Home rental review
What a fantastic home! We rented it for a get together with my daughters and their families. We had 4 children that were 3 and under. We found gates for the stairway and lots of fun toys! The upstairs was perfect for all of them. The bathrooms were gorgeous, plenty of towels. My husband and I had a large master suite that was great as well. The kitchen and dining area were perfect and the family room area was cozy and had a gas fireplace. Kim was fantastic to work with and provided lots of info and was patient with my endless emails. We enjoyed the neighborhood and loved the area. Short walk to the charming town. Loved our stay!

Great mini-ski getaway
Great mini-ski getaway
We rented the house thru Kim whow was a pleasure to deal with and answered all my questions very quickly. The house is perfect if you want to go skiing (butternut is less than 5mins), want to spend time in Great Barrington (walkable but driving is easier and plenty of parking) or just want to hang out with friends. The house fit 10 of us with no problems. The dining table was perfect and we used it all wknd long not just for dinner, but to play games on as well. We had a mini fire outside just to get a change of scenery and we enjoyed the gas fireplace as well. We used the kitchen a lot and with the grocery store right down the street it was easy to make whatever we wanted. The house looks like it has been remodeled recently with beautiful bathrooms. The living room was a little small but once again, with the large dining table there was plenty of seats available. Would def rent this house again

Owner response: Thanks Seema! So glad you enjoyed your ski getaway! I just wanted to comment that the walk is a lot easier and more pleasant in the summer when parking in town is also less plentiful!
Great place and great location
Great place and great location
I rented this place with a group of friends for the weekend in September 2010 and it was the perfect accommodation for us. The house was very clean and had plenty of room for our group of 10. It looked exactly like the pictures online. The location was ideal. We walked down to town on Saturday and enjoyed browsing the shops after we had breakfast at a cute local spot. On our walk back to the house we came upon a farmer's market at the train station parking lot and picked up lots of fresh veggies for our dinner that night. Our group was in town to participate in the Josh Billings Runaground (a relay kayakathon) on Sunday so we didn't have a lot of time to explore all that was available, but it seemed like there was plenty to do if you enjoy the outdoors. The owner Kim was always very prompt in her response to my questions. We all decided we'd definitely want to come back for another weekend soon!

Four couples rented this house in Oct. It was very very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was beautiful and the bathrooms were all new and gorgeous! The owner of the property was very responsive when we called with a minor problem. There was a huge dining table that fit all eight of us! The living room was a little tight. It was comfortable, though and had a great gas wood stove that was very cozy. The house had big beautiful windows and was filled with light. It was a half block from a beautiful lake. We hiked and shopped and the guys even golfed. It was a perfect home base to all of our fall activities. We only ate out one night because the house was so comfortable to cook and eat in! We will definately be going back!
