Palo Vineyard offers a wine country vacation house and provides an ideal lodging for a family gathering, a romantic getaway, birthday party or friends outing. The ~2000 square footage 6-yr-old house has 3 bedrooms/2 bathrooms, 1 den and large living room. Our grapes are from about 3.5 acres Dolcetto vines, a rare and delicate Italian variety, roughly translates from Italian as the "little sweet one". We are also surrounded by 16 acrres of Cabernet vines
Only 50 miles North of San Francisco, Palo Vineyard is situated between highway 101 and 128, and is close to many prestigious wineries in Napa and Sonoma counties. It can be your dream vacation getaway to explore California wine.
On your wine country travel day, you will want a restful and relaxing place to lodge with your family and friends. Palo Vineyard is right in between the two wine countries, Napa and Sonoma. We are 8 miles West to Calistoga and 7 miles East to Santa Rosa.
It is a short drive to many local attractions in Sonoma and Napa Wine Country.

About Sonoma Wine Country:
There are more than 55,000 acres in Sonoma County planted to grapes, and approximately 200 wineries. Wine growing regions are: Alexander Valley, Bennett Valley, Chalk Hill, Dry Creek Valley, Green Valley, Knights Valley, Northern Sonoma, Rockpile, Russian River Valley, Sonoma-Carneros, Sonoma Coast, Sonoma Mountain and Sonoma Valley. Grape acres have increased only two-and-a-half times in the last 100 year.
About Napa Valley:
To the West is the Sonoma Valley, to the East is Lake Berryessa and Yolo and Solano Counties, and to the North is Lake County.

I wanted to thank you for a nice weekend. Everyone enjoyed it. The children loved the trampuline! As a group, we are big cooks and enjoyed eating and watching the sunset both nights. It is a fantastic location with incredible views. We also enjoyed walking around the property and viewing the vines. So again, I thank you.
