The Cedar Guest Cottage is a private, secluded 800 square foot cottage in the woods. Situated 3 miles from the Bainbridge ferry, the cottage is centrally located for easy access to all activities. It is furnished with everything a visitor would need for a weekend escape or a month long stay. There is a separate bedroom with a queen bed, down comforter and picture window. In the open living area there are two twin beds, a large TV, CD and DVD player, a fully equipped kitchen, and a writing desk.
Bainbridge Island is a scenic 35 minute ferry ride directly west of Seattle. Known for its award winning gardens and awe inspiring scenery, Bainbridge is home to many artists, photographers, writers and nature enthusiasts. Easily accessible by car ferry, the island is approximately one hour from the Seattle-Tacoma airport (including ferry ride.) The island boasts many unique offerings for the physically active and the not so actively inclined. The following are some of the options: Seasonal farmers market, festivals, art galleries, local artists open studios, book stores, fine dining, live theater, live music, wine tasting, Two state parks with shoreline access, The Bloedel Reserve, garden tours, hiking trails, bicycling on rural roads, kayaking, sailing, golf, beach combing, wildlife observing: bald eagles, great blue heron, white tail deer, howling coyotes....or just doing nothing! |
