Kihei Surfside offers activities for all ages. Over an acre of manicured lawn provides space for shuffleboard, a nine-hole putting green, active games, and sunbathing. The heated pool is popular at all times of the year
The atmosphere at Surfside is unique. Guests are frequently invited to participate in pot-luck meals on holiday occasions. These are great opportunities to meet guests from all over the world. Coffee is served in the back yard every morning, Monday through Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Extended families will often book several units at Kihei Surfside for re-unions and special events. Our back yard has been the site of many weddings.
Unit 210 was recently remodeled and since we visit at least once each year, we assure that everything is in fine working order for you. A king size bed is in the master bedroom and a pull-out queen bed is available in the living room. The apartment has one and one half bathrooms. All linens and towels are provided along with beach towels, beach chairs, and a beach umbrella. There is a hairdryer, iron, and ironing board for your use. A coin op laundry is located on the main floor.
Our well-appointed kitchen has everything you need for dining in if you so choose. Modern appliances include a side-by-side fridge, self-cleaning stove, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, blender, and hand mixer. If you enjoy baking, and cooking, all the necessary bowls, measuring cups and spoons, etc. are also in the kitchen, and there is ample counter space. Set your table in the dining room or step out onto the lanai and enjoy the spectacular back yard.
Watch small boats departing from the boat launch. Observe humpback whales during winter months. Take a short walk (less than one minute) to Keawakapu Beach, one of the finest beaches in Maui, or walk the nature path to the boat launch, and on to the Kamaole Beaches for a longer hike.
To keep you connected with home, internet and phone services are available. Free long distance and internet services will be available by mid September 2008. A television with full cable has DVD and VHS components for evening enjoyment. There is a radio and a CD player for your use.
While staying at 210 Kihei Surfside, take time to sign and read all the comments left by previous guests in our guest book. This is a great source of ideas for activities. We encourage you to add your experiences and tourist recommendations to the book.
Visit a tropical plantation, a former whaling community, a Maui winery, the aquarium, a dormant lava flow, exotic shopping centers. Golfing, dining, surfing, beach walks, snorkeling, etc. are just minutes away. Take sunset sailing and dining trips. Drive up to the top of Mount Haleakala and look out across an awesome 10-mile volcanic crater.
