We booked this cabin to spend some time with extended family members and catch up after not being together for many years. It was the perfect, quiet place to unwind, play games, and enjoy each other's comany. A short drive into Grand Lake for shopping, dining and very unique puttputt, made it very enjoyable. Also close to Rocky Mountain National Park. The owners were very responsive and cooperative when some unexpected issues arose with the cabin. Corrected immediately. Would definitely recommend and return again. Should note that the master suite is up a flight of stairs, but downstairs bedrooms are quite comfortable. We put the kids upstairs and we hardly heard them. Only down side is that the deck does face a road that is heavily traveled morning and night, but otherwise very quiet.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with young children.

We stayed here with 5 guys over new years to snowmobile and the place was awesome! To be honest we didn't expect luxury, and we were thoroughly impressed. Every amenity you could want was included: Awesome kitchen, nice grill, ultra comfortable beds. Dave and Sheryl were great, cant beat it as far as I'm concerned!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children.

My husband and I rented this house at the last minute and it was perfect! It was much larger than we needed since there were only two of us, but the price was right. The owner was very responsive to my questions. They have a book at the house which gives you information about the surrounding area which was nice. The listing is accurate and the home was immaculate. I would recommend this home for groups of 2-8. Nice place!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

With a good rates like this cabin and no cleaning fee, you would expect to find corners being cut somewhere; nothing could be farther from the truth when my group of 10 arrived. We enjoyed this cabin immensely. The kitchen is great for cooking and entertaining as it opens to the living room; it is well stocked for preparing any type of food. The cabin on a whole it well stocked, from nice towels in the bathrooms, to laundry detergent for washing your clothes. Even with 10 people staying here, we had plenty of room and entertainment with the provided board games, cable TV, internet, phone and great view from the deck. One day, we returned from fishing in Grand Lake, where we caught several trout, to find three moose outside the cabin. Would strongly recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to stay in the area as it is right across from to Lake Grandby and minutes away from Grand Lake. The owners are very nice and accommodating. We are looking forward to coming back in the future!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, pet owners, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

My family stayed at this house in January with another family (4 adults and 3 kids total). We had a fabulous time. The pictures do not do this house justice - we walked in and were amazed at what a nice place it was! Very comfortable and spacious - 1 night we had 9 adults and 3 kids there for dinner and we weren't cramped. The kids, 2 preschoolers and a toddler, had lots of room to play. The owners are VERY nice and accommodating, very friendly and willing to work with us, which was a huge plus. Very cold outside, but warm and comfy inside. We will definitely be back next year!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

We stayed at this house over Labor Day weekend. This house has a very comfortable floor plan & the master bed was very comfortable. It has a nice deck off the living area. The kitchen is very well equipped with top of the line kitchen ware & wide variety of spices & coffee. We entertained 10 people one evening & had plenty of space. This house was very clean, well maintained with updated kitchen & baths. The only recommendation we would make would be drapes over the blinds in the master bedroom to keep out the morning sun for those who like to sleep in. We will be returning for a longer stay in the future. Thanks Sheryl for sharing your wonderful home with us! Tom & JanRecommended for: Girls getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing.

My family and I stayed at this house for a week in July. We had a wonderful time. Grand Lake and the Rockie Mountian National Park are great. The house had plenty of room for eight. It is well supplied and very clean. Beds are comfortable and owners are very nice. We would stay here again.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 3/3

My husband and I stayed at this house for 2 weeks in August. It was very clean, well supplied and well furnished. The bed upstairs was excellent and there was plenty of extra space. Also, with the master being upstairs, we felt comfortable leaving the bedroom windows open all night. Access to RMNP was just a few miles down the road as was the charming town of Grand Lake. The location is great for those that have ATV's or just want to lounge on the deck and enjoy the view or run in to Grand Lake to shop or dine. It seemed as if there are more ATV trails than Jeep, but this is the first time we have stayed near Grand Lake so I may be wrong. The house sits on a corner lot and, for the most part, is in a quiet neighborhood. If you are the type of person that likes to sleep in, you would like the downstair's bedrooms better as the master is quite bright once the sun tops the mountains. We didn't encounter any problems except for a blown light bulb that we couldn't reach and as soon as we let the owners know about it, they fixed it and we never even knew they were they. You will not be bothered by the owners. Their telephone can be used to make free calls anywhere within the US which was a plus for us to call family in Texas. We would absolutely consider staying there again.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

Why the Owner Chose Grand Lake:
The desire to live in the mountains where we can have easy access to Winter Park and Snowmobiling in the Winter and boating and mountain biking in the Summer. The location of this home was the perfect spot.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Mountain living is easy and care free. We enjoy our the fact that we can come up and just relax. We chose this location because the Home is close to all activities that we enjoy, skiing, boating, snowmobiling, mountain biking and hiking. We can mountain bike from the house to the trails of which there are hundreds of miles of beautiful trails to enjoy. In addition the trail head to the of snowmobile trails in the area is just up the street and when the street is snowed over it is legal to ride our snowmobiles from the house to the trails and all the way into Grand Lake. The Scenery is absolutely beautiful any time of year.
