Love to ski or snowboard? Either walk 5 min to the base or jump on the funicular and enjoy the fresh powder slopes of The Canyons, the Country's largest single ski & snowboard resort (over 3,700 acres of skiable terrain)! Known for long, wide open runs, the Canyons Mt. Resort is a favorite for beginners to advanced skiers/snowboarders. In addition, cross country skiing, ice skating, sledding, snowmobiling and sleigh rides are close by. For the young at heart, experience the Alpine Coaster -- one of the few roller coasters in the snow. Or take a romantic sleigh ride to a wonderful dinner at one of the high mountain yurts.
Want to explore Park City in the Summer? Hop on your bike or walk out with your hiking boots -- the Canyons ski slopes are a mecca for hikers and bikers. Additionally, rock climbing, world class fly fishing, hot air ballooning, horseback riding, and all types of water sports (water skiing, wake boarding and windsurfing) are close by. One mile away is the Olympic Park (home of the 2002 Winter Olympics) where you can learn to ski jump with the US Ski Team (and land in a pool of water), ride zip lines, bobsled rides or try the Olympic luge (at speeds up to 70 MPH). Enjoy golf? More than 7 exceptional golf courses are close by. Disc golf? On eof the leading disc golf courses is located right on the mountain. Park City is truly an outdoor enthusiasts heaven!! Why the Owner Chose Canyons Townhome
We love the Canyons with the wide open ski runs in the Winter and the endless biking & hiking trails in the Summer. Their ski school is fabulous with great instructors that make it fun for the kids (we've put our 3 kids in ski school for the last 5 years and they are now fabulous skiers; may beat us down the mountain sometime soon). When we are too wiped out for any more sports, my daughter and I love to go shopping at the various stores and boutiques around town! And at the end of the day, one of our favorite restaurants in town is just a short walk up the hill. Everything we love to do is right out our door.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome
In the winter, we love the fact that we can just walk up to the gondola and get onto the mountain before anyone else. The resort is so close, with all the fun resort activities -- music, restaurants, night time events, etc. But yet we still have our own kitchen to cook family meals and sit around and talk about the day's fun.
In the summer, we love the hiking, biking, frisbee golf out the doot. And all year round, we use the swimming pools, hot tub & sauna!!

My husband and I love skiing and looked into buying a place in Tahoe, California. But the traffic and long drive from the Bay Area kept us away. A friend suggested we try Park City. And like many people, we came for the snow but also fell in love with the area in the summer. Our kids look forward to our vacations in Park City and have made lots of friends here. We all love the skiing and boarding in Winter, and biking, hiking and water sports in the Summer. This has truly become our "special family place".

"The condo was perfect for our group of 6 older adults. It was very clean, appointed with new furnishings, and had all of the amenities and comforts we are used to in our own home. We were close to town for easy access to shopping and restaurants, while having great outdoor activities right outside our front door. I stayed at the Red Pines Condominium and had a fabulous time! The location was perfect, within walking distance to The Canyons resort, hot tub and swimming pool, and relaxing spa called Papillou. The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped with state-of-the-art appliances and the living room has a flat screen TV and fireplace! Each evening after skiing, the eight of us cooked a large dinner, drank wine and played games by the fire! What more can you ask for!!! Annie H, Boston, MA

This townhouse is nice and very close to The Canyons base (10 minute walk) and also close to the free bus system. The location is great - we played in the snow in the back and enjoyed a fire at night. Would rent again. Good for families.
Recommended for:Families with young children, families with teenagers.
