Knickerbocker Lake Cottages is located on a beautiful lake in the Boothbay Region on the coast of Maine. Boothbay Harbor is well known as one of the premier boating centers along the New England coast. You may spend your time exploring secluded coves, browsing among the many little shops in the Harbor, or taking advantage of the numerous scenic cruises or sport fishing trips available. There are many fine restaurants where you can enjoy fresh Maine seafood. Our four cottages are in a private wooded area on a secluded end of the lake, just a short walk away from Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. We have a roomy, central grassy area, and a sandy beach ideal for swimming. We provide rowboats and a canoe for fishing (bass and trout) or exploring other parts of the lake. It's about a one mile walk or ride to the center of Boothbay Harbor. Some things nearby you may enjoy are; nature trails, golf, tennis, art galleries, craft shops, museums, ocean beaches, and sailing. We can accommodate larger family groups in either the White cottage/Chesuncook cottage combo or the large Cedar cottage.

CEDAR COTTAGE - spacious 3 bedroom waterfront cedar log home - 1st floor large bedroom with QUEEN SIZE bed - 1st floor small bedroom with 2 bunk beds - 2nd floor large bedroom with QUEEN SIZE bed - (plus loft above the screen porch with water view ) -full baths upstairs and downstairs (roomy tile shower and clawfoot tub)- screened porch with fireplace - large modern kitchen - local phone and cable tv
WHITE COTTAGE - 2 bedrooms (1 QUEEN SIZE & 2 single beds) - screened porch and open deck on water's edge - tub/shower - -separate bunk house w/double bed available (add $100.00/wk+$7.00 St.Sales Tax)
CHESUNCOOK COTTAGE(near white cottage) - 1 bedroom (1 DOUBLE BED) - screened porch and large open deck with water view - stall shower - (does not have complete kitchen)
BROWN COTTAGE - 1 bedroom w/ KING SIZE bed (plus small bunk room w/single bed) - wood stove - open deck on water's edge - large stall shower - separate bunk house w/double bed available (add $100.00/wk+$7.00 St.Sales Tax)(sheets are provided for king-size bed)
