Spacious 2 bedroom / 2 bath top floor condo with a vaulted ceiling in the living area and a sleeper loft.
This is a Top Floor Loft Unit........ not to be confused with some lower level units listed! The difference with the top floor units is that the dining/living room area and the Master Bedroom have vaulted ceilings compared to the standard lower ceiling which gives it a much more open, roomier feel. Also has a spiral staircase to a loft area which in our case serves as a third bedroom. Also, the views are considered better from the deck as it's higher and the deck also has a vaulted ceiling, that also allows more windows for a nicer outside view when sitting inside in the kitchen/dining/living room area!

Relax in our beautiful, fully furnished home away from home.
We are located at the top of "Echota on the Ridge" in the small town of Foscoe, just minutes from Boone, Banner Elk and Blowing Rock. Grandfather Mountain and the Blue Ridge Parkway are just a short drive away.
And when we say top of the mountain, we mean the TOP of the mountain!
"Echota on the Ridge" is beautifully situated atop the ridgeline where the views are as unforgettable as the memories! Located on 97 scenic acres, this gated community features breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Spectacular ridge-top views abound from our spacious 2 bedroom / 2 bath condo. We are in a top floor unit with a vaulted ceiling in the living area and a sleeper loft.
Our unit will comfortably sleep up to 6 people.
We have a king size bed in the Master bedroom, beautiful armoire that when opened reveals a 32-inch, LCD flat screen TV and DVD player.
Master bedroom also has its own private bath and dressing area.
You can access the deck directly from your room!
The 2nd Bedroom has a queen size bed along with all of the amenities.
Enjoy a book or watch TV on the 20-inch LCD TV and DVD player.
Loft area features 2 twin beds. It also has its own TV and DVD player, perfect for letting the kids unwind and be kids.
Relax in the Family Room and enjoy the 42-inch LCD wide Screen TV w/ cable or watch a movie on the DVD player. Or if you are in a more mellow mood, turn on the deluxe sound system and enjoy some music from the local radio stations, or your favorite CD's will play in the DVD player. Outside deck speakers allow you to enjoy music as you sit on the deck and gaze out across the mountain ridges.
If you aren't in the mood for that, light the gas fireplace and snuggle up with a good book and maybe a glass of wine!
We have a selection of Family / Kid DVD's as well some board games if you feel like staying in -
Whether you want to cook or order some carry out, our beautiful dining set will comfortably seat 6 - or set the kids at the breakfast bar counter on one of the 2 stools.
If you choose to cook, you should find all of the essentials that you'd need to put a quick meal together
2nd Bathroom has a full tub and shower -
But we saved one of the best features for last, our BALCONY! After all isn't that one of the reasons we love the mountains, the beautiful view! Nothing does more for the psyche than to relax in one of the gliders and stare out at the panoramic mountain views. Absolutely breath-taking!
Table and benches are available on the balcony for outdoor dining.
If you feel like a swim, enjoy one of the two pools on the grounds.
The resort has both an indoor pool and fitness center, or you are just a short walk from the beautiful new Clubhouse (it's absolutely gorgeous). The Clubhouse is the perfect place to play a game of pool, swim in the outdoor pool, and workout on the exercise equipment, connect to the free internet, or just sit and enjoy the comfort while watching the big screen TV or reading a book.

This is our 4th time staying in Echota and we enjoyed it thoroughly this year...Thank you for letting us enjoy your beautiful home in the mtns. My grandson enjoyed sleeping in the loft...the view was phenomenal....we have been coming to this area for 15 years and we really like the area...the boys enjoyed the fishing and I enjoyed the wonderful temperatures and the beauty of the mtns. I felt like I was on top of the world. Thank you again and many blessings to you and your families.

WOW! We couldn't be more pleased with the accommodations!!! What a beautiful place to vacation! The surroundings were absolutely gorgeous and the condo was so nicely decorated. We felt so comfortable and at home. Myself, my daughter and 3 granddaughters had a fabulous "girls" week in July 2010. We will definitely return next year! Amazing!!!!!

Our second stay during May 8-11, 2009 was very enjoyable. My daughter graduated from AppState on Sunday (Mothers' Day)with a MS degree and the weather was just divine. The views from the balcony were breathtaking and the condo was as beautifully appointed as we remembered from the first time, with improvements. Over the past 3 decades we have stayed in more than a hundred facilities and vacation rentals. This one rates in the top 5.

Our stay here was absolutely wonderful. Being on top of the mountain was so peaceful, definitely a good place to get away. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that is looking a quite weekend away.
