Located at Bathtub Beach, one of the North shores best beaches on the Island of Oahu.

This Beautiful Central Air Conditioned Two Bedroom Home has been totally remodeled from the inside out, complete with New Appliances, Cabinets, Granite Counter tops, Travertine Floors, Interior and Exterior Walls, Doors, Windows and Furnishings and fully landscaped. The Beds are Queen’s and there is a single size Pune'e in the living area as well as the second bedroom. It’s off street parking provides additional Security and Privacy.

This home is approximately 1400 square feet and Beach front with Double Patio Doors allowing an expansive unobstructed view of the Pacific Blue. This view is available while lying in the Queen bed of the Master Bedroom which also has it's own Bathroom. The Homes open air design allows Conversation and Ocean View from Kitchen, Dining and Living Area. Step out the Patio Doors onto the wrap around Ohi’a wood deck and relax. The Kitchen has all Stainless Steel Stove, Refrigerator, Dishwasher and above Stove Microwave. Of course, there are Counter top Appliances.

The Beach here is protected by a natural reef occurring about 50 feet from the shoreline. At low tide, the water is trapped within and is warmed by the sun giving the area it's name, Bathtub Beach. Fish, swim, snorkel, or wade in these calm protected waters where there are no rip currents or undertows. Excellent for children or those a bit more shy of the open ocean. Slip on your mask and snorkel and a quick dip in the pond will introduce you to some of the Pacific's inhabitants. Crabs, Octopus, and seasonal schools of small fish arrive seeking protection in these warm waters, but 5 pounders have been caught in the pond by a lucky few. Hop over the reef and the snorkeling gets even better.

A stroll across the street will bring you right to the Polynesian Cultural Center, one of Oahu’s top Visitor attractions. Get a three day pass and simply walk back home for lunch, dinner or a dip to cool off. Grocery shopping, gas, banks, chain restaurants, local stores and restaurants all within a mile or two. Turtle Bay and Sunset Beach just a few more miles.

Another great place at a great price giving you more than a set of key’s!

Awesome view. Beautiful home. Excellent vacation!

Mahalo! We really enjoyed our stay in your home. The two bedroom, two bathroom setup was perfect for our family of 4 (2 teenage girls). Thank you for all of the info you gave us re activities and restaurants. The home was clean, tidy, comfortable...exactly as it appeared in the photos, except we were a bit surprised by the lack of sandy beach directly in front of the home...perhaps because we came in the winter? The view of the ocean was amazing; we even saw a huge sea lion on our last morning. The only downside was the very strong, persistant, cool wind coming off the ocean...again, maybe because it was winter? It made sitting outside of the home difficult at times, however we did find lots of beautiful beaches and interesting towns within a 40 minute drive either direction from the home, so no problem:) We really had an amazing Christmas vacation on your beautiful island. Thanks Nancy, Bill and Ohana! ________________________________________

Owner response:Aloha Janice and Mike. Glad you enjoyed your stay and our "List of Things To Do". Unfortunately, Here in Hawaii, Winter swells and tides do take sand from the beach, but it returns in the spring. Winter also increases the tradewinds and this winter has been particularily breezy and rainy, but at least it did'nt snow :). Not sure which endangered Monk Seal you saw as there are several who are regulars who like to sun on the reef or in the pond. Hope to see you again. Aloha and ahui ho ! Nancy and Ohana

The Perfect Vacation Rental in Laie

Guest: Anonymous
Date of Stay: 12/09/11 Review Submitted: 01/08/12

I have stayed many times in Laie and this house is definitely one of the better properties that I have stayed at. Everything is well maintained, very clean (which is of utmost priority for me) and modern. The property is exactly like the pictures which sometimes is not the case, but here the pictures are a true reflection of the property. The kitchen has great appliances and countertops and is large and roomy making it very functional for cooking meals. The bathrooms are very nicely done with great stone showers. The view out the living room sliding glass doors is truly remarkable. Parking is also great at this property which isn't always the case in Laie. Nancy and Bill are only a phone call away if you need them, but otherwise let you enjoy your holiday. With this property, I can say that I don't feel the need to try out another vacation rental for my stays in Laie. I will definitely book here for my next visit to the North Shore and so should you!

Owner response:Aloha Michelle. Mahalo for your review. We're glad all went well with your stay and that you feel the property was well represented. We believe what you see is what you should get. Best of luck to your "New Student" and we hope to see you again (before Graduation !) Aloha and ahui ho ! Nancy and Ohana, Giving you more than a set of keys !

Great Trip!

Guest: Sarah S-A (Colorado)
Date of Stay: 03/21/10 Review Submitted: 04/03/10

Our trip to Oahu was wonderful, and this house was a big part of that! The house was well maintained and very clean. The views from the house of the beautiful ocean were our favorite part. We had 4 adults and a toddler with us, and the house fit us perfectly. It was so nice to have a washer/dryer there, we took home all our clothes clean! We grilled several nights....ahi, shark, mahi mahi, marlin, kalbi beef and chicken. Every morning after breakfast, we went down to our little beach until the tide got high around 11am. My daughter loved playing with the sand toys from the house. We even saw a whale playing in the ocean from the patio one morning! Nancy was very helpful to us before and during the trip. I would recommend this house to anyone who is wanting a nice quiet trip away from all the busy tourist areas. The drive to Waikiki/Honolulu is about 1hr away. The shrimp trucks in Kahuku (Fumi's) had delicious coconut shrimp and the roadside fruit stands had the best mango I have ever eaten! We enjoyed going to Hale'iwa to watch the big waves and eat shave ice. We really enjoyed eating at Cholo's Mexican restaurant there...fresh ahi fish tacos were great. The Polynesian Cultural Center is literally across the street, and had a great luau buffet and night show call Ha: Breath of Life. Thanks for a great trip! Can't wait to return!

Owner response:WOW!! What a Great review of the home and your trip. Sounds like you were very busy the entire trip. Glad you enjoyed the house and the beach. We are always happy to help our guests in any way we can to help them have a memoriable vacation here in Hawaii. We hope to see you all again in the future. It was a pleasure meeting all of you. Aloha, Nancy and Bill

Hi Nancy and Bill. Sorry it took a while for me to get down to writing this: The photos on the website do not do justice to this gorgeous home and its excellent amenities. The home is tastefully furnished, welcoming, and clean. Our kids spent many hours on Bathtub beach and neighborhood beaches. With the Polynesian Cultural Center across the road and nearby North shore area, we only went to Honolulu once during our entire 12 day stay! This quiet part of Oahu offers so much that we didn't need to go far to have fun. Definitely ideal for a family with young children like ours.

Owner response:Aloha Hazel, Mahalo for your kind comments about the house. It was a pleasure meeting you and your family. We are glad you enjoyed the Bath Tub beach, house and surrounding North Shore. Look forward to your visit in the future. Mahalo, Bill and Nancy

We had a wonderful time during our stay at this location. It is one of the most beautiful places we've stayed in. You can't beat this breathtaking oceanfront location; your own stairs to a calm, secluded beach. And the protected waters were great for our toddler. She loved playing in the sand, and found baby fish and even sand crabs on the exposed rocks during low tide. The house itself is gorgeous; beautiful stone floors, kitchen, LCD TV, and central Air, which was particularly important to some of our party. The lawn is expansive, and my daughter loved running and chasing the bocci balls around! Nancy and Bill were very helpful, even loaning out some sand toys for my daughter to use. The tip about the Superette for the marinated meats was great – we had delicious BBQ for several nights while enjoying the sunset and sound of the waves. All in all, a beautiful setting which made our vacation even more delightful. We’ve told many people about our experience already, and hopefully we can bring our parents back for a relaxing anniversary and joint 70th birthday celebration next year. Thanks, Jen and Ohana.

Owner response:Aloha Jen and Ohana. Mahalo for initiating our newest property into the fold and telling others of this unique and tasteful home. It truly has a GREAT beach for youngsters (of age or heart) and we're so glad your Daughter experienced the Pacific Ocean and a few of it's inhabitant's in their natural environment. Looking forward to meeting your Parents next year. Aloha and ahui ho ! Nancy and Ohana
