We had a wonderful stay at your beautiful condo. The view was simply spectacular! We enjoyed sitting on the lanai every morning with our breakfast and enjoyed the quiet, peaceful view in the evening as well. The condo is very well equipped and comfortable. We would definitely recommend this condo. We hope to be back enjoying Maui soon.

Hi Corrine Yes we are back home wondering how the vacation time passed so quickly. We had a fantastic time and a huge part of that was your amazing condo. We arrived at the condo late at night, tired from the long journey. I punched in the lock code, opened the door and was instantly energized. From the beautiful decorations, the bright colours and the huge TV already tuned to Hawaii pics, everything was perfect. Waking up the next morning and seeing the view from the balcony...WOW!!!!! Perfectly manicured palm trees and lawn framing pods of whales breaching and tail slapping. How can you not love it? Now I know why you get so passionate when you talk about your paradise in the sun. The location is perfect we were able to walk to and from our new favorite watering hole, Beach Bums. It's also very central for easy access to anywhere on Maui. We've already had lots of people ask us about the condo, we will happily pass along your info. Thanks again for sharing your property. Malhalo Barry

Thank you for sharing your beautiful condo! The views were amazing, as well as the location, as it was central so we visited the vast majority of Maui. This condo had everything that we needed during our stay. The owners were great with communication as well as helping us with any questions that we had. Overall this was a perfect place and we will be visiting again in the future! Thank you again!

Great Location with Stunning Views

The condo definitely met our expectaions and the pictures are very accurate, as are the descriptors listed on this site. Everything you need (pots, pans, coffee maker to beach towels, soap, hairdryers etc.) is in the condo and all you will need to buy is food, drinks and other consumables you may want for picnics and such. The view from the lanai is amazing! Unfortunately, the whales had moved on during our stay, but I can see (if you visit during whale season) how you could spend many hours watching the whales. We spent our mornings enjoying our breakfast on the lanai and most evenings we relaxed with a glass of wine while listening to the waves. There is a small air conditioner located in the condo, but we never had any reason to use it since the weather was perfect, and the cool breeze off the bay was more than enough to keep the condo at a comfortable temperature. Moreover, I couldn't imagine falling asleep to anything other than the soothing sound of the waves as thy rolled in. Keep in mind this unit is not located on the beach (having a beach was not our priority) but there is a great walking beach a short distance from the condo and there seem to be public beaches that can be easily accessed every inch on Maui. As an aside, we enjoyed the beaches on the way to Lahaina as well as some of the beaches in the more touristy areas in southern Maui. The location is perfect! You're just a short and picturesque drive to Lahanai (apx 15-20min) and about the same length to the more touristy resort areas in southern Maui. I suggest a trip to the Monkey Pod for lunch or dinner; it is a fantastic restaurant with great views. If don't feel like cooking or taking a drive out to eat, walk down to Beach Bums for a bite to eat since they have great food at very reasonable prices. Also, you are just a short walk to marina where you can charter a boat for snorkeling or whale watching etc.. Some final notes, be sure to see the lavender farm and stop by Anthony's coffee shop in Paia on your way to Hana; they will pack a cooler lunch for you to take on the long ride. We suggest having a picnic at the park where the black beaches are located. Finally, Maui is very kid friendly if you have small children. Our daughter (just 4yrs old) had a wonderful time and it was nice to be in an area that was beautiful for adults and children alike. Have a great vacation! We will be returning for sure!

We stayed here over Easter 2012 for two weeks and absolutely loved it. The condo is gorgeous with all the amenities of home - tastefully decorated and very nicely appointed - they thought of everything! Our TV and internet buffs were very excited about the satellite and wifi. Free long distance to check in with loved ones back home was great! We also loved that they had maps and guide books and the road to Hana CD guide. We loved the location as it was very central to the entire island: 10min to Kihei, 15min to Lahaina/KAnapaali and 10 min to Kahului. This condo is perfect for a hub... The savings are incredible compared to similar properties in the other towns. The beach is within walking distance and so are gas station, convenience store, and a few good restaurants at the harbor, too. Plus if you don't have a vehicle I noticed there's a bus route that goes to the harbor. The property itself is well managed and quiet - the sunrises are gorgeous and the breeze at night means no AC required. We are coming back sometime and hope to stay here again. The owners were fabulous and very accommodating!

We had a very nice vacation for a couple weeks, enjoyed a lot. Very beautiful view from lanai as well as from bedroom that faced ocean. Although we were a little bit surprised that the master bedroom and living area were only separated by curtains, but it works fine anyway. Always have a nice breeze from ocean, so never were too hot. The condo has everything you need for stay, very clean, updated, comfortable, as well as it's a very quiet area, so will get a lot of rest. After this trip I really get used to ocean sounds, I even got sounds mashine! ( its very relaxing) Thank you very much sharing it with us!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks in this clean, colorful and comfortable condo with an expansive ocean view. It was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay and what a great central location for traveling to all parts of Maui. Yes, it's windy here, but we came to appreciate the breezes as we didn't need air conditioning! The owners couldn't have been more helpful in the rental process and made us feel very welcome. What can I say more? This is a real winner if you're looking for a fairly priced, lovely, clean and convenient place to stay on Maui.

Extraordinary ocean view

This condo is very well decorated and the photos represent the reality. You sleep in front of the ocean, the volcano, the sunrise or the full moon. The lanai is spectacular. You feel like home when your are in the condo. The master bed is very confortable. You have everything you want to feel in paradise. In july, we have the sunrise (beautiful), but not the sunset. The beach near the condo (sugar beach) is ok but when your are in Maui, you want to go to several beaches. So it does't matter if you don't have a beach in front. You have THE view. But, in Maalaea their is sugar cane burning at early morning during harvesting. A heavy dark smoke come from the valley, with dusk. If you think to sleep the doors open to listen the waves and the wind, forget it between 4 am till 7 am. Ten days on fifteen, we had bad smoke in the condo during the nights. The owner is very comprehensive but can't do anything about it. It's Maalaea's best secret... With the a/c you can afford it. When you know and accept it, it can be paradise because you are in Maui, 30 feet to the ocean, in a beautiful condo with everything to make you feel good. The owner is very easy to reach and you can trust her without any problem. Would i go back despite the smoke? YES in winter for the whales. Mahalo Maui!

Owner response: Yes, the smoke created during the harvest of sugar cane can be more than annoying, and for some it can also be a health concern! Fortunately, it only happens every two years, and only during the summer/fall season. Much controversy surrounds this practice, but it seems that this is the only alternative for the Islands sugar cane industry. We have found a "Cane Burn Hotline" number that one can call to see when/where burns on the Island are scheduled: (808) 877-6963. Also, we have gone ahead and added ourselves to the list of those to be contacted when burning is planned in our area. This way, we can at least make our guests aware of the circumstances so that they can take appropriate measures.

We spent a totally relaxing 10 days at the condo. It was great dealing with Corrine. The condo was fully equipped, centrally located, and it was great to sit on the lanai or by the pool and watch the whales in the harbour. I would love to recommend it but want to keep it for my self!

Great clean and well maintained condo. Love waking up to see Haleakala right outside the master bedroom. Humpbacks right off the Lanai. The pictures are very accurate, along with the description of amenities. Thanks, will recommend to family and friends.

We stayed at this lovely condo in February 2011 for a girls getaway. The photos are very representative of the actual unit. The unit is spotlessly clean and well maintained. Loved the location, central to all of Maui. Great whale watching from the lanai and walking distance to the harbour with several restaurant options, shops and especially Beach Bums for a great happy hour. Pacific Whale Foundation was also located in the harbour for whale watching, tours, Molokini snorkeling and shopping; their staff are naturalists and marine biologists and we highly recommend their tours and shop. The owner called and checked in with us on arrival to ensure we had arrived and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this condo and would love to return in the future for a longer stay.

We have recently returned from a 5-night stay at this beautiful condo on Maui, we were four adults. This condo has everything needed to enjoy your stay. The description and pictures provided are very accurate, and the owners are great to deal with and will answer any questions promptly. This was the second straight year that we stayed at this condo while visiting Maui, we truly cannot find a better place to stay at in the same price range. The location is perfect as it is very central. We would not hesitate to recommend this condo to anyone going to Maui, and we will stay there again the next time we visit, hopefully next year..

We recently returned from a 5-night stay at this wonderful condo and we couldn't have been more pleased. It seems that no stone was left unturned when furnishing and supplying the condo....everything you might possibly need was already there ! Maps, mugs, binoculars, coolers, WD 40....it was all in the unit. The location of the condo was also one of the things that we came to appreciate. It's only about 15 minutes from the airport, and is centrally located for travel on the west side of the island. The Maui Ocean Center is within easy walking distance, there is a Safeway grocery store about 15-20 minutes away, and Beach Bums restaurant is a short 5 minute walk from the condo and there are even 2-for-1 breakfast coupons in the condo for the place. All in all, it was a very enjoyable and relaxing experience to stay in this condo and I wouldn't hesitate recommending it to family and friends who are traveling to Maui. Thanks very much to Corrine and Keith for sharing their great place with us, and we look forward to staying again the next time we vacation on Maui.

If you are looking for a quiet and serene environment this is the place for you. Waking up and going to bed listening to the ocean and feeling its breeze was so refreshing. The view from the lanai was breathtaking. There are a few shops and eating places within walking distance but we found better selections in other areas. So if you have a rental car, like we did, this is the place for you. This place is highly recommended.

This is such a great condo in a perfect central location and within walking distance of several nice restaurants. It definitely exceeded our expectations! We stayed there for a week with our daughters in March and loved it. This place is very clean! There are tile floors, a well stocked kitchen, big washer and dryer, fluffy towels in the bathrooms and even zip lock baggies in the kitchen drawer! We enjoyed wonderful mornings and evenings on the patio. The views were incredible and we watched whales jumping in the distance, snorkelers, surfers and even a surfing dog (for real!!) right there from the patio! I was so impressed in dealing with Corrine. She answered every email almost immediately and the communication throughout the booking was excellent. She is just the nicest person! I highly recommend this condo to people looking for a centrally located, clean and well equipped place to stay in Maui. You will not be disappointed!

I had to pry my husband off of the balcony our last night. Beautiful views, a full moon shining on the water which was a mere 40 feet away, a tropical breeze and a mai tai. What more could you ask for. Mahalo

We are coming up to our last days on vacation in this condo. It is a lovely unit. Well appointed and the appliances are top notch. I have a friend staying in a high end hotel in Wailea, but that is just like any resort anywhere...you don't feel like you are in Hawaii particularly. With this location, the ocean outside two Glass sliding doors, you are REALLY experiencing what is it like to be here...Cozy, personal, all the conveniences of home. I have an eight year old who really appreciates the Movie selection, I appreciate the internet and drinking coffee on the balcony overlooking the ocean..and doing laundry as needed! This location is also conveniently located to be able to explore the Island as it is very central in Maui. The owner is very accessible, professional, and very nice. Lots of glass tables and such (corners)...probably not suited as well for small children:) It is also a good space if you like to take advantage of the natural ocean breeze as opposed to air conditioning. The air unit is a bit loud and defeats the purpose of being next to an ocean. I preferred the opening of doors and windows. You will enjoy staying here!

We had a wonderful time in Maui. Your condo was perfect for us, clean, comfortable, and centrally located. First day we all went snorkeling right in front of the condo! I think Maalaea gets a bad rap for the tradewinds. I found the breeze quite nice!

Nice, but not beach-front!

This is a nicely decorated clean property. The owners are easy to deal with. The apartment appears much more compact and cozy (read small) then in pictures. The unit has a tiny weeny wall a/c unit in the living room, which will not help you much, especially in the farther fish-decorated bedroom. The apt. is oceanfront, but (!!) it is not the same as beachfront. You have to walk to the nearest swimming beach, which is located somewhat nearby (5-7 min walk) in a similar condo development. So, if you have children and bunch of beach accessories to carry, this walk will eat you alive. Overall, this is a nice property, but next time we'll make sure to rent a beach-front, not ocean-front. Enjoy!

Our stay in Maui was fantastic! Waking up every day to the sound of the ocean is fantastic for a couple from Ohio! Each day we would get out and drive north to Lahaina or south to Wileah, and just be in awe of the mountains on one side of the highway and the beautiful blue ocean on the other side. Everything blooms in Maui too! We didn't take any pictures of the condo while we were there because the pictures on the homeaway.com website were so accurate. We sent a picture of our view from the Lanai to my sister and she said "I've already seen this picture". She had seen the pictures of the condo before we left and it was so accurate. The unit was very well maintained and very clean. It was stocked with a lot of the little things that you tend to forget when traveling. We would definitely recommend this condo! Ron and Sharon
