We are a chilean family and went to Miami (with my husband, our daughters, son in law and granddaughter) because our youngest daughter was getting married and that was our bridal shower for her. It was our third time in Miami, but the previous times we stayed in hotels and in this we wanted something more familiar. The apartment is clean, spacious. It`s a bit old but anyway is a place that made us feel at home. It has everything you need to spend a pleasant holiday, even had beach toys, which were used by our granddaughter. When we were there, they were remodeling the building, so the pool was not working, but that was no problem for us. The building has direct access to the beach in a quiet and pleasant area. Stephanie, the owner, from the beginning, was very friendly. We gave all the information and facilities we needed. We recommend this place anyway!! And thank you very much, Stephanie.

We were familiar with the building (had stayed there twice in other apartments) but this is the best of all. The location and facilities are superb, but above all, the owner (S...) went out of her way to accomodate our needs and quickly solve a minor malfunction in one of the bathrooms. She maintained frequent contact with us, even prior to our arrival, to make sure our trip down was progressing well and she gave us detailed instructions to insure that our check-in was trouble-free. She contributed greatly to our very pleasant vacation experience; one of the best (if not the best) the eight of us have had. We wholeheartedly recommend this property and look forward to future vacations at the same place.

Romantic Vacation

Every June my fiance and I go on vacation for a nice romantic getaway. We've been to Punta Cana, Jamaica and most recently, Miami Beach, Florida. Our Miami trip was by far the best of all!!! Stephanie provided us with her 2 bedroom apartment located at the Pavilion on Collins Ave. From the minute we walked into the lobby, to the time we left 7 days later, our whole trip was perfect. Upon arriving at the Pavilion, we were greeted by the friendly valet staff who helped us with our luggage and escorted our rental car to the parking garage. We then proceeded to the front desk where checkin took us no less then 5 minutes and was as easy as "pie". The minute we walked into the apartment we felt at home. The entire apartment was completely spotless from top to bottom and there was a lovely printout of Stephanie's favorite eatery's and recommendations within the area. Then came the realization that we were staying in a gorgeous apartment right on the beach and truly began our vacation together as a couple. Being anxious to begin our vacation, we were pleasantly surprise to find, beach chairs, umbrellas and a foot ball to take to the beach. The beach setting was exactly what we wanted, serene, quiet and of course beautiful. We spent most of our days traveling throughout Miami, exploring the town and most of our nights having romantic dinners at the local restaurants (most of which Stephanie had suggested).Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end, but, as upset as we were knowing our trip would be finished, we were happy in knowing that we had found "our" vacationing spot that we would return to for the rest of our lives:) Thank you so much to the Florida residents, the staff at the Pavillion and of course Stephanie!!!

Stephanie came to our rescue after we lost $1500 in a rental scam on a different vacation rental website. This property is right on a great beach in a very nice area of Miami. It is just as pictured, very spacious and easily accommodated our group of six people. The views from the apartment were beautiful. Public transportation was easily accessible - a bus stop is right in front. It is a short taxi ride from South Beach and restaurants. This rental had everything that we needed. We would definitely recommend it!

Hello ! My family with friends stayed here from the 2nd to the 8th of January 2010. We liked the apartment very much. It contains plenty of room for at least 6 people. We were 8 people and it worked out very well. The kitchen is fully equiped, and there was no problem to cook dinner for all of us. We had a little bit of bad luck with the weather but we were at least able to take a swim in the pool a couple of times. I am glad to recommend this Condo to everyone who are in a need of a pleasant stay in Miami.

I stayed there for the month of feb 2010.I stayed there by myself a single women and felt very secure and safe.I did have people visit and the place is big enough for 6-8 people and in each of the bedrooms there is a TV so if you want to be by yourself you can very easily do that.I brought my dog with and its a great place for dogs.There is a grassy area behind the condo where you can take your dog and feel safe even for those late night poddy runs.The beach is just a few steps from the condo which was what I was looking for.There is a large deck off the back of the condo building which was great to hang out and read and enjoy the ocean view.The sunsets over the city were beautiful to see from the condos balcony.I would highly recommend the condo the building is very clean and people were friendly and helpful.Stephanie is wonderful to work with. I really want to stay there again next year..

We stayed for 1 week and enjoyed the condo. Good size condo (which is hard to find); we were trying to find enough space for 6 people and not be on top of each other. Nice location on the beach, but not much within walking distance. Valet parking for 1 car included and was very nice. Owner was great - easily contacted via email before and during our stay, very responsive to any questions or needs that we had. I wish all owner's of rentals were as helpful. There were no hidden fees; easily paid for the stay on Paypal securely.

This was our second year staying here. Just as before it was great. The homewoner now has high speed internet service which was absolutely great. The photos posted represent a true picture of unit. Very spacious, clean and convenietly located to everything. If you don't have a car don't worry you have great public transporation at your door step. I encorouge everyone to stay here. We are looking forward to next year.

We were happy with our stay here. The owner was very helpful. She advised us regarding any questions or arrangements we needed prior to our stay, came to show us around upon our arrival and was responsive during our stay. We were 4 adults and one child and were very comfortable in the space. The photos attached to this listing are representative of the unit. The pool is wonderful, large and heated. The access to a great stretch of beach was also very good. The kitchen appliances and utensils were clean and useful.

We stayed here for 9 days in February 2009 and had a wonderful time. The condo is very spacious with two well furnished bedrooms and a roomy dining room / living room area. The kitchen was nicely sized and all appliances clean and in good condition. The pool and beach area are really nice. The owner was very responsive to questions and had a minor problem fixed as soon as we brought it to her attention. Overall, recommended.

I am a journalist from Europe, and I was in this apt. for one month, from Feb-Mar 2009. The place is great,big and clean. Stuff in the building is really nice. We (my girlfriend and me+ some friends) enjoy every minute of being there. We were spending our time down the stairs on the clean swimming pool or on the beautiful sandy beach. You can trust the owner 110% since it is really fair and everything there was like promised in the add. We need to work from there and since public wireless internet was down, the owner of the unit was that nice, to install a private modem in the apt. So now, you can surf the very fast net all over the apt. Each time, when you will be sending emails to your family, far away home, you should said a BIG thanks to me,for that. He, he, he)))))) Truly recommended

This has been a wonderful vacation, beautiful beach and lovely apartment. My husband and I spent a great vacation with our two kids and the layout of the apartment gave us all enough space so that we were not on top of each other. It is big and very comfortable and was perfect for our family getaway. We'll definitely be back!

This apartment is wonderful... like a home away from home but better because the building is ON the ocean! Just a quick elevator ride will take you to a delicious beach or the building's pool - both for locals only. Once back upstairs, the apartment itself is quite cozy yet large; a nice kitchen to cook in, a great dining area, TV with cable and comfy sofas, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and a great little balcony to hang out on. The people in the building are easy-going and parking is pretty simple - though it's valet only! But that makes your life a whole lot easier! An great experience all-around and better than a hotel in so many ways. Would stay here every weekend if my time let me! Wor

We stayed at this unit for 14 days the first two weeks in July. The condo was very spacious and clean. This unit faces Collins Avenue which we loved. We could sit outside on the balcony at night time and enjoy the beautiful bay views while having a nice glass of wine. The best, was the location - great large pool and you walk right to the beach. Included was valet parking, the guys were really quick in getting your car. By the second day they already new you. The building is very well maintain, the security guards were great, we got to know every one on staff. I recommend this unit, you will not be dissappointed, the owner was great to deal with. She met us at the property when we arrived, and showed us around. We were a total of four people with a small dog and had more than ample room. Don't hesitate to rent this condo. We are already planning for next year.
