My husband and I, daughter, son and daughter-in-law all enjoyed a truly wonderful week staying in your condo. The condo "fit" us perfectly, and met all of our needs. It was located close by some of the very best beaches where we enjoyed many hours of snorkeling (our equipment) and boogie-boarding (your equipment). We watched the sun set every night from our back yard, and listened to the many birds as we awoke every morning. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to have and share such a remarkable week in Maui. After all of our varied activities, we always knew that we had a comfortable place to return to. MAHALO!!!!!!!

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed in August. The rooms were clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Could use more detergent in the laundry though as it ran out at the end of our trip, The outdoor BBQ was great for cooking and we used it frequently. Since this is a down stair unit, the noise from above may be an issue. We had very quiet first few days until some kids moved in and keep dragging the furniture around. Overall, it is a good experience and I would rent from Debbie again.

We had a wonderful stay at this nicely sized condo. On a scale of 1-10-- an absolute 10! It was very comfortable and homey. The layout is great for privacy when needed and very open for shared activities. Location near the pool was great - and it was never noisy. Seeing the ocean from the lanai was a treat! We had great weather, mild for the time of year. The condo has so many windows that we had a great breeze our whole stay and never had to use the A/C once. We would highly recommend your home to anyone. Mahalo for another great stay in Maui. Tom and Karen

Aloha Debbie, We just got back from our stay at your home in Wailea. It was really wonderful!! On a scale of 1-10-- an absolute 10! It was very comfortable and homey. All the amenities from laundry soap to enough hangers in the roomy closets. Location so close to the pool was great. Gazing at the ocean from the lanai was a treat! We had great weather, mild for the time of year. The condo has so many windows that we had a great breeze our whole stay and never had to use the A/C once. My wife and I recently enjoyed this comfortable and conveniently located condo. Debbie was very helpful in answering our questions before we rented the unit in July. Parking is very near this 1st floor unit and the complex is very low density with beautiful landscaping and views. We enjoyed long daily walks and especially enjoyed the nearby Wailea beaches and beautiful oceanfront walkway in the Wailea resort area. The king bed was comfortable, beach chairs, towels and mats were provided in the condo and barbeque grills are located conveniently (if you don’t use the electric grill on the patio). We enjoyed the sunsets from the two lounge chairs on the patio and the pool is nearby just below the unit. We rarely used the air conditioner because there is a wonderful breeze we enjoyed by keeping the large sliding doors opened. Peaceful, beautiful, well maintained complex with many mature flowering plants and trees to enjoy.

Not What It Appears To Be

My husband and I stayed here for a week and were very disappointed. The main problem was the cockroaches. I called Debbie (manager) when I saw the first one and was told that the condo was recently sprayed and that it is not unusual for a ground floor unit to have cockroaches. She was somewhat dismissive of our complaint. We were vigilant about keeping food & any trash packed away or thrown out, nevertheless, the roaches came back in force. During the day, we counted 6 big cockroaches which was clearly disgusting. They were about 2 inches long and very scary. I slept on the couch, with the lights on, the last few nights. I’ve never been so happy to leave a place. My husband said “never again.” We travel extensively and have stayed in a lot of places all over the world and I saw more cockroaches in this Wailea condominium than I have seen anywhere else in our travels. Be forewarned!

Owner response:I am sorry they had such a bad experience in our condo. I talked with them twice on the phone. I was not dismissive and followed up with them after every conversation. They did not want anyone to come in and try to take care of this for them. Her husband was recovering from surgery and they wanted to be left alone. I did everything I could to make any concerns better for them. They said it was fine, they would be ok with things the way they were and I never heard from them again. I did all they would let me do to make their stay better. We have a professional cleaning company, we spray regularly for any bugs, this had nothing to do with cleanliness or up keep of our condol. ALL OF WAILEA HAD AN OUT BREAK AT THIS TIME AND EVERYONE WAS SPRAYING SO THEY HAD TO COME OUT. Sorry they had to experience this, but everyone in Wailea at this time had a similar experience. We did all we could for them.

Our Christmas in Maui was fantastic! We loved the location of this rental property, easy to accommodate everyone's needs. The large sitting room has great seating space with a great T.V. We really liked having the grassed area off the patio. This unit is really well equipped with cooking utensils that we were able to make any type of meal we wanted. I have definitetly kept the number of this unit for future references and am suggesting it to those who are thinking of heading to Maui.

We loved the location and comfort of the condo with its spectacular sunsets every evening. The pool was only a few steps out the door. There's a great beach less than 5 minutes drive with adequate free parking and free beach chairs available. It was our first trip to Maui, and we could not have asked for a better location. We would definitely stay here again.

Thank you so much for a fantastic stay in Maui. The condo was perfectly located for us on the south side of the island. Unlike west Maui, it is conveniently located for more local feel (kama'aina). The unit is large and spacious with a great lanai for cocktails and a sunset view.

We stayed over two weeks during the summer months of 2008. The condo was clean and the location was absolutely perfect. The grounds are beautifully kept and the complex was quiet. The proximity of the condo to the pool was so close we could raise our voices a bit to tell the "girls" that it was mealtime. One complaint was that there wasn't the chairs and boogie boards as mentioned in the condo description. We ended up having to buy more. There were some kitchen items lacking that we had to purchase as well but overall would recommend the condo wholeheartedly. We would (and likely will) absolutely stay there again.

Owner response:We do our very best to keep everything avalible to all of our guests. We replenish kitchen items and beach items a few times a year. Everything else is maintained by maintenance company after each guest's stay.

Our family of four had a truly wonderful week! The sunset view from the lanai is outstanding, and the grounds are simply beautiful. We had easy access to nearby beaches, and everything we needed to enjoy our beach visits was already at the condo. I highly recommend the accommodations and hope to return!

Beautiful condo! It’s spacious, clean and nicely decorated with a great view to the ocean. It’s well-equipped with everything we needed for a great vacation. The Ekolu complex is quiet and the grounds are immaculately landscaped with palm trees, plants and flowers. Some of the most beautiful beaches in the world are nearby in Wailea and Makena. Everything was perfect. I hope I can stay in this condo again next year.

I would highly recommend this condo to vacationers planning on staying in Wailea. It was quiet and very relaxing. The condo was everything that we wanted and more. Having the pool so close by was an added bonus!

We had a lovely stay. Very clean, airy and easy to access the lovely beaches, dining, golf and shopping in the area. Grilling fresh fish on the lanai and watching the gorgeous sunset were the among the highlights of the trip!

This condo was homey and very comfortable; we really looked forward to coming back to it after hiking Haleakala or relaxing at the nearby beaches. We also loved having our breakfast on the lanai while staring out at the ocean. The owner was very pleasant and easy to work with - I would definitely rent this condo again.

The condo is great! Well located in Wailea - quiet but enough activity around. The pool is right by the lanai. The sunets are lovely. And the South Maui Beaches like Chang's and Poloalenalena offer some of the best snorkeling with turtles and scores of fish close to the beaches.

Wow, loved this condo! Very comfortable, clean and amazing views. Close to everything you want to do. Did not want to leave the evenings watching the sunset from the patio, it was wonderful! Will be going back soon!!!
