were very kind, and they called a taxi for our return. Some facilities to hang the towels in the bathroom and to support the soap in the shower would help to improve even more the comfort of the apartment.

I rented an appartment to stay with my friend and her 2-year old child. It is very charming and location is wonderful. We could walk everywhere - particularly important because transport workers were on strike! Jean-Pierre was very friendly. I am recommending your site to all my friends. Excellent alternative to a hotel, particularly for travellers with kids.

Though we had to wait a while for him, Jean-Pierre was extraordinarily friendly and welcoming. Having a quiet apartment on a quiet courtyard on a quiet street was so important after long days in the city. It was clean and cute and the perfect size for two people (a couple and a child could also enjoy it comfortably). The only minor issues: we also worried about the heater setting fire to the curtains, and the shower doesn't drain so well.

We had a wonderful stay! We used the heater because the weather was so cold but worried about the curtains so we would pin them up at night away from the heater. We loved having the washer/dryer! Our daughter had to sleep on sofa cusions on the floor first night as the sofa/sleeper was broken by the next day a new bed arrived! We will definately want to return to Paris and this apt. felt like home to us! The representatives were great and thanks for securing our taxi for our return home. Merci.

The apartment was great. Gorgeous bit of Paris history right close to Metro and RER trains. Both representatives were very helpful. We rang them to say that the shower hose had started to leak and it was replaced with a new one in less that 30 minutes. You can't beat that!

Agent was very friendly and helpful, place was nice and convenient. One wish: we never used a combo washer/dryer before, and written instructions might have helped.

Owner response: :-) Its looks like you didn't see the combo washer/dryer's information in the "Welcome Book".
Very nice apartment with all inclusive, clean and very quiet in a fantastic position. Very nice people as Fabrice and Jean Pierre to the arrival and during all the week. I hope to come back very soon.
